    The thing I am now wondering is...

    I see a listed thread has, say, 5 new posts.  I go to open the thread... and it immediately logs me out instead.  Does the forum count that as me having seen those 5 new messages, and skip me past them the next time I go to read the thread?  0o  Right now I'm not sure if it does that or not.  If the random logout IS doing that, then I'm super-super annoyed.  It it's NOT "losing" me those 5 messages, and it DOES show those same 5 messages as being new the next time I go to that thread, then I'm merely sort of annoyed by the random loggout.  0o

    Just been signed out twice trying to open this thread, after I was signed out when I tried to comment on another thread to compliment someone's render. Happened couple times yesterday. What is going on?

    Edit to add: iMac, Google Chrome latest version whatever it is.

    And I hadn't read this thread before, so when I signed back in, it took me to the second page. I just finished reading the first page. I can't swear to it, but I think I was signed out when I started shopping yesterday. My default is to be always logged in.

    Signout problem has been in abeyance for me while I have a shop tab open in my browser at the same time. Might be a work-around.

    This is getting old pretty fast... Being logged out every minute or so and when opening topics in new tabs, when one gets there, one sees only the forums main page because one has been logged out, but all the unread posts have still been marked as read... angry

    One interesting observation with the constant signing out,  is seeing the store prices on products without the Daz+ adjustments when signed out.  

     

    Been signed out 3 times today ,  mostly in the forums,  the store seems to be stable.

    I am refraining from making purchases until it stops. Not out of spite, but if there is an error with log-ins like this in any part of a site in general, then I doubt my account and transactions with it are secure.

    I am getting auto-logged out with a frequency of 10 minutes or less between forced log outs.

    It's getting worse... nearly logged out per 2 ~ 3 minutes... are you under someone's "attack" ? devil

    The constant sign out is slowly driving me crazy. Especially when you can no longer log in afterwards, as happened to me yesterday. The store doesn't seem to be affected. There should be an emergency service on weekends to fix this.

    I've thought about that too, because things like that usually happen during major sales. But then they would probably attack the store.

    I no longer bother on my ipad as autofill requires finger or keypad authentication whilst on PC I can just click account and it's autofilled and ticked

    still tosses me out of thread etc back to catagories, iPad will throw me back to my account page

    I check back on lightning deals and the sale catagories now and again but it will sign me out as soon as I go to the forum

    It had been signing me out only once per day, more or less, which was mildly annoying but tolerable.

    It has just suddenly decided that it's going to sign me out about once per minute, which is definitely NOT acceptable.

    Both store and forum -- thankfully not when I was trying to buy anything.

    Windows 10, most recent version of Firefox, whatever good that may do anyone.

    I have had the issue well over a year ago using Waterfox which is a fork of Firefox but I switched to Vivaldi some time back and on my old PC and my new one, I have yet to be logged out on Vivaldi

    Daz implemented a change to fix the log out issues with the forums; it might require clearing your local cache as it was a change to one of the javascript files on the forums.

    For me, the problem doesn't seem to be just the forums, though. I get logged out of the store, which then automatically logs me out of the forum.

    I cleared the local cache (the part related to any site with Daz in its URL) but I was disconnected three time since then. I cleared it a second time (still only for websites related to Daz) to see if disconnects continue to happen.

    Edit: I was still disconnected a couple of time since writting this message.

    I'm using an up-to-date Firefox (122.0) on MacOS 13 if it's useful.

    Was over an hour ago - and touch wood - no log outs since

    Nope, nothing has changed on my end, unfortunately. Been signed out a couple of times since I came here 10 minutes ago.

    I cleaned my cache on my old iMac, Chrome, and while reading the Commercial thread notice an item I wanted to make sure I either bought or wishlisted, went back to the store, couldn't find it, even though it came out this week, so as I tried to back to the Commercial thread for the link, I was signed out twice before I made it there, again when I clicked the link and tried to wishlist the product, and again when I then moved to this thread to note the sign-out issue is worse now than before. Seriously, four times in less than a minute!? That is frustrating.

    went nuclear and now all my other site's history and logins gone which in a couple cases is a PITA
