Hey Spyro (or Jade, if you're watching... or anyone else who's noticed this upcoming PP2 exp 2e script mod)...

... I've just finished updating the script to handle AoA_Subsurface shaders (it just pulls the "Specular Glossiness" property if it can't find a "Glossiness" property). However, I got to thinking - would it be better to make the script detect if you're using a "non-portable" shader (ie anything except for DAZ Studio Default, HSS or UberSurface) and then refuse to run?

Currently it will generate a PP2, even if it looks lousy - it now gets through to the end without crashing, at least. Would you prefer it to come up with an error (or a warning?) - "This object uses materials which may not look all that good - do you want to continue? Y/N" ? Or do you want it to generate a PP2 at all costs (which you presumably would then hand to a Poser-person to make look nice).

    Any thoughts?

The option to Cancel out sounds good. I'm in the process of learning Poser just for mat files. So I could always go standard with High settings as a Texture option in either Program.

game of thrones is awful. it throws something shocking once in a while to relieve the boring.

Oh good, I'm not the only one that thinks this. I wasn't able to read the books either, couldn't make it past the first 60 pages before I was bored.

I saw several people at DragonCon dressed as Game of Thrones characters and I kept wanting to go up to them and say "Aren't you dead?"

The tagline for those books ought to be "Everybody Dies".

Awesome!! I hear thats a fantastic expo, if its the same one that was in Australia a while back.

Also, Sickle is listed in todays PA sale!!!

The expo was awesome! I bought a boxful of miniature replica terracotta warriors, SO wanted to get a live size replica, but since he didn't have 2000 euros of loose cash, and a way to transport it back home, we had to leave it there. Shame, it is his birthday today. ;)

    And yes, yes she is!

Hope that gets better soon. The headache, not Game of Thrones. I read they kill off a main character now and then for no particular reason. The genre isn't my cup of tea, any road.

the last 30 seconds of it was kinda kewl. who doesn't like a naked lady with baby dragons

    iz lotsa gory = depressing.

the short dude turned out to be a likable character. and the night watcher guys on the wall.

when Sean Bean is in a movie, i just assume he doesn't make it to the sequel.

Can just imagine some of the set announcements would raise a smile... "Mr Bean! Mr Bean to sound stage 2 please!..." ... "Mr Bean? ... Mr Bean to makeup please!" ... >_<.</p>

Buuut he's probably used to it by now (~_~).
