You are a genius, it now works brilliantly :)
Is there any data you need to help with the "view these artists together" link not working?
I use this every day!!! It has saved me a lot of money, I get to see forum and gallery references. Thank you so very much for your very hard work!!!
On the price history chart - there used to be two lines, a red and a blue, for PC and non-PC price? Now I only see blue, at PC price (I'm pretty sure it's PC price, anyway) - is that a bug or a feature or something I changed? (I set it up on Firefox for another account and saw the same results - that browser gets the non-platinum price, but the price history graph shows the platinum price)
When you're a PC+ member, only your price is shown. When you're not a PC+ member, or it is unknown whether you are a PC+ member or not, then both are shown, so you can see how much you would save if you became a PC+ member.
Ah... I think maybe it was showing both before because of my caps in my email, then. Thank you :)
Given my choice, I'd probably rather see both, but that's a very minor concern. :)
Is the View These Artists Together link broken for anyone else? It is broken means that it doesn't filter the artists correctly, so it brings in additional items into the tens of thousands. I remember Ati saying there couldn't be more than one set per page. This one is on the "Swords, Floods, and The Lord of the Dead" sale page. Seems to be broken for a while now. Can it please be fixed? Here is what the link comes out as:
View These Artists Together also isn't filtering correctly on today's "She's Absolutely Stunning" sale page. It's showing 28328 of 29882 items, which can't be right. Any time estimate of when this will be fixed on Chrome? I've logged out of Daz, cleared cookies and cache, and logged in to Daz. I've also tried Overdrawn's suggestion to reload the page, but still not filtering correctly.
For the most recent sales, it's actually better to click on any of the PA's in the list, then in the resulting screen click "Clear All" to get all items included in today's sale - the reason I say this is that not all the items for all the listed PAs have been included in the sales for the last couple of weeks (they've set up a daily sale category instead).
ETA: I think it's that second "&filter_vendor=Yura" that's causing the problem - for me it spends an age trying to load (not sure it even completes as I've used the other method instead). You could go up to the url in your browser and delete those characters (careful you don't delete any more than that) and it will work too.
That's what I've been doing to get the links to work.
Thank you for your messages, guys. We're aware of the "view these artists together" issue. It is caused by the PAs being listed in a different way on the sales page than how they used to be. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be fixed on the backend, so it will be fixed with a new version of the addon itself.
Clear All actually works! Not sure why it works, but I added up each individual PA's products and they totaled exactly what "Clear All" came up with. Thank you! How did you ever figure that out? Nevermind, I just hope I can remember this trick, say 2 weeks from now!
There appears to be something else wrong with the url other than that second "&filter_vendor=Yura", because when I removed it I still got over double the products. Here is the link after removing it:
Thanks! "Clear All" works for me but not the url editing. I'm glad it works for you though! Anyway, looks like it will be fixed in an upcoming version!
No, I didn't mean the results would be identical. As I explained, the current sales only have some of the products for some of the included PAs (e.g. 3D Universe today) - the one that goes to www.daz3d.com/shop/... shows the whole store for those PAs, not just today's selection for those PAs.
I jjust happened to notice the way the sales were set up. If you remember each day to hover over the icon for each of the PA's in the list, you'll be able to see whether it plans to take you to "shop" or <today-s-special-list-of-products> - if it's the latter then click on a PA and do a clear instead.
Thank you!! Looking forward to the new version. I use this feature, the sorting by % off, and the forum/gallery links on product pages constantly!
Hope its not been asked before (not sure how to search a single thread) but is it possible to filter out products with a Word in the title, like, say, ummm...."textures"?
You can use the site search for that. Then filter the result to only show your wishlist.
Cool! How do you exclude a word using the site/store search? (...and what does it have to do with my wishlist?)
I don't believe you can do that. You can search for just "texture," though.
if we had boolean logic search capability, it'd be -texture (and I'd sacrifice a live ◊◊◊◊◊ ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ to any deity or demon you name for that ability) but, as it is, no dice. You just have to wade through millions upon millions of texture sets you don't own the core item for. So far, at least.
Ati, every single page I click on pops up a message that says "Problem with wishlist autoupdate. Check settings on Wishlist page." I've checked all the settings I can and can't figure out where this is coming from. I only use DAZ Deals with my Windows 10 deskop and Firefox 65.0.1 (64-bit).
You have autoupdate turned on, but the email+passcode pair is not correct. Go to the options page (click the icon of the addon in the browser), click on the "Email notifications" tab in the upper right part os the screen, and enter the correct email and passcode pair. Remember, this is NOT your Daz login data. This is the passcode you received specifically for the notifications. If you don't remember what your passcode is, click the "Forgot your passcode?" link below the fields, and follow the instructions.
Ok- that fixed it. Thanks! But now I have another question. I noticed the chart of best prices on the products shows both PC and Non-PC pricing. I'm totally PC so I'd like to turn off the non-pc line on the graph - it's just confusing and one more thing that could slows things down. Is there a way to turn it off?
If the data we just talked about is correctly entered, and you're a PC+ member, then you will only see the PC+ line. There's caching for a few hours, so if they were incorrectly entered, then you will keep seeing both lines for a few more hours, but will eventually get back to just the PC line.
With Moyra's recent departure, I have a renewed interest in having an Artist filter on the Product Library. Don't know if it is possible, but it would certainly be helpful finding PC+ add-on textures (since those have names which give no clue to their base outfit).
A minor issue to be sure, but is there a place to refresh or sync wishlist at the page? (All I see is 'get e-mail' and large blue 'update labels' button)
Seem to remember sync or refresh button that as option before FF crashed and had to reinstall.
Currently, it's giving me notices on items already purchased or that have been removed from list. As said, minor issue, or of course. "70% off now? I should have waited!"
Go to the addon options page (click the addon icon in your browser), and click the "Email notifications" tab in the top right corner. On this page, enter the email address you used to sign up and the passcode you received for the notifications (this is NOT your Daz login data! Never give us your Daz login data!). If you no longer remember your passcode, then click the "Forgot your passcode?" link, and follow the instructions. Once these data are entered, you can do one of two things to sync your items:
Embarrassing, but check box wasn't enabled.
thanks!
Agreed...
Sorry if this has already been asked somewhere in this thread...
First, thanks for this amazing extension - it was exactly what I was looking for! My question has to do with the Hidden items (fantastic feature, by the way). Is there a way to transfer that list to a different computer? I have been creating a hidden items list on my laptop but found that those did not automatically populate on my desktop even though I am using Chrome on both and are logged in and supposedly syncing.
Good day, I doubt this would be a popular option that would lead to an update of the addon, but is there a tweak to the code you could give me or a way to list my owned products from high to low based on the full selling price rather than the current discounted price? I want to try a month of rendering practice starting with my most expensive sets. Thank you.
