    • not list textures (or, at very least, not show textures for items not purchased or in the cart? Or, alternately, "show only textures for purchased items"?)

There's no fields in the store that tells us if an item is a texture set or not.

Ok, sorry - I didn't know if there was perhaps some hidden meta for keyword categorization or something.

    • specify subcategories (like Places, Props, Machinery, Lights, Textures, etc.?)

This exists natively in the store. See the line with the blue background right under the main menus.

But, not if you want to use it with another sorted set - like if you had one of the "View These Artists Together"  PA listings, if you click a category in the top menu, the selections go away.  I guess you could just re-enter them manually for every type of content you wanted to look at, but I was hoping there was a fairly easy way to do it in the code of the plugin.

    • have a locally stored back-up cart? (Suppose you want to us a gift-card sale to buy some other items, so you place those items in the cart to see how much the gift card will have to be, but then you haveto remove them, buy the guift card, then re-load the cart.  What if the plug-in could cookie a cart load, and you cuold just click "Move all items to Cart2" or "Load items from Cart2"?)

This is on our to-do list.

So awesome :)  Thank you! :)

    • Sub-sort - Such as, sort by price, lowest to highest, but only items newer than 1 year?

Please explain what the purpose of this would be. When would you need to do such a thing?

Suppose you have a sale where you buy a qualifying item, then you get this huge list of - for instance - DAZ originals products at a steep discount.  You want to see if there are any so inexpensive that you want to buy them just because they're on sale, so you sort lowest price first.  But you don't want to have to scroll through a thousand products for ten-year-old figures, or, maybe you don't want anything that came out before iray, or something like that.

Actually, any negative boolean capability would be awesome - instead of just clicking for a given qualifier, like G8, if you could exclude unimesh, or exclude certain artists, or anything having to do with "lil" anything, but I don't know how that would work... I mean, suppose something is a G2 asset, but it's also keyworded for Victoria 4 - then a Victoria 4 boolean "NOT" would exclude it, when you want it.

Being able to exclude whole classes by "hide this product" means would be good, too.  It's daunting to think about opening tabs for 100s (1000s?) of "lil" chibi things just to click "hide" on all of them, but I've done it for a lot of them already.

@dawnblade @DigitalStream when either of those situations happen areload of the page usually fixes it. However, there was a big in the Day JS code over there last week that was causing some listing issues when using filters...so that might have caused the loading icons. We just construct the filters, the store's code does the filtering (on a good day ;) ).

I'm much more a graphics / UI/UX person in terms of web experience, but I do try that pretty much every time, but, so far, I've never actually had it fix it.  Sometimes, after a few attempts, it stops it loading anything.   I did suspect it might well be something where all you can do is crafy the query, and if DAZ' servers or SQL code chokes on it, there's not much you can do. :)

I don't know if it's helpful to report stuff we see in the wild, or if it just comes off as nagging... Which I certainly don't want.  I can't possibly say enough good things about this plugin. :)

What you could do as a workaround, is use the wishlist categories. You sort your wishlisted items into groups, such as "characters," "hair," "environment," etc. Then go to your wishlist each morning, sort by % off, and filter by your own categories. This method does not use the "view these artists together" link, it uses your wishlist directly. This is not exactly what you described, but the closest to it that I could think of that already works now.

  • I have "total spent and total value owned" selected in the add-on. When I go to my orders I only see Full Price Value and Current Value. Any idea why?

The "total spent" is calculated in real-time. You have to wait a little. The percentage will show you where the calculation currently is.

  • Hello,

After an email with Ati, I noticed that although I used the same email, the caps were different (one was illysDAZ, the other illysdaz) .. once they were both the same as the original email, it worked like a charm on this machine. I did not realize caps were that important.

    Ati ROCKS!

This add on is great! :D

    I have 2 problems:

    • I've turned on the gallery notifications by mistake...how do I turn them off? I've logged in in the extension, but at "manage items, gallery notifications" there's nothing!
    • I can't see the total spent and value of my account in "order history".

Does somebody know how to solve thess problems? Thanks! :D

Set it to "Off," and either do a manual sync from your wishlist page, or wait until your data get synced automatically (if you have that turned on, which I always suggest you do).

That is turned off by default. Enable that feature by checking its checkbox on the options page. If you have it enabled, then disable, and re-enable. Then head over to the orders page to see the totals.

I downloaded a utility (which is apparently the one in this thread) that shows discounts in red of the stuff in your cart, and can do various other things including do something with the wishlist.  Well, anyway, I thought I had installed it right since there's not much to it, but now I keep getting a popup every single time I go forward or backward viewing pages, and it won't let me click on anything til I click OK.  Sometimes the thumbs on pages won't even load til I click OK on the popup.  And it also does it in the forums It's extremely annoying. I don't have any idea how to fix it.

    Image attached of popup.

    Thx.

"This means that the email and/or passcode you entered on the options page of the addon is not correct. Enter the correct data on the options page, so the addon can sync your wishlist. (If you no longer have the passcode, click the "Forgot your passcode?" link and follow the instructions.)"

Remember: it's NOT your Daz login data! (Never give us your Daz login details!) It's the numeric code you received when you signed up for the notifications.

Ok, I just told it to give me another passcode. Just waiting for the email.

It's still giving me the popup.  How do I uninstall it?  I use Chrome.

The easiest thing to do is to just delete the email address and the passcode entirely. Just delete them, leave both fields completely empty (no spaces, or any other characters in them!), click Save (it will bring up the popup one more time, just click okay on that), and you're done. It will no longer try to sync. Of course, this means that your data will not be updated from this point on, and our systems will use outdated information for your notifications.

To remove the extension completely, right-click on its icon, and from the dropdown menu, choose "Remove from Chrome..." Remember that the notifications you've already set up will still be in effect, even after you uninstall the extension. You will have to unsubscribe from the notifications manually if you no longer wish to receive them. (There's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every e-mail we send.)

I want to start with a clean slate so I can give it another go.  It provides lots of great info.

Thank you for your answer, I had already set those settings before asking! :'(

Have you synced your wishlist after these changes? (Either manually from the wishlist page, or by having auto update enabled, and adding/removing something to your wishlist.) If you have, then please send me your email address in a private message so I can check what's going on. (And you don't have another browser where you still have this turned on, right?)

Ops, I missed that part! Now I've synced it manually, but I've not understood how to automatically synced it. Anyway, in the last period I had added some items to the wishlist. Right now I still don't see the "account value" etcetera on the "orders" page, so I guess it didn't work

This is my main browser, but once I installed Daz Deals on another browser and then I uninstalled it from there. I'll send you my email address, thank you! :D

I would love a way to know what things use all those freebie textures DAZ gave away,

yes I did once add them alll to wishlist painfully but got sick of so much stuff there

but if one goes on sale ever it would be nice to know its something you own a texture for already say some way of detecting addons you own

That feature is in the next release, coming soon. You'll be able to filter to just items that are requirements to what you already have or to items that are addons to what you already have.

I have put categories in the comments of my wishlist, but I can't figure out how to filter by them. Did I do something wrong? I"m in Waterfox/Firefox, is it not available there?
