I didn't think it was possible to run out of alcohest in Novigrad - or dwarven spirit.

Most of the ingredients you mentioned can be aquired in the skellige quests.....  There is a troll cave on of the islands that has 3 unfriendly Trolls in it. IIRC, killing them should give you 3 livers (The're also some unfriendly ones in Toussaint......)

  • Okay, worked a bit today and got the boots and gloves. I still need to work on the dress just a bit, shoulders are too pointed, underarm wrinkles are a bit to wrinkley so I'll iron those out, and I'm undecided on the wrinkles on the back of the dress I might make them stronger/pulled out a bit; we'll see. I will make a sword tomorrow. I'm going to remodel the undershorts, these are the same as I made for the Superwoman so I'm going to make something for Adda, She just needs something to avoid a wardrob malfunction. It's likely that I will attempt modeling hair. Are there any suggestions or requests? I'm keeping all UV's on the same page, saved room for the undershorts and sword. If I attempt hair it will have it's own seperate UV.

there no way to defeat those thugs in the placard 'cabaret' quest?  reloaded 3 times >.<

it upsets me they let priscilla walk by herself to fetch her dress.

level 20 now, might be able to defeat the critter in the byways quest.

bought 2 potions of clearance, thinking to max out the quen track for the fight with the blood and wine giant.  let whats his face to fight the lvl 30 drowners, while my geralt tries to swim for the hankie without getting ko'd.   then ride roach like the wind to b-line it to beauclaire.  after that its fast travel til we hit grand master levels.smiley

Yeah, I'll guess were the sleeves meet the shoulders need to be 'trimmed'down quite alot. As said before, would n't know what to suggest for extras; you've got it pretty much covered.....

Light armour for the most of the main questline. Having the 'enhancenent mod' I do start with the base 'Viper Kaer Morhen armour' (not to be confused with the Viper armour from HoS), replacing it with whatever I loot along the way until reaching lvl 17. By then I usually have aquired the diagrams for enhanced Viper K... items, which are on par with the base feline items (and superior Viper K on par with enhanced feline items and so on). After the 1st major battle I do go hunting for the wolf items and upgrades. I do wanna face the Hunt in the final battle as a 'true' Wolven warrior; kinda honouring Vesemir and reminding them  who is gonna bring them down (hey, they don't call it a ROLE PLAYING game for nothing.... wink )

Combat style focus is on 'fast attack' and 'battle trance'; for signs it is on 'quen', 'axii' and 'igni'. As for runestones and glyphs, I'll try to get as many greater ones as possible, focussing on quen, igni , armour piercing, and attack power (but not forgetting the others...)

  • This should be finished up next weekend. I did make the sword and new undershorts today and spent lots of time cleaning up UV's. The hard stuff is all over, now just setting up material zones and some light changes, pushing pulling geometry into finished shapes, I think just the sword and dress is all I have left to reshape just a little. I've got all UV's on the same page for easy texturing.

decided i'd give him the 5,000 later
shoulda seen hi face when geralt thanked him and got up to leave withoutt giving the coin. tee hee

Quen, axii and igniwink. Axii can also be used against shield bearers. The alt quen at maximum level is -for me- the most useful sign in combat.....

was expecting it to be gwent related.  i didnt hear geralt's voice in the trailer.  different style of graphics.

i did find the DLCs!  got the scavenger wolf gear, the Lurch piggies, an alternative look for Ciri, and elite crossbow.

found Dragon Age inquisition on sale.  is d/l ing like 45 gigs.  seeing Mass Andromeda on sale too, thinking about it   my xbox hd still has over 200 gbs left.

took 5 do-overs reloads, but won the high stakes gwent.

halfling had pretty much the same cards in every reload, but my geralt's hand changed.  finally had a decent hand to win.
took 2 reloads to defeat Sasha, there was no save between her hand and the fist fight with the half-elf, he was why the suggested lvl was 26.  tough fight, beat him on the 1st try, thank goodness, wouldn't have wanted to struggle defeating Sasha again.  She was nice enough to treat us out to dinner at the Kingfisher.

hate scorch cardsdevil.  finally figured out if i put one higher card susceptible to scorch, likean  8 point,  it protects all my 6 point cards on the board.

I started textures. Test on the fishnets. I'm not good at textures, I don't know why but my textures wash out the detail of my models.

Not good with texturing myself, but as I've mentioned before, depending on the mat zones, for myself I could do quite well with the various fabric/leather shaders I've got. So my hope, as an example, would be that the boots have several mat zones (laces, sole, leather ????)

Material zones are no problem, very easy to set up so I will include several options. I'm still working on this but I see the finish in the near future. Here's a sneak peak at what I did today, I just wanted to see if I could make hair, I will include this in the package.

I just wanted to see if I could make hair, I will include this in the package.

Looks good to me sofar, but hair is very tricky (and, IMO, very difficult to texture. If the hair can take nice, 'simple' textures with vertical hairstrands, then quite a few textures from existing hair models can be used....).

Hair strands are UV'd textured, but I have not UV'd and textured the cap yet.
