New user of the plugin, I can't help but admire how good it is. It allowed to grab my monthly dose of new content, thank you very, very, very much!

  • Hello,

I love this extention and use it successfully on my PC. I have a laptop and decided to install it on my laptop. It doesn't work so well. I cannot choose an individual notification on a product when the price reaches a certain threshhold. I am only presented with the link to set individual notification, then am taken to my wishlist where I click the 'email notifications' link and then see that my settings on the laptop in chrome (same version as my PC) are exactly the same as my PC. Help is very much appreciated!

    • I've shut down Chrome and restarted it.
    • I've double checked settings between PC and Laptop (both running WIndows 10, both running Chrome 64 bit version  71.0.3578.98
    • I've cleared cache on the laptop, shut down chrome and restarted it
    • I've offered sacrifices to the Chrome God
    • I've used foul language
    • I've tried to pretend it doesn't matter.

Can you try again after clearing the cookies in your browser? (Either all of them or just the ones from civilizationhunt.com--which is my domain where the notifications are running from.)

I've done it multiple times. Basic and advanced. I just did it again. I even went to my computer file directory and deleted all temp files. Still a no-go. It takes me into that unending loop of 'click here to set notifications', instead of the option to put in a figure amount to be notified at I have a link that says to set this up in my wishlist. I go to my wishlist using that link and everything there is exactly like my working desktop.

Finally installed this on Opera.  Thanks so much for supporting this great browser by the way.  I like the added tools to the wishlist.  Really helpful!

Do you have any other extensions installed? Do the other wishlist related features work for you? Sorry it's having issues on that machine.

This is a clean install of Chrome. I don't tend to use them except for Adobe and that is also installed on the working machine.

We'll work this out, although I'll probably send you a private message if it's not too trivial. I'll check a couple of scenarios tomorrow.

Thanks for your great gift for us. I want to see how much I've spent totally. Karibou said I can see it after install your extension but I failed. What did I miss?

Most of us don't really want to know!  It hurts!  laugh  I did it once, then I turned that feature off!  The shock.  The humanity!

Click the icon in your toolbar (the one you circled), and check the "Total Spent & Total Value Owned" checkbox...if you dare. wink We don't turn it on by default for the reasons @DanaTA mentioned. laugh

Once on, it will be 3 lines of blue text sitting opposite the "My Orders" header text. You'll see it on the right-hand side of that header.

    Have fun! :)

  • Have help standing by if you do it

Uncheck the checkbox, and check it again. Then reload the orders page.

  • Oh, my goodness!!!  Thank you so much for this wonderful add-on.  I am certainly shocked at the amount I spent :(  However, glad to know.

I sent a notice for my passcode, so I guess I might get that tomorrow!  This is absolutely fantastic!!  You are certainly good!!!

For those of you who cannot see the amount you spent, definitely close the add-on and reopen.  It will definitely work!!

Is there a way to synchronize the list of hidden items?

I use the extension on two computers.

Is there a way to synchronize the list of hidden items?

No, there isn't. The hidden items are only what you hide in that particular browser--our servers do not send your browser a list of items to hide. Such an action would raise ethical questions.

Well, to be clear, we wouldn't hide anything you didn't ask us to hide. However, a syncing solution for hidden items (to avoid the "main browser" check box situation we have now) is on my 2019 New Year's Resolutions list. ;) I use entirely too many browsers on entirely too many devices--so I feel your pain Louis. :)

  • I have tried checking that "main browser" checkbox on one of them and I have no idea what it's supposed to do.

All your e-mail notifications are personalized. You will not get notifications of items that you already have, and items that you have hidden. When you have the "this is my main browser" checkbox checked, then that list of hidden items is sent to our notification server. You only want to do this from your main browser. If you use another browser occasionally, where you do not have all the items hidden that you are not interested in, you do not want that list to be synced with the notification server, as that would overwrite your main (full) list of hidden items.

Works well with the current version of FlamingFennec :)

The "View These Artists Together" link is a great feature of the add-on. Lately though on each of the sale pages it isn't working right for me. It shows the text of 28,000+ but stops loading products at an image at the 20th spot. It looks like that product is no longer available, as it just continues to spin without showing the product image.

This link works correctly from the "Terrors of Space" page.

Totally just went to see if there was a Mozilla distro named that... :)

  • I love your plugin - still! - and have a few requestgestions... :)

Would it be possible to allow us to click a drop down or something to narrow a field of products (say a sale listing) to:

    • not list textures (or, at very least, not show textures for items not purchased or in the cart? Or, alternately, "show only textures for purchased items"?)
    • specify subcategories (like Places, Props, Machinery, Lights, Textures, etc.?)
    • have a locally stored back-up cart? (Suppose you want to us a gift-card sale to buy some other items, so you place those items in the cart to see how much the gift card will have to be, but then you haveto remove them, buy the guift card, then re-load the cart.  What if the plug-in could cookie a cart load, and you cuold just click "Move all items to Cart2" or "Load items from Cart2"?)
    • Sub-sort - Such as, sort by price, lowest to highest, but only items newer than 1 year?

Such a wonderful plugin, really.  Thank you, again and again.

I love this feature also, but I do get some issues with it. On mine, it just hangs at "calculating"...  Though, I do get sometimes the products that stay blank and just show a black rectangle

There's no fields in the store that tells us if an item is a texture set or not.

    • specify subcategories (like Places, Props, Machinery, Lights, Textures, etc.?)

This exists natively in the store. See the line with the blue background right under the main menus.

This is on our to-do list.

Please explain what the purpose of this would be. When would you need to do such a thing?

  • OverdrawnOverdrawn Posts: 580
@dawnblade @DigitalStream when either of those situations happen areload of the page usually fixes it. However, there was a big in the Day JS code over there last week that was causing some listing issues when using filters...so that might have caused the loading icons. We just construct the filters, the store's code does the filtering (on a good day ;) ).
