    I personally haven't seen a render or promo image that makes me interested in purchasing her yet, but I am sure I will probably get her at some point.

    If my buying into Genesis 8 is anything to go by, I probably won't be buying into Genesis 9 until 2024.

    Finally got home from work and got a chance to render something with Vickie.  I think the update around the eyes alone is worth the hooplah!  

    Genesis 9 - BRING IT!

    This render only resolved to 11% before I stopped it.

    Looks like G8 is the end of the line for me.  I just tried bending G9's feet and her metatarsals are completely borked, making her useless for my needs.

    I'm not going to ask for a refund (skipped the bundle and only paid $31 for the base figure), but I have removed her from my library.

    Indeed, a very close match. 

    Bedankt laugh. I wouldn't try any of my government (German).  

    I have a bad time not seeing it, mein lieber Nachbar, that I feel Vicky 9 is "a bit cursed" for me ;-). I do think she is beautiful,  and she looks like a terrific figure, but I just keep seeing it. Everytime I see her a part of my brain goes, "There he is". I guess it's one of those things you can't unsee, for me at least.

    Beautiful render of her. But how did you make the expressions work? I have the expression pack, but they all do nothing. What is the trick? 

    I really like her so far.

    I have the same feeling. Ok she's beautiful, but so are many genesis 8.1 or even genesis 8 characters. No MAJOR improvement from just an observer's standpoint. Technically of course there are many improvements but just from the promo images, I'm not very impressed.

    Did a quick test of Gen 8 clothes, no major problems.
    As mentioned, footwear pose needed tweaking (but Gen 8 struggles with these boots anyway)

    What expressions pack are you talking about?

    I have only used visemes, that are the part of Victoria 9.

    I also wonder, how hard is to create my own expressions for her.

    That's great news if true of all G8F footware. 

    PS Just tried some G8F boots from DX30. Fitted perfectly with just the above-mentioned adjusment to feet pose needed

    I found that I couldn't get the autofit to work on footware.   It's frustraiting, to say the least.   Even attempting to tweek it after the autofit, I just couldn't get the footware to match up with the G9 feet.

    I also did a pose and the teeth stayed but the rest of the body moved.   It was kind of creepy to see the uppers sticking out of G9's cheek.  It was one of the poses that came with the essentials.

    Probably not! I am sure Riversoft Art is just dying to start creating all kinds of new converters to capitalize on users needs as usual

    It's my understanding that those are for the skin detail normal maps, not necessarily the visible textures.

    Here's my first quickie with Victoria 9.  (ETA in case anyone's curious: Deer Lady Horns from Deer Lady Hair for G8, Raven Lady Dress for G8, Necklace from...I think it's Wild Witch for G8, Soft Curls Ponytail for G9, Makeup from the V9 makeup kit, oh and the arm thingy is from the Aurola Warrior Wolf Outfit for G8 and The Temple Below enviro)

    I think she's hideous. The only official figure I've seen that makes me gag harder is unmodified LaFemme. There. I said it.

    Feet/boots are still going to be trouble with Autofit, but that's expected.

    Clothing does seem to transfer quite well but the shoes/boots definitely do something odd around the toes. I'm not sure why.
