Boss gone - will be sneaking out soon, to run my errands.

    [...]

I'll get a nice six of a local microbrew to drink tonight, on the way home - and there's a new Japanese place on the way fro the Walmart (where I put $$ on the prepaid) to the bus stop I need. That makes a good case for.. DEAD FISH ON A PLATE! :bug:

...woah, Austin's transit system is really cool if they let you eat sushi and drink beer on the bus. Here it's something like a 250$ fine and a month or two exclusion.

...oh, and sushi, lots of places in Portland to get it. heck even some of the big "supers" in town have a sushi bar. One near my neighbourood even has a wings bar.

...stupid CloudFlare is being a pain again, sending me to my account page when I try to submit a post.

I had the "My Dashboard" instead of the forums so often last night I gave up for an hour. CloudFart sucks.

I ended up getting fried chicken because the susi place wouldn't open for another 45 minutes. Fried chicken, cole slaw, and fried okra!

bus today was 8 minutes late. i wouldn't mind the bus being late but it was raining outside.

so i e-mailed one of the recruiters to ask them if the job position is still available. i haven't received a reply yet. maybe I sent my email to the wrong address. opps. i'll send my request again on Monday after i check the email address. if that doesn't work, i'll just submit my resume via the online form and then see what happens.

Home! Got a nice six-pack of Firemans 4 to compliment what I already have.

Got a cheerleader in a drive-in pic rendering right now, as a test. Should be interesting.

Just bought and downloaded "John Lee Hooker, the Definitive Collection", to add to my blues playlist. I'm good to go for the weekend!

Wow, it finished while I was writing this post! WIP render, no flying guts monster yet...

10 minutes before I head out to the bus - then the bank, Walmart, dinner, beer stop, and home!

I hope to get some more Girl6 renders in tonight, I'll probably throw the drive-in around her to get a better look at a real environment.

Blech, hot outside - I need a hat! :blank:

Hot outside, I need a hat.
Made the bus in seconds flat,
Rode to the bank and then Walmart,
    I got dinner and beer,
    Let the weekend start!

Say, Wooly does this look familiar?

    Cheesy tjohn, very cheesy

    I wish!

On the ferry in San Francisco, they served beer and wine in the evening, coffee and breakfast biscuits in the morning (espresso too). The absolute most civilized way to commute, period.

Talk of 4 firemen, and the mostly-red picture below it, made me wonder whether there was going to be a quartet of firemen with six-packs stripped to the waist, around her ;-).

If true to form for the B-Movies I grew up with, she'll outrun The Floating Gut Monster until she trips on something. Then she'll lay there screaming while the camera zooms in on her horrified face. Then it'll cut to a scene in a police station where they'll be discussing the murder and mocking the idea there is a monster on the loose.
    "What was that call, Frank?"
"Just some nut that swears he saw a monster at the Drive-In."
"Yeah, probably one of them little green men from Mars."
    They laugh.
    But little do they know...

Today's complaint: was just doing my groceries, strolling aboot, when suddenly my tummy decides that YES! In the middle of the bakery section of the store is a PERFECT moment for a massive stomach acidity attack and all that stuff which goes with it!

So I proverbially crawled to the bakery's cafe -- cold, shivering, bent, sweaty, pale, looking like death warmed over or a junkie in need of a fix. Got myself a big cup of plain water and poured some antacids to it and just went at it.

Except this time it failed to neutralize it.

The rest of the shopping tour was highly unpleasant.

Seems like my stress factor is shooting up, waaaaaay up.

ouch, eaten alive from the inside. stomach acid is powerful stuff :(
