Most likely it's Installed\Vegetation\Grass 18.
Horo - once again an awesome landscape
Thanks, the materials and sky are from a new product from Horo and David that I'm playing with. I don't think it's in the store yet.
@slepalex, mermaid010: Thanks for the clarification. Then we will be able soon to buy Horo and David's product, I hope :-)
I played around with material. The model is from Daz3D, the materials are Bryce materials but amended. The wood is a modification of an wood texture from the library, the metall has a bump texture from a photo. The concrete was created by Dave. (Who I missed in this forum for quite a time. Hope he is doing well.)
mermaid - thank you.
Electro-Elvis - great scissors render. Material is spot on. I also miss Dave Savage.
Electro-elvis: Very nice scissor render. Indeed, it's a pity David is not so active on this forum anymore.
Electro-Elvis : lovely scissor render.
Howdy all, brand new forum member, long time Bryce user. Here's a 'Hopper' scene file from a 2004 project, enjoy.
Electro-Elvis - lovely scissor render.
Hpairpower - welcome to the forum, that's one beautiful render awesome reflections.
hpairpower: Very welcome to our forum. And what a great way to enter. Fantastic render of marvelous model; hope to see much more of your works!
hpairpower - welcome to these forums. Super cool model and render.
Trying to add a creek into the crevices and add some fog.
Horo - great render, you succeeded with the creek, nice terrain material and lighting.
A Render using a 3D Cloud Slab from David and Horo’s new product Object Clouds 2D and 3D.
The terrain material is from https://www.bryce-tutorials.info/shop/bryce-7-1-pro-terrain-stacking/
Looking at the work of mermaid010, I remembered that a few years ago I created such a cloud and decided to create a similar work:
The truth is only WIP. Comments and advice are welcome. And also, I do not know how to name this work.
Horo: well done creek. Too much water for so high up in the mountains maybe, but looks very good.
Mermaid: Nice set of clouds. Maybe they would even look better when a bit less dark at the bottom.
Slepalex: Funny to see very similar clouds. I like the empty landscape very much. The clouds provide a lot of depth. The stony work is also very nice. The first one could be called 'the plains' and the second one 'the menhir' (due to the stone in the middle).
mermaid - thank you. Very nice scene.
Slepalex - nice sky over the flat land. The second is also very nice, I particularly like the rock at right.
Hansmar - thank you. Yes, a bit much of water but there was probably a heavy downpour considering the cloudy sky. Nevertheless, it was an interesting (and extremely fiddly) experiment.
Thanks Hansmar and Horo
Slepalex - both your renders are awesome, I miss your normal vegetation in the 1st one.
The clouds, in your second image, Slepalex, aren't what catches this one's eye, but the rock shadows do - are super (the clouds are actually a distraction).
Jay
Thank you. But first I wanted to show the clouds. But then I thought that it was indecent to show an empty land and for half an hour made this landscape.
Another landscape with stacked terrains and pre-rendered volume clouds on a sphere. Ambient light and sky colour from a CSD (clear sky dome) HDRI.
I run into a problem and it took a while to figure out what's going on. If positive terrains are grouped, holes can appear. No problem if the terrains are neutral and grouped. For the two creeks I created two negative terrains and groupped them with the three stacked ones. That caused the problem.
I had to create the two negative "cutter" terrains for each of the three main terrains and group each positive main terrain with two negative "cutters" separately.
Cameo.
Modeled in Wings 3D last year.
Paleolithic Venus.
Modeled in Wings 3D last year.
Slepalex - great models. The Paleolithic Venus looks incredibly real - like the ones I've seen long ago in Malta - though I saw it in a temple, not in a museum. If I ignore the low resolution backdrop, I'd say it's a photograph. The stone material is without flaw.
Thank you Horo. This is just a test render. It was necessary to remove the background altogether.
Here's another render:
Horo- nice experiments with the creeks, the materials and lighting work together perfectly. Does the line across the scene in the 2nd render refer to the holes you mentioned?
Slepalex – great models and renders.
Experimenting with lighting and materials again using Sphere Dome Light, a random Bryce sky, 2 stacked terrains the upper one has a transparent material, and the lower one a rocky material and water material has anisotropy, 1st render Regular with Boost Light and Reflection Correction 1hr 12mins; 2nd render Premium 9Rpps, TA, Blurry Reflections, Boost Light and Reflection Correction 2hr17min. Awaiting your comments and suggestions.
mermaid010, you undoubtedly achieve certain success. Both images are beautiful. Although, Blurry Reflections in this case is superfluous. It is better to make a small ripple on the water.
Thanks Slepalex for the comment and suggestion.
Slepalex - even though the indoor backdrop is low resolution, I prefer that render because the material on the Venus is spot on.
mermaid - thank you. Yes the horizontal line. Below, I used simple materials and sky, and moved down one stacked terrain. Now there are two lines and the upper one shows the sky (camera is a bit higher).
Very nice scenes. I agree with Slepalex. If you increase the light a bit, the first render will also get a bit brighter.
Thanks Horo for the comment, suggestion and further explanation about your render.
hpairpower : marvelous model.
Horo : All your landscape renders are amazing.
mermaid010 : Awesome clouds render and 2 beautiful landscapes.
Slepalex : your landscape renders are very nice, I like the cameo and the Venus renders are well done as well.
