Invasion of the Body Snatchers...1978, Donald Sutherland and Jeff Goldblum and Brooke Adams. Unless you watched the original...that was in 1956 and starred Kevin McCarthy and Dana Wynters. Then in 1993 there was a sort of remake, Body Snatchers, starring Gabrielle Anwar and Meg Tilly. I never saw the original or the 1993 one.

OK, I guess I was being a knot head.

    Stained your reputation.

OT: I wonder if Spyro noticed that script update, prior to all this woodwork...

    ROFL!

My apologies. It seams I switched sleeping patterns in a night. It always seems to happen Wednesday/Thursday.

I tried it out with AoA and it fails immediately without prompting to tell it where to place files/folders.

I tried again, then twice with the same prop using HSS instead of AoA then Default. Neither worked.

Awesome!! I hear thats a fantastic expo, if its the same one that was in Australia a while back.

Also, Sickle is listed in todays PA sale!!!

The expo was awesome! I bought a boxful of miniature replica terracotta warriors, SO wanted to get a live size replica, but since he didn't have 2000 euros of loose cash, and a way to transport it back home, we had to leave it there. Shame, it is his birthday today. ;)

    And yes, yes she is!

Miniature replicas OMG that is awesome!!! I'd Love terracotta soldiers guarding my computer screen!!

You plan on selling through Daz?

I rarely visit RO anymore, its all V4 and recently Dawn. Times I visit are for props. But most of them are poser tested only. And My fav weapons prop maker has gone quiet so its rare I visit.

We'll see, I'm thinking about diddling with the Daz Horse 2, and doing something nice for the beast. I've been working on a pose set for it (covering stuff that hasn't been covered before), plus skins/morphs/extras. But, taking my time right now. Haven't been feeling well.

Hard to find classy looking old buildings that are more well suited to London instead of the States. Had to "bash" a couple from Stonemason's Urban Sprawl2 (removing signs and other props). Waiting for Ness's store to go on sale so I can pick up the Townhouses.

I think thats an excellent Idea. The poor animal seems to have gone under the radar (support wise) for quite some time now. It certainly could use some more stuff. And its a great area of the market to take up considering most PA's are busy with other areas of focus. Not to mention, your strong love for animals, I think its right up your alley :)

Gah - yes, very sorry about that (v_v)...

... if you could open up the .DSA in notepad, go to line 1006, and change "MainWdow" to "MainWindow", save it and try again? (I've updated the post, in case anyone stumbles in on it...).

(the joys of find-and-replace to get under the 30000 characters mark X).

I have one more slightly more robust version in the works (that should behave for new shaders as well), but it's not quite ready yet.

My computer's C: drive is going bad. I'm going to limit my use of 3D programs. Today I tried to load a prodcuct in DSF format in Daz Studio 3. That didn't work. I ended up unzipping the Poser (.cr2, .obj) files instead. wow, I am so used to using Daz Studio 4. lol

    ok, bye

I hope you have the resources to get a new one Starionwolf... bad harddrives will eventually lose everything on them - and that's (usually) Really Bad :(.

...I know, happened to me four years ago lost a tonne of projects (including a 110 page novella and a couple years worth of RPG and story development) because the error it occurred in the Boot sector so there is no way to recover any of the data.

    AoA exported, but also failed.

Man I wish Daz would list all issues together, rather then one issue in the script at a time lol

Actually, that just means you can't boot from it...it can still be read if you can boot from another drive, like and emergency boot disk. I've had that happen before...in fact, twice. You would have to reinstall anything that was installed to the boot drive, but retrieving data from it is a simple copy operation. In fact, sometimes you can use Norton Ghost and clone a new boot drive, with all installations in tact. That's what happened to me earlier this year when my C: drive went, it was a boot sector problem and the shop just cloned a new drive from it. I didn't lose a single installed application, or any data.

Years ago a brownout damaged the boot sector on the C: drive. At the time I was using compression software on it as well. Hard drives weren't so cheap back then. I forget the name of the application, but it was quite popular. I had an emergency boot disk that was made from that application, and was able to read the drive and run things on it, even under compression, but I couldn't boot from it.

It is a pain reinstalling everything, but at least the data can be saved.

If you have room in your box, you may be able to recover stuff if you connect it as a secondary drive. It's worth a try. I'm not sure if you're running the same OS now or not. But I think Windows can probably read drives formatted under an older OS, as long as it isn't too much older.

...at least I could recover all my finished pics and text work. Most of scene files would be useless however as they were created in Daz 1.8 - 2.3 on my old system and would result in pathname errors as the runtime setup was different than what I have on the workstation.
