3 cups here so far, and while I'm wide awake I also have thermonuclear indigestion. :ahhh:

Now on Tums and diet Coke.

You might want to find out if you have GURD (acid reflux). If so, a better thing to do would be get some omeprazole (generic Prilosec) and take one every day with water, one half hour before you eat. Taking all those Tums is not good for you.

What do you mean, "What happened to 9mbi?"? They're still there. I just went to their website to check.

The current issue is stress - normally, Tums sit around for a while maybe 2 a week - but the past 2 weeks have been stress city and stress destroys my digestion.

But having been to the bank and taken care of business, much stress is gone and hopefully by this weekend I'll be chilling again! Honestly, between the toe amputation, the moving, the broken foot, and the IRS I've had a mega-stress overload! :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

At least now that I can walk some, I can do gentle hiking on the Barton Creek Trail near Ladybird Lake.. very relaxing! Plus hang out at Bikinis for wings and beer and watch the pretty co-eds waltz past in their oh-so-skimpy dresses!

I'm being spectacularly paranoid - walk slow, no moving more than a quick walk, no rough terrain, no going for more than 4 blocks without resting. I have less than zero desire to end up back in the E.R. with some new issue on this thing!

The ankle brace I'm using really helps, keeps the foot from moving around too much and helps support my poor, overworked ankle (It took most of the weight for 3 months, oww).

Yeah - I expect to spend a lot of this weekend sleeping, with maybe one trip out for wings and beer - maybe. :-S

First my digestion goes, then my sleep.

A few visits - since I have no insurance, each visit is a couple of hundred dollars out of my pocket. :ahhh: The nice therapist lady gave me as much help, info, and support as she could each session but, hey, the money ran out and it was over.

I know the safest way to walk, how to properly use my cane, what to do if I over-exert it, What type of braces t use an dhow to use them, and lots of other tidbits. I swear at this point I could probably teach wound care and foot-related physical therapy! :bug:

Quitting the strip clubs will help me save up money for emergencies, and any more physical therapy I might need as I wean myself off the brace (in about 6-7 months). I'd * possibly* be well sooner if I had surgery, but that's $5500 (again, no insurance) and the list of things that can go wrong is 2 pages long! :gulp:

I'll possibly have a permanent limp (eh, so what) and might need the cane for balance for a long time.. again, eh. I bought this kick-ass hand-carved raw oak cane, it looks like a chunk of tree, lots of personality, strong, and the puppy will crush cans and shatter bottles! :snake:

I want a cane with flames up the sides, though. :-S

Taozen's programs also use Internet Explorer for the browser functions (as do a lot of things), so even if you use Firefox you should keep IE patched.

...I only have the History Manager on the notebook as I do not perform any direct downloading to the Workstation save for updating system software, drivers and utilities. Going to have to do that in small batches as 400MB at one time with my connection speed and instability would be ridiculous.

There apparently was one casualty: the scene I was working on that evening would not load and and there was an "Error reading file" message. In the log file there is a statement: "Json parser (2566945,5): Unexpected end of file in object." followed by two "*** Scene Cleared ***" statements

I also tried to open from the file itself but receivd teh saem error and whne trying to view the .png file, Windows Photo Viewer said it "...couldn't open the picture because it was damaged, corrupted or too large". Well size certainly isn't the issue as it is one of the smallest .png's in the folder.

Also, when I opened 4.6, the UI layout and appearance looked like it defaulted to the standard "out of the box" setup. Not sure how that happened.

2 days worth of work shot to heck on a scene I had been wanting to do for the last couple years but couldn't due to the processing and memory limits of my old system. Kind of bummed right now as I'm not one who enjoys going back to square one all over again.

...I need a WABAC machine so I can go back two days save a copy of the scene file that was corrupted to a USB stick and bring it back with me to reload. That was a lot of work I lost.

Sorry you lost your scene, KK. I hate when that happens. And I don't do it enough to remember to save it all the time, either.

...actually had saved it before I closed 4.6 that evening (if you don't the app asks you to do so before closing). Most likely this, and the way 4.6 started up afterwards was related in some way to the blue screen event. Once I reset the UI to the setup I originally had, I tested a couple other scene files and they open fine. Still a bit puzzled by this. Wondering if I should uninstall and reinstall the app.

...wish I knew of a way to hack the actual file and remove the offending component.
