I would have thought so as well but I'm constantly finding items I've already purchased when I click on the wishlist email links
None today but yesterday there were 3
That's different. We're talking about the wishlist on the Daz site.
As for the emails, you need to sync your wishlist with the notification server. Either do it manually after each purchase and when you put stuff on your wishlist (or delete from it); or even better, enable automatic sync, which will automatically sync your wishlist and owned items to the server, and personalize the daily emails according to the always fresh data.
Have done that and when the Items on my wishlist on sale email comes in there are usually some items that I have already bought in the list some of them from years ago
On the addon options page (click on the addon's icon in the browser) -> Email notifications tab -> Allow automatic update. Is this option checked? If so, is the date of the last update (shown below the checkbox) a fresh one?
Is it possible that the item in question is in fact in your wishlist, even though you bought it, like in Miss Bad Wolf's, Overdrawn's, and Richard's case?
Yes that's the problem they tend to be items that I bought after putting them on my wishlist and then buying when they came on sale
I've searched through my wish list for some and found and removed a couple but it's a slow go because of the size and there not being any search function
I checked the options everything looked good but just to be on the safe side I redid everything as I saw one that I wanted to add anyway
Ah, okay. So it is, in fact, the same thing as mentioned before. You are getting that notification because the item is on your wishlist.
Yep and they're a real PITA to find and remove given the size ofmy wishlist
Truthfully I shouldn't have let it get so bloody big
When searching my wishlist, which is very long due to lack of funds, I scoll down until the whole thing is in view on the page. (I have a nice Logitch Performance MX mouse and it scrolls freely, really fast - so glad I have this mouse! Best one I've ever had!) Then I just use the Ctrl+F search function in the browser. Works for me. Of course, that's if you know what you're searching for and at least part of it's name, which I'd think would be the case with your searches.
Dana
Searching for "purchased" will highlight and jump to all the ones you already have. (Uncheck "hide items I own" first, so all wishlisted items are shown.)
Edit wrong thread. Oops my bad
Any chance of a Safari versoion?
Any chance of a Safari version?
Is Safari the native browser for Mac? I do not have a Mac and have not had one since I was a kid.
FIrst of all what a fantastic plug-in. Thank you very much for your hard work.
I have a request to hide a text that is typed into a text box. ie. I want to hide ALL items with "texture" for example because I cannot stand how I accidentally add textures to products that I don't own into my cart.
Thank you very much.
Thank you.
OMG, I feel like a PROFESSIONAL Daz-aholic, now! Thank you so much for using your time to create these :-) The wishlisting function alone is fabulous, and everything else is pure icing on the cake. Makes Daz suddenly as shoppable as some other sites which shall remain nameless...
The total spent and current value are not showing up in Chrome Version 70.0.3538.110 (Official Build) (64-bit). I have Daz Deals 2.3.0 and I have the option checkmarked. It is working in Firefox.
Try disabling that feature in the options page, and enabling it again. It should work, I just tested with the same version.
That worked, thanks.
Silly question.
Firefox is telling me that there hasn't been an update to the Daz Deals plugin since July. Is this indeed the case?
Just want to make sure I didn't miss out on the latest update or something...
That could be true for the frontend (the browser plugin itself). The backend was last updated two days ago. :) So you should be good.
"Hide PC+ items" doesn't sem to be working any more, is there a thing I need to reload?
That's a simple link, just like opening a new page. Except, sometimes the browser doesn't open it, just changes the URL. It's really strange because the same browser sometimes reloads it as it should and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, then press the reload button in the browser. The address bar should already have the link to the items without PC+, so a reload will give you the correct set of items if simply clicking the link doesn't.
What are the timescales for the two price history modes? Weeks? Months?
One month, and one year. If you move the mouse over the lines, it'll show you the dates.
Doh! Thanks, that's even clearer since new products have shorter histories.
And while I'm posting anyway, thank you so much for this plug-in. I really appreciate the combination of features--I wishlist items and categorize them with slightly above their historical low price, and being more clear about just how long ago the historical low price was will let me choose a target price more usefully.
What does this mean?
Entered mail & passcode
What settings in wishlist am I supposed to update? It just has blue “update wishlist labels” button
Tried creating labels “#props” , “#utilities” -- etc. All that does is come up under notes. It’s supposed to sort that way? That would be very useful.
FF recently updated. Messed things up? Just reinstall & request new code? Would it do that if same e-mail?
Sorry if sound clueless. : )
99% chance that the email and passcode pair is incorrect. Click "Forgot your passcode?" and follow the instructions. When you have the code, enter it again.
After you added the notes, and saved them, scroll down to the bottom of the wishlist page, and click the blue "Update wishlist labels" button (above the page numbers). This saves the labels on the current page. If you modified labels on multiple pages, be sure to click this button on all of these pages.
Reloading the wishlist after this will allow you to filter the wishlist to only list items with a certain label.
Thanks for quick reply. For some reason mail wasn't in database?
Sign up again & working again now.
Nice to be able to sort by category!
best

You may have accidentally clicked the unsubscribe link in the email. That deletes you from the database. (Or if an address bounces for multiple days, then I may delete it, but there was no such problem in the last few days/weeks.) If that happens, you can just sign up again, and get a new code.
... like you did now. :) I'm glad it's working again.
