Yes, the attempted fix didn't - Daz is aware of that. Sorry for getting your hopes up.
I'm still getting logged out, often. Doesn't matter store or forum. Its DAZ site in general. I somehow got a purchase in so I could use the $10 survey coupon. Wake me up when its working again. Why does this site have so many problems?
Yep, I'm getting signed out from the store as well as the forum. Maybe it is a sign that we should spend more time rendering and less time in the store and on the forums.
Yes, it's a very strong sign
It's doing it for me now too... with a vengeance... several times in a row.
I feel it got a bit better for a bit there but it's still happening.
I am finding it moderately OK if I don't ask it to walk and chew gum at the same time - open only one thread at a time (still in separate tabs, but not risking many at once). It certainly isn't cured by that, though.
So far it's only happened trying to read or post in this thread...
This is why I am not at all upset about no longer being in the computer management grist mill. Life was easy when I was the guy paving the way. Those who came behind me, cluttered it all up with progress and ever increasing complexity. I guess that's also what the procaryotes said to each other when they saw what the eukaryotes were up to.
Maybe it's time to look at something else than fixing some code snippets? Not that I know the slightest about that stuff, but I have a hard time believing that the code is suddenly deciding to re-write it self??? If it has worked for a year or more???
It would be nice to get a more plausible explanation!
My hint to DAZ: Given that there are occasionally serious connection issues, and now there's constant logging out... maybe it's time to look at a different site provider and/or different forum software? At this point the forum is BEYOND useless to just about everyone.
I've tried TWO different browsers, Firefox and Edge, and BOTH manifest the logout problem. And I don't use Edge, so it didn't have any cache to clear out.
Happened to me all of a sudden today, several times. But before this it was completely solid and working just fine.
THough on a bright side, Floorp, a Japanese fork of Firefox, it working in the forums just fine.
Floorp seems working well by now... so far so good. Thanks!
Got logged out of the store end, but just the once. Forums have been okay for the last few minutes.
Got logged out of Floorp .....
Logged out when I looked at this thread.
For me, definitely worse than yesterday, which was worse than the day before...
I am win11 and chrome and it signed me out trying to read this thread LOL sigh
Opened DAZ, looked at today's offerings, went to forum, logged out... sigh
It's a sign I have work to continue to do on my new computer's metadata's sub-categories.
It's just annoying. I was kicked out again earlier after daring to open more than one window... I hope the spook will be over tomorrow and the forum will be fixed.
Oh.. damn. Still problematic after a couple of hours...
OK, Can I have the Hamster? Since I have been reading a lot lately, I found this.
"While it may seem unthinkable to many, there have been reports of people consuming hamsters in various parts of the world. Some cultures consider them a delicacy, while others use them for medicinal purposes."
It's a Food I never Tried.
I took three Logouts even to read this thread.
My product library is also messed up, 464 products are currently unavailable.
its even worse than before. Everytime I try to change pages, it logs me out.
And it's going to be 6PM on Monday (mytime) before they return to the saltmines...
After months of the forums working fine, last night began the cycle of being kicked out and needing to sign in multiple times an hour.
It seems so difficult to keep a forum working properly, I find it humorouts that people are sometimes concerned about DAZ coming out with a cloud-based DAZ Studio...
is it a DDOS attack from someone with a gripe?
