You're welcome, KK. I've found something in the past year or two. I get a lot of calls on the phone (and emails) from those who've "viewed my resume" and think I'm a perfect fit for this job. It's usually an insurance salesman job. I ask them, "What exactly in my resume said that I am a good fit for this?"

...what I find almost laughable is I get referrals for Truck Driving and Nursing/Therapist jobs, "based on the qualifications found on my resume".

    ...ummm, 'scuse me...

I haven't driven in almost 35 years (shoot, I don't even have a valid licence anymore).

I have no professional licences or certifications, or for that fact, any experience in the medical field (and nothing on my resume would even hint at that).

I actually made my resume private (only viewable to those places I actually apply to) on Monster because pretty much all I was getting were contacts for insurance and other commission sales jobs. Cut the daily hits to my inbox by almost half.

...interesting side to this. During the summer after I graduated HS, I was getting all these mailers to join the Marines. Well considering the Vietnam was still going on and I had a very high lottery number the last thing I would ever consider is willfully punching my ticket to go there. Then there were the phone calls from the local recruitment office. (my school had a ban on allowing military recruiters on campus).

Well after making passing mention of this to a friend one day, he jokingly said try putting "deceased" on the reply card and send it back to them. So I did, and the funny thing is, the calls and letters stopped.

...was there a newsletter today that had a 5$ coupon code? When I checked my email this morning I there was one but now I can no longer find it.

If so I wasn't in the group that got it. The only thing I've seen today was the PA sale flyer with todays artists and products.

...that is really odd. I believe it was the one which came late last night (the same one you viewed) and it said take 5$ off on the next 20$ but when I went back to it after putting a few items in my cart, all it showed was the new releases without the coupon code.

There was an issue last weekend with some people getting a 2$ coupon and others getting a 5$ coupon. Methinks the site software is acting up again.

Well I just went to the Fast Grab page and it appears that the scrolling thing has an add for a limited time take $5 off purchase of $30 or more. Not sure what the time limit is.

Since it's on the scroller I figure it's ok to post it: PAFEST-5

I didn't get one either. I think the $2 and $5 coupons may have been attached to how much you spent during the PA Sale?

Yeah, I get the truck driver jobs, too. Let's see, back in 1972 I got my chauffeur's license one time only, thinking I might get a job driving a taxi. But that never happened and actually I'm kind of glad about that. But that certainly never got onto my resume. I actually forgot about it for a long time.

I actually think that's the only true requirement for those jobs. And even that is negotiable...I bet breathing difficulties would not stop them.

I got those, marines, navy, etc. After no replies for a long time, they suddenly started coming addressed to Miss Dana Anderson. Since I objected to the war, I let them assume that was correct...but never replied anyway. At the time, they wouldn't have taken me anyway...I had asthma.

Wow, that was a freebie way back in May...2012. I wonder if anyone ever actually installed it and tried to use it?

...bugger again a 5$ coupon but now you have to buy 30$ in stead of 20$. Used to be it was a 6$ coupon at 30$. OK, dumped the other items from my cart and just got the one I wanted. Daz and a PA lost another two sales.

I had this one played for my first wedding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJCt-4VMlms

In this glorious old church, parts of which date back to the 12th century.

Sorry can't find you a picture of the organ.

...I used to love playing this piece.

I performed it once for a wedding but at a slow and grand tempo (very large church) similar to Pierre Cochereau.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Xe3hnhtI5k

The Widor Toccata was one of the final runners up for Leela's wedding music. The Bach Sinfonia so just so grand though. In the story it is also performed with natural trumpets and tympani at St Paul's Cathedral. Her mum Meggan Grande would do nothing less for her "little one".

...this was one of the other "finalists" (again in the story, rearranged for Organ Trumpets and tympani).

For her sweetie's entrance, this was the work she picked.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sdNJ5G2In0&list=FLAYnX1egxjn_6-4qEXfhsiQ&index=19

(the girls picked each others' processional music)

...this would also make a lovely processional (apologies for the slightly out of tune instrument)

The bells are actually one of the stops on the organ.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5VMEBtg1Co&list=FLAYnX1egxjn_6-4qEXfhsiQ

...and this was a lot of fun to play.

..and here's one I always wished I could have played for a wedding (the prelude) but it would require a city block long cathedral for the entrance march (like St Paul's).

If I ever would get married (fat chance now) this is the processional I want.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fRCYSQCeSc

Maybe I should put this in the mix for Leela's wedding.
