I use to show up to work an hour early in the morning just to miss the traffic. Without traffic the drive took me just over an hour. Going home I was sitting in traffic for up to 2.5 hours
...that's what I started doing to get around the crowds. I'd leave an hour earlier than normal to head into town before the height of the "AM Crush" then sit at a cafe for a while before taking the next bus out to where I worked. The second bus was almost empty most of the time and actually almost as quick as taking the light rail tram (which was also usually crowded with people who worked the high tech firms on the far west side) since it made very few stops along the way. Couldn't do that on the way home though because pretty much all of the good cafe's in town would be closed before I got there and bus service really went to heck after 6:30/7:00PM (half hour+ waits for the line I took home)
The downside, it made for extremely long days (I'd leave the house at 5:35 and not get home until 7:30 or later) and cost me about an extra 15$ per week in coffee and tips.
..I feel the same way about crowds. Part of the reason I really disliked my long commute because I had to go through downtown and deal with overcrowded buses in the morning and evening on the segment between there and home. Sometimes in the evening they'd be so crowded, I would have to ride past my stop until things thinned out enough (because people would just stand there blocking the back door and not move even when asked politely) so I could get off. I'd then go across the street and wait for a bus heading in the other direction (which was usually empty at that time of day as everybody was heading out, instead of into town).
This is why I'm looking for a job I can bike commute to or at the very least, not have to go through town to get to.
I also rarely go to major events anymore, hate flying (it's all "cattle car" class these days unless you can afford business or first), and only go to the neighbourhood 2nd run cinema (which is a cinema/pub so seating is not as tightly crammed together as it is in the major first run theatres). I like my "space" and solitude.
Our nearest movie theater is Studio Movie Grill which is one of those theater dining places. We went there to see The Hobbit and it was great, able to get a decent burger and a beer with plenty of room to watch the movie.
They also run deals on Groupon quite often so you can get a movie ticket for $5.00 instead of the normal $10.
For me to avoid the traffic, I'd have to go in at 4:00 am...because after that, traffic heading up 24 towards Boston was heavy. It got worse around 8:00. I used to go into work for 10:00 because most started at 9:00. Even then, it was an hour one way on a good day. And it was only 40 miles from home. And there weren't many good days.

Back to basics... (N)VIATWAS drop (^_^).
Not that you can see it, but this Vickie represents the culmination of some Perl magic - she has the Pretty Base IV morphs, V4 Smiles morphs and Xameva's PerfectV4 morphs all embedded, relocated and functional. Instead of having just 50 PBMCCs, she has 99 PBMCCs (an adjustment on the basic V4 morph files), and the other morphs have been renumbered so that the V4 Smiles lie at 70-99, Xameva's at 35-69, and the PBIVs down at 01-10 or thereabouts.
Re-visiting an old Playstation game I really loved ^_^
Crash Bandicoot 2 :3
The Jungle and River levels are my favorite. Not only are they pretty, they also tend to be (At least for me) the least frustrating of the stages.
The rolling boulders and water mines can be tough, but the carnivorous plants are far from difficult.
Whatever all that means, it looks really good!

..wow, she finally has a nice smile. Good work. Way outside of my expertise.

Thank you (both) <(^_^).</p>
If you don't have them already (and you're still doing V4-based renders), I highly recommend the V4 Smiles Delight product, and/or the All Smiles Expressions for V4. Much much better smiling to be had, than the "Happy" or "MouthSmile-Simple" and "MouthSmile-Open" that are there by default (Morphs++? basic?). On the strength of the V4 smiles, I picked up the similar G2F Smiles product by the same vendor - but have yet to get into G2F.
Most of that technobabble above was required because I wanted to use all three of those products at once (Xameva's PerfectV4 morphs help perk up her butt, smooth her shoulders when lowered, feet etc - V4 Smiles for obvious reasons - and the PrettyBaseIV body morph because I wanted to get V4's waist and hips a little narrower). If you use a simpler solution (eg just Corvas' "SimpleDetails" for her shoulders), then you don't need any extra work at all (no collision between morphs).
...ahh bugger Wisconsin lost to ASU on total bonehead mistakes. Four pass interference calls which allowed ASU the advance ball deep in Wis territory (twice within a few yards shy of the goal line). But the worst was in the closing seconds, Down 32 - 30 The Defence was finally able to Keep from getting sliced up by ASU's quarterback and forced a punt. A huge play with 23 seconds left put Wisconsin on the ASU 26 easily within field goal range with about 25 seconds left. Badgers got another first down at the 16 yard line (which stops the clock) with ten seconds remaining.
OK, this is a no brainer right? Take the snap and spike the ball (considered an incomplete pass) which would stop the clock and allow the kicking unit to come on field and set up for the winning field goal (which at this distance is pretty much a "gimmie"). Well for some odd and utterly incomprehensible reason, the Wisconsin QB instead decided to "take a knee" (with no time outs left) which doesn't stop the clock. Time runs out and Wisconsin loses a game that they should have won in an absolutely embarrassing fashion.
You only kneel when you are ahead and the game is pretty much over.
ugh...
Hope my Packers play better than that tomorrow.
Such a happy Warrior! :)
Great job!

thanks. i hit the retry for live version about 5 times.
i have a chocolate frosting recipe calling for double cream ... do you think it would work with light cream?
would have to sacrifice my coffee cream to test it.
6oz semi sweet chocolate, chopped
tblsp unsalted butter
3/4 c. double cream
sounds easy to make, light cream would be less fattning, but would it stay on the cupcakes?
Rawr, long night...
Ish so ready for bed...

...very nice, possibly the last summery day we may have for the year. Awakened by thunder this morning heralding the beginning of the rainy season which will run until at least next May.
Wisconsin lost a heartbreaker against Arizona State on a totally dumb play (details above).
However Green Bay is playing much better and now ahead of Washington 24 - 0.
