I'm impressed, you write poetry for your products now as well? ;-)

I like it!

Actually, I've tried Opera about 10 times now and I've never been able to use it as my primary browser, it just doesn't work the way I think.
For me, having to drill down your neatly organized bookmark list would take me twice as long as just typing the name of the site. :)
I do see your point about having all of that organization just ignored and tossed on a single page with thumbnails, I'd never find what I was looking for that way.
You must not go to many sites. But...one little typo and you could end up on a malicious look-alike site. That could cause you a world of pain. Nobody is a perfect typist.
Dana
I don't go to a lot of different sites so that's a large part of it. Another part is that I tend to use the history that appears as I'm typing the site as a kind of bookmark. The final part is I tend to use search to go to sites - I'll type in the name of the site in the combined address/search bar and just go to it from the search results.
Not to say I haven't miss-typed and gotten a bogus site, though I tend to run blockers for most ads and flash as well as things like javascript only letting them through on sites I've whitelisted. That tends to minimize the impact those sites can have.
Still, I wouldn't recommend that anyone else use my system, it works for me but then it's one I've developed over the last 20+ years of being online in one form or another. Like I said, I think I'm the only person I know that doesn't use bookmarks extensively.
Complaint: For the last few days my mouse will intermittently double click when I only single click. It's driving me nuts. If it happened every time I'd think it was a setting but it only happens randomly.
...that usually does make it stronger.
I often have the cafe I go to give me two bags so my tea is proper strength. They make it too weak here in the States (both the restaurants/cafes) and tea producers. For home I buy ab brand of Irish tea which brews stronger (larger bags for one) than the American brands. A bit more expensive but the quality is worth it.
I'm one that doesn't really use favorites or bookmarks. In fact just a quick check in all the various browsers on my system shows that all still have whatever the defaults were and I had to search to find where the bookmarks were in Chrome.
Of course, I always figured I was in the minority on that since everyone else I know uses them. I do have to wonder what part of their user base they talked to that made them decide that bookmarks could be eliminated.
Oh, I take that back, just realized I do use bookmarks on my tablet and my phone since typing on those is so cumbersome.
...I'm the opposite. I hav so many I had to categorise them.
..it is here. Just made quesadillas.
Complaint: while eating them got cheeze and salsa goop all over the nice clean shirt I was wearing.
I left my chocolate in my pocket and now it is too warm. I put it into the freezer to cool them down quickly.

...hehhehheh.
I also take omeprazole 40mg. It helps quite a bit.
...also known as GastroEsophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Not fun.
Indeed, this is why I give myself enough time after eating to digest before heading to bed. With my old work schedule it bothered me periodically as I'd usually get home so late and had to be up so early (thanks to the epic commute I dealt with) I barely had enough time to catch my breath and make dinner before having to turn in. Staying up a couple hours longer only resulted in myself dragging the next day due to lack of sleep and for a while getting hooked on energy drinks just to stay coherent (fortunately kicked that habit, one of the brighter spots of my being laid off I guess).
Getting a serious "snootful" the evening before can aggravate it as well, particularly if hard drinks are involved.
I also sleep with head slightly propped up (have one of those "adjustables") which helps not only with reflux, but also promotes improved breathing.

Speaking of irritating situations, getting another attack of CLOD (CloudFlare Log Off Disease) again.
Blech, dull as dishwater today. I should enjoy it while I can!
I found a hotel in downtown Portland that's next to the MAX line - Hotel deLuxe - reasonable rates, good location. This will make it super-simple to get to/from the airport, it'll be rail!
I might have to slide my plans by a week and fly out the 17th. instead of the 10th. to cover the extra expense, but it beats a taxi or bus. Flights are easy to come by but the cheapest ones leave here way too early, argh! I don't want to be catching a 6:10AM flight out!!! :bug:
Plenty of time to sit n' think about it all, I won't have booking money until the first week of September, if all goes well. :blank:
Reminds me, got to shop on the way home and load up on cheap eats and cheap beer!
...G2F Kid Drop
Used G2F Base, Zev0's Growing Up, Thorne's G2F Head Morph Resource Kit, and Mallen Lane's V4 for G2F clone (using the Tommi for V4 skin map).
Still don't have the G2F Body/Head Morphs That will have to wait for another cheque (or sale) as they went back to the regular PC discount.
Nice! (^_^)d... is that with a UE2 and a spec light as well?
Cute! G2F looking good there, environment is excellent.

