Love the details! Are they based on HD or bump maps?
in my case whatever loads when i load the HD character... there are options to load HD normal maps but to me they look the same as the default normal maps (having rendered both at extreme close up).
Love the details on the skin. I assume they are derived from the normal maps.
Love it as well, but her lacrimals look like the outer skin because the orginal texture maker forgot to give them a bit more red ;-)
I have tried PowerPose with Head Template on Victoria 9 HD,
but it is not much there - only eyes up/down or eyes side left/right, head and neck.
Hope to find more, but it looks like somebody needs to made it first.
Anyhow, below is one of images, I have made with what was available.
I like this composition better...
To show her gums...
I trust you're aware that they need to be rendered to be seen?
eta: And also using the latest edition of D/S apparently.
Vicky 9 with one of the skins in Genesis Starter essentials. She's wearing a Genesis 2 dress and Genesis 3 necklace. I think I got the lighting better in the one where she is wearing a coral shirt.
Yeah, I'm not using the latest ds and I can't figure out where to use the maps. I'll probably end up making regular maps when I get a chance.
Finally got https://www.daz3d.com/emotions-expressions-for-victoria-9
Below is an example render with it...
I like those expressions and the sliders for them so you can make them not as extreme.
Here I tried combining G9 base darker skin with V9 skin with LIE. I was using DS 4.14 beta till now and can't seem to get lighting right or maybe it's V9? In any case, I usually do postwork but this is a straight render.Yes, you can see pores. but for the type of work I do, I don't really want to see pores. People usually airbrush pores out anyway.
Fantastic all! It feels like a new era has begun.
Nice work all,
My dip in the Victoria 9 pool with some G8F morphs moved over with a G8F clone.
Great seeing everyone's renders! I agree, especially if you're going for realism, she really is beautiful. Here she is with G9 feminine01 material (tweaked a smidge).
Very nice renders, everyone.
Great tips about pores, @Wonderland.
Good stuff today, so buy and cry.
Used on Victoria 9:

... and just another one ...
That clothing looks nice
next try.
Great renders, everyone! I am really enjoying viewing this thread. That portrait is so beautiful, @cgidesign. It almost looks like a painting.
When you have a photoshoot at 8, but have to stab orcs at 9.
My latest render of Vicky
Thank you
I like that squated pose, seems better than g8. How is hip bending in general for g9 / v9 ?
The clarity of the closeup images is such that we're going to need a Piercing Morph, or even a Pierced Ear Geograft to make it so the ear dimples in at the same spot as ear rings pass through the ear. If we don't, the fact that the earring passes through a solid ear with no piercing is going to be painfully obvious.
Regards,
Richard.
You would be able to do it with a height and/or normal map so it would be without adding extra poly
Given the level of detail in the ear.. It might be possible, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if the size of the deformation to the ear relative to the final close-up image size would need it to be in geometry rather than maps, particularly if simulating the slight verical elongation and vertical tension effect on either side of the hole that happens to an ear after several years of a piercing being used.
Regards,
Richard.
