I am now running 62.0.3 of 64-bit FF and maybe it works here? but I can't find out because the installation wiped out everything so it doesn't even list the 'disabled' plugins. THIS FF looks like the one I was using on win 7.
So how do I get it again to try?
NEVERMIND found it, installed it, and FF didn't even blink. and it works fine. Thanks.
I saw this on a few things today, and wondered if it was maybe a bug you needed to know about... Or, maybe because I'm a noob?
It's just some items that the plugin says are on sale today, but aren't on sale on the page or in the cart.
Unrelated to that, I saw several things today, since switching the price history to long view, where it showed a point in the past year where the thing was cheap to PC members, but free to non members? Is that a real thing? Anyone know?
Anyway, this is the bext plugin ever, and thank you! :)
It doesn't show the current price, it shows the lowest price for the day (based on the international UTC timezone).
If it's not currently that price in the store, then that sale may have ended already. Still, it shows the low price in the graph, as being the lowest price for the day.
Ah, ok... So, at some point, when it was the 6th in Greewnich, the item was on sale, but not necessarily when it was the 6th in SLC, right?
Thank you :)
Right. In general, the dates are shown in UTC.
Although it could have been on sale on the 6th in SLC, too. Some of these sales last only a few hours, some only a few minutes (mostly the unintentional ones).
What I do, is turn on wishlist notifications; that way I immediately know when an item I want goes on sale. Even if it's a very short sale.
I'm going to add my voice to the Safari crowd. Since Safari uses webkit and Chrome started on webkit and has a ton of webkit code still in it, I'm hoping it's not too hard to do.
I know others use Chrome, but I refuse to use it as my main browser due to Google's penchant for tracking my web movements. Firefox just has too many issues for me. Guess I just like Safari over the others.
And I thought I was the only one. I used to love Google, but they went from "that's so helpful" to "that's too much help" to "whoa, that's creepy" really quickly. I use Firefox, even though it's a memory hog on my computer. If I'm rendering anything more than a few gigs, I have to shut Firefox down because my RAM usage is maxed out in Task Manager. But to be fair to them, I usually have a ton of tabs open and I go for days without closing Firefox (so I don't get logged out of my sites). So part of my problem is probably self created. But I still think Google's data mining is worse.
Which is the best browser to use it in? I don't see "Total Spent & Total Value Owned" or the "Multiple wishlist" buttons in Chrome, but I'd use Firefox if needed.
Chrome is the browser it is developed on, so in that sense, that's the best one to use. Although all of them that can install it should give pretty much the same results. Remember that you need to enable the total spent feature in the options--it is not turned on by default. Multiple wishlists also need to be set up first, read the short documentation by clicking on the "How does it work?" link on the options page.
I've only been able to test on one machine so far today, but I'm seeing this issue in both Chrome and Firefox: The Hide PC+ items is not working for me. Is anyone else seeing this, or is my pc just being obstinate?
Chrome is back to not reloading the page again when the URL changes. They did this once but then reverted back to actually reloading the page as before. Now they are not reloading it again.
Fix: after clicking the "hide pc+" link, reload the page. You should now see the list without the PC+ items in it.
That fixed it in Firefox too, thanks!
The tragically embarassing thing is that I hadread that instructions page... It just didn't occur to me that the extra pull-down wouldn't show up until I'd defined some categories... >.<
Seems obvious in hindsight :)
I'd had the totals thing enabled before, too, but today I disabled it and renabled it, and I think I just didn't look in the right place before.
Thank you! :)
@Ati - Hey! Love the Addon and thank you so much for saving me tons :)
Quick question - I noticed the 'Comments' field under Wishlist items a while back, but still can't find myself using it. I was wondering if there's any way the Addon could filter the page by a single word (or hashtag) in the Comments?
I'm currently using Google Keep to keep track of my most wanted for the PC+ sale (vehicles, places, G8F-Clothing, G3M-Clothing etc.), but it would be awesome to sort the Wishlist to do it quicker (and without having to create a separate checklist).
Thanks again :)
You should be able to just use the search feature in your browser to find a word anywhere on the page. CTRL+F. This works in all the browsers I've ever used.
Dana
You can put a single word (tag) in the comment, such as #house or #pose or #ASAP. You can even add multiple tags to the same item. Then you can display only a certain hashtag using the drop-down menu. Say you only want to see all your #ASAP items, and boom, you have a filtered wishlist. Sort that by discount percentage, and you can easily manage thousands of wishlisted items.
For more info, including examples, click the "How does this work?" link after the "Multiple wishlists" option on the options page of the addon.
Unfortunately, that won't work (without a workaround) because the wishlist page only loads the portion of the list that is displayed. The rest of the items will only load as you move down the page. And you can't use the search function of the browser on content that's not there yet.
But the wishlist categories are designed for exactly this situation, to make it possible to filter the wishlist to a certain category, or certain types of items.
Awesome! You've thought of everything :) Goodbye, Google Keep!
@Ati - I don't know if this is at all possible but (and maybe I'm the only person who sees any use for this) would it be possible to add a sort sequence by highest/lowest full price (i.e. the list price quoted e.g. $134.95 for a Pro Bundle)? Not much use on the main store page, I suppose, but on a sale page I'd like to be able to see products in "value" sequence irrespective of whether PA or DO item. Yes, I realise I could log out and then use the existing sorts then log back in again to buy, so feel free to tell me "No". Alternatively, it might suit my purpose if there were a method to list everything that is not a DO (like PC+ can be filtered out).
This is not directly possible. Live prices that are loaded in the background from Daz only contain the current (discounted) prices. Even for the "sort by discount" list, we're using our own, separately generated data.
Although, I'm kind of talking nonsense here because that list is based on the full prices of the products--so in theory, using our externally generated list, this sort option could be possible. I'll write it on my TODO list for now, and we'll see what else it could be used for.
Ati - I've tried ticking the Multiple wishlist checkbox and I don't see the extra drop-down list.
You need to add stuff to it first.
Add a comment to an item, say #test and then go to the bottom of the page and click the big blue "Update wishlist labels" button. A popup will let you know that it saved the changes. Now reload the wishlist page, and if you have the "multiple wishlist" option turned on, you'll now see the extra drop-down.
Missed the big blue button - sorry about that!
Thanks for considering my crazy request! By the way, love that deals add-on so much now that I can't imagine being without it.

I have a question—I noticed for bundles, it’s giving prices of the individual items at full price instead of the sale prices. Like it will say 4 items you don’t own for $16.95 each when the whole bundle is $32.95 (just an example loosely from memory) Not sure if it was always like that, I just noticed it today...
I use that feature to find serial codes as they are in some random order and it is sometimes hard to find something. I wish this addon would work with the serial codes to make them easier to find.
That's no big deal. Just scroll really fast and keep scrolling until the last item loads. Then go to the top and do your search. I do it all the time. So it takes an extra minute or two...what's the big deal? Oh, I forget...todays feature, now playing: Short Attention Span Theater!

On the PC+ sales page, there are 2 sets of "View these artists together" links (which are super helpful). The first should only have the 12 artists for the flash sale, but they also include the featured artists below them. Is there any way to split the two groups? Thanks!
We depend on the code in the Daz sure and this issue would be caused by them only using a single "artistsTiles" div rather than two. Sadly nothing we can do to avoid that afaict.