Slob! :-P Just kidding.

Time for a new mouse. That double click can cause problems, believe me.

Oh, you're right...I used an invalid acronym, GERD it is. I thought Intestinal sounded like the wrong word. :shut:

Nice one! Looks like she just nailed the perfect landing.

If you have to drink instant you could always order Starbuck VIA from Amazon (or pick it up at your local grocer). I prefer the Columbian and occasionally the French Roast but if you like a more espresso like flavor the Italian isn't bad.
You could also get a Keuring Deskpro for your desk. Again you can usually find the k-cups at your local grocer. If you catch them on sale they work out to less than 0.70 a cup which is hard to beat even out of a machine. If you have coffee deprived co-workers you could charge them $1-$2 a cup and pay for your coffee with a little extra :).
We have the Keuring and when my wife is traveling that's what I use since brewing a whole pot of coffee for just me is a waste. We got the My K-Cup reusable filter so we can use our favorite ground coffee as well which makes it even cheaper.
No complaints with my Keurig. I'm the only coffee drinker in this house and I love being able to pop in my choice of K-Cup, push the button, and a freshly brewed cup of coffee appears.
Marine Drill Sergeants get good posture results. 'Ten Hut!
...Letsee checking schedules and fares on Southwest, com: For your departure on the 17th, you can leave at 9:50AM and be in Portland at 1:40PM one stop (but with no change of plane) for 159$. The return trip still looks best with the 3:05PM departure arriving in Austin at 10:15PM (shortest layover) with a connection in Denver for 146$. Total fare: 305$ including all taxes.
...and again you get to take two bags for free which on most other carriers can be up to an additional 50$ or more each way.
Nice! (^_^)d... is that with a UE2 and a spec light as well?
...yeah, of all things, the Toon lights by 3DU which came with Jasmin.
The set is Music4U2U's Gymnasium freebie with a bit of retexturing.
Morning. Squabbling birds puffing and pecking at each other like a rowdy family reunion in the sun outside my window :)
...thanks for the comments. Been getting a lot on the Growing Up thread as well.
She really does look like a kid, not just a "Mini-Me" of an adult figure. Can't wait to try recreating Leela and her friend Tracey, however I need the G2F Body/Head morphs for more shaping control (both girls are very slight of build).
I know there is a way to transfer Genesis Classic morphs to G2F, but it still seems a bit complicated and thus easy to mess up on. Besides, my base Genesis has all the V4++ and Steph4 morphs loaded through GenX so I don't know if it might cause issues since the GenX plugin is currently incompatible (though in the revision process).

How is the electric bill with that, though. A friend of mine had a Keurig, and I learned how it's that fast...it actually keeps a cylinder of water hot all the time. That must be tough on energy. Sort of like a hot water tank vs. a tankless hot water heater.
Dana
Sounds great. I love the sounds of the birds waking up around here...there are a lot of them, all different kinds.
Dana
...all I awaken to are the sounds of nail guns and circular saws from the construction project going on nearby.
I'd even welcome a murder of crows cawing and squawking instead.

Depends on if you have it set to shut off automatically or not. When the unit is actually off it doesn't keep the water hot. It takes 4-5 minutes from the time you turn it on to be ready to brew. Once it's on then it keeps the water hot so it can brew right away.
I have ours set to shutoff after 4 hours, the longest you can set it other than no auto shut off. If I use the regular coffee pot I have it keep the warmer on for 4 hours as well so I figure it's about a wash energy wise, maybe a bit more.
So if you're only going to make 1 or 2 cups then you could just shut it off after each cup and wait the extra few minutes each time. I've done that at night when I felt like a cup of decaf.

I'm going to get one for my place, I think! It'd be nice to wake up to good coffee, I have travel mug that's bus-approved so I could sip on the way to work. :)

I'm only bringing my backpack and my tablet PC, other than that.. I'm going to wing it! :)
Expedia gets me a big discount on the hotel and flight.. I know exactly which hotel, and I'm willing to pay the extra to stay there since it's insanely easy to get everywhere.
When I finally have the money to book, I'll get more serious,. $305 isn't bad at all, and I don't mind the stopovers.
Doing some really good work KK :)
