If true to form for the B-Movies I grew up with, she'll outrun The Floating Gut Monster until she trips on something. Then she'll lay there screaming while the camera zooms in on her horrified face. Then it'll cut to a scene in a police station where they'll be discussing the murder and mocking the idea there is a monster on the loose.
    "What was that call, Frank?"
"Just some nut that swears he saw a monster at the Drive-In."
"Yeah, probably one of them little green men from Mars."
    They laugh.
    But little do they know...

If I had a kick ass machine, I'd animate that scene! :vampire: :vampire:

Today's complaint: was just doing my groceries, strolling aboot, when suddenly my tummy decides that YES! In the middle of the bakery section of the store is a PERFECT moment for a massive stomach acidity attack and all that stuff which goes with it!

So I proverbially crawled to the bakery's cafe -- cold, shivering, bent, sweaty, pale, looking like death warmed over or a junkie in need of a fix. Got myself a big cup of plain water and poured some antacids to it and just went at it.

Except this time it failed to neutralize it.

The rest of the shopping tour was highly unpleasant.

Seems like my stress factor is shooting up, waaaaaay up.

ouch, eaten alive from the inside. stomach acid is powerful stuff :(
Sorry I missed this. Hope that's better now.

trying to record a couple lines, but there's ambient noisiness, crickets and froggy choruses outside. frequent cars driving by. bubby chewing on his rawhide. the fan going. then the refrigerator kicks on. in my old band days we used to rent studio time by the hour to practice. meh. can't do that these days. production over budget, lol.
meh meh meh wahhs, i don't want to sleep without an o/n render rendering. wasting a whole night.

remember the gather node? it was one of the fun nodes.

i remember the cone. the cone wouldn't go up, then Chief would get stuck, max would wriggle out, he'd see 99, then be like, 'forgetting something'.

Go into a closet. Also, hang heavy drapes and such over windows, that'll help, keep all animals out of the room while recording, use a tight cardioid pattern mic with good side rejection.

Or rent studio time locally for an hour. Otherwise, you're going to spend serious money soundproofing.

Okay, I tried hanging drapes over Windows, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on ambient noise.

wondering if i can trade-in an old shure mic. bought the thing in '88.

tee hee - do they make like stethoscope mics? could record my heartbeat and other gurgly noises as background sounds.

Are you quite sure that didn't read 10:10?

Haven't got a clue about am or pm, but then again I don't know where reality is. Therefore I never had a grip on it to begin with.

Put the mic inside a funnel and it will be like a stethoscope :)

    I wish!

On the ferry in San Francisco, they served beer and wine in the evening, coffee and breakfast biscuits in the morning (espresso too). The absolute most civilized way to commute, period.

In Finland, we have a Beer Tram.

As to trading in the mic, you never know!

They make contact mics that could pick up your breathing and heartbeat, not cheap, though. :-S

You might wanna add some stuff to the scenery, right now it is bit too clean, if you know what I mean? Like, a candy wrapper or trash or knocked over beer bottle; potted plants in a concrete trough, trashbins, etc.

I might have some trash somewhere.. I intend to stick a car there (it IS a drive-in), I might have a dumpster.. have to search, :-S

The fog needs to be green, too. Not sure how to do that.

    Good suggestions - thanks! :)

I have that - just added it in and hid the fences. I'll seee how it looks, now it could be an abandoned drive-in! :gulp:
