Looks promising indeed... Adda the white (yep, red haired in game, but as I understand white haired in the novels as a result from lifting the curse ... )
I never knew that. Not going to replay it so I looked it up. This game has so many layers and the choices you make often take a loooong time to play out before you see them results downstream.
I'm missing just about all the skills for that... never got beyond the point of making adjustments to existing shaders in DS, or do some retexturing for not too complex shapes(/uv maps)
(You don't wanna know how long it took me to even make the relative simple dome for my skydome and setup the uv-map so it would accept textures in a - for me - workable manner... )
Yep, so many choices that only to show the result - ore lack thereoff - much later. Or various options to progress in a quest. For instance, it took me a very long time before I figured out that you can actually enter the putrid groove through the sewers......
erm, putrid grOve, oops
For what I understand, to a limited degree, yes (and even more limited from 2 to 3)
Tried to play W1 several times, but the combat play in there, well, not my style. Couldn't get to grips with it.
No. Actually she's not in the novels at all.
As Geralt says in the first-ever story (which, I think, was included with the first game), she was going to be like "special needs" when the spell got lifted (since she spent most of her life as a striga, obviously; kinda like a "mowgli child"). And her hair is very much red (light red) when he lifts the curse.
The hair colour change in the novels is that of Black Rayla. Actually more than just a hair colour change.
CDPR took a number of liberties when they reintroduced characters from the books into the game.
You're welcome; glad I could be of help.
And it's just Kettu =)
There's a neutral path, though?
hi, welcome to w3
i always do the same choice with the succubus
Eskal. lol, women with horns
how to beg proj red gor a mod to fast travel to beauclair?
at lvl 14 i'm not seeing the Notice to meet the envoys. i remember seeing it on the oxenfurt board last game.
another kayless set https://www.daz3d.com/birth-of-the-wicked-bundle bruxa?
Are you guys aware a new Witcher-related game came out yesterday called Thronebreaker? Been playing ever since, starts a bit slow but gets pretty cool. Battles are completely Gwent-based.
really?? i gwent. not fair when opponent has 2 scorch cards
that could take a while.....
No large images found only small ones .... and they look different in each version of the game ....
(Just started a new try with the 1st game... sofar a little more luck, but I'm still not really happy with the combat control(s) )
remembering Adda and Geralt at the party in w1 Geralt's medallion was on the floor, humming
In easy and normal modes, you get the best timing shown for you in the form of that flaming pointer. Watching the animations also gives you good clues on when it's okay to strike.
Thanks for this confirmation, will definitely save me some money ;D
is there something i have to do to trigger the pig village?
Teaser,
no textures, not rendered, just two screen grabs
Yep, I know ; it's just a complete alien system to me as W1 is the only game I've ever played using that system. Basically used to flightsims and 1st person games (not the arcade type), although I didn't have much trouble with the controls in W2 and W3. Still, I'm in chapter II now, running back and forth in (and under) Vizima...... that's further in W1 then ever before..... (playing in easy mode to finally try to get the W1 story first hand rather then from the internet....)
Love that topology. It's not every day you see a clothing mesh that makes sense.
You're playing on the xbox, right? So not sure if it is the same. In the PC version, the 'pig' mission ("Fools Gold") was an additional mission released as downloadable content. As such it is a separate install visible in the 'downloadable content' section of the main menu. If it is installed and working, there should be 3 'friendly bandits' roasting a pig in Lurtch.
yeah xbox >.<
thanks.
I've tried exporting the model from the game, but I can't get a UV-map for it. Best I could deduce is that the sword is about 111 cm. long overall.
Edit to add:
I've got no clue as to how blender works () but it also appears as it is 2 models in one... (when I load the obj in DS it has 2 mat zones, with the pommel in an extended position on 1)
