test to see if i can get big images

    Yes, you can cheeky wink

  • test to see if i can get big images

    Big and beautiful =D

  • The package is almost ready for testing. The only problem I'm having right now is the hand pose and some LIE makup, I could just include the makup as a PNG file and you all can manualy apply it to an existing character.
If you are reading this, and you are interested in downloading my work, send me a message privately and I’ll get you the files as soon as they are ready.
    Don’t be shy.
    I’ve titled this package, Witch_Queen
This is a test package; I have made these things as practice and for learning purposes.
I need some testers to check if I’m making things that will load and work on other computers.
This Witch_Queen package will never be sold or mass distributed.
This is a learning project only.
If you find any technical problems, distortions, bad geometry, surface errors, any problems I want to know about (it/them) so in the future I’ll be able to make better things.
If you accept the offer to check my work you may keep the files on your computer and make renders and share them publicly.
All I ask is that you do not redistribute any of these files from this package in any form, not the figures I’ve made, not the surface settings I’m using, not even the textures or morphs.

Take the time you need..... smiley.  It's up to you what you wanna include of course, but I'm always curious about shader settings. So even if I wouldn't use it for the hair, I might still learn something from it.....

Now included in the package, I made a Witcher style bottle and used that shader on it, I've included three colors, called them, Noonwraith, Moonwraith, and Drowner.

A 1st quick loading and rendering test..... her highness is not amused cheeky

A bit of an extreme pose; no adjustments done to the outfit to correct for this. Texture used for 'Adda' is from Arabella 7

Looks great! Hope you enjoy! If anyone else wants this send me a private message and I'll get you a copy. THis will not be sold or put on ShareCG. I never could get the hand pose to work right, dont know why? The boot/feet pose worked great for me though. Her morph, I made her scaled down so she is five feet tall  like the reference. I noticed when loading some full body poses from other content creators sets she would expand back up to 100% scale, I think this is something to do with the data in the saved pose files, not something on my end? Don't know though. Another thing I should have done was add in a smoothing modifier to the boots and skirt. It's easy to do on your own though, I would tell the boots to colie with Genesis 3 and the skirt to collide with the boots. The smoothing on the skirt will fix wierd squar distortions on leg movemnts between the thighs. The smoothing modifier on the boots will fix any pokethroughs, when the leg is bent she's getting a pokethrough on the leg calf muscle; screen shot of smoothing modifier added to the boots. I love the full body pose you chose, it's great! It also looks like you found the hair morphs and played with them too, I added several.

cheeky just to be sure, my comment was not criticism, I just didn't take the time to adjust things for this quick 1st render. I'll do some 'real 'testing and let you know if anything comes up..... but sofar it looks good and very useful....

On a side note, the reference height may or may not be correct, the reference images were made with a straight export from the game model imported into DS. Adda is indeed much shorter in game compared to geralt, but got no clue as to what the 'real' height is.

I didn't take it as criticism. It's a good feeling seeing someone using something I made. This has been a learning exercise. I'm going to go finish up another project I started, actuall it's finished just needs to be packed and then I don't know what I'll make after that. I need to learn Iray lighting, but enjoy modeling things.

My guess is five feet would be correct. I also made it so the sword, when loaded to her at the smaller scale would be it's correct scale with the size chart I had. So, at her scaled down size she loads in at five feet and her sword when she is selected loads onto her at 3 foot 6. if you load the sword on it's own it's larger. But the intentions are for her and the sword to be working together at 5 foot and 3 foot 6. I have some measuring tools in DS.

  • I nominate Alexia Bliss to play Adda on screen. Alexia is 5'1 the woman with the pink and blone hair

A little something I worked up. Needs a more intimidating enemy but this was just a start.

And it's a good start. A bit like my style of working ..... trying, evolving. perfecting (well, I've still got some things to learn for that last bit cheekyblush )

Another try with Adda. This time with some dial twisting on Adda (set scale back to 100% and changed height/size with the body morphs available to me, Also used one of OOT's hair settings).

I guess we all know how Adda loves her Catoblepas meat, though I can't help having the feeling that's not what she's looking at here ....... wink

  • It's a really good feeling seing renders with something I made. If anyone else want's the Adda send me a message and I'll give you a link to the files. I see a pokethrough on her butt, the skirt is pushing through the dress, the dress has some morph fixes for that. Great renders and story telling from both of you, this is fun!

One of DS's mysteries, as no pokethrough was visible in the preview; will have to keep an eye out for that...... cheeky

IMO, Adda is a really good character (and one with 'character'...)

    What do you all want?

    Thinking about characters, clothing, props???

I've tried my hand at creating a Zoltan lookalike some time ago, by dial twisting: I'm sure you could a better job....

  • Zoltan could be a fun practice project. I'll check back when I'm ready to make somehting again so we can be sure he is what I'm making.

learned today the author got screwed on the game royalties.
i want to send 5 dollar directly to the author 'for love of geralt. '
been trying to figure out how all day.

mebbe enough fan love he'll allow Geralt in a witcher 4

Naah, don't think that is necessary, partly as I think the autor also screwed himself by not believing in the succes of the games back then,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
