If you mean you might have to drop PC membership, I thought that only applied to the Members Only Forum, not the others?
Don't the rest of the Forums only require registration?
Or maybe I just don't understand what you mean.

My complaint today is that my kitchen tap has NO pressure with Hot water... Its no more then 10 meters from the hot water tank, its literally separated by a wall to the Bathroom sink and it has excellent hot water pressure!

Any sign of a leak? If not, do you have cold water pressure at the kitchen tap?
If both temperatures appear to be low pressure, check to see if the screening filter on the end of the tap is clogged up.

I do have cold water pressure, which makes me baffled. I also believe its a separate pipe that sends the hot water to the kitchen then the Bathroom. No leaks inside, and haven't noticed any puddles outside. perhaps somehow theres a blockage somewhere, But I would have thought the pressure build up would have eroded any possible blockage

How "hard" is the water there? Other than lime build-up in the hot water pipe, I have no idea either.

OMG it was so simple it belongs in the stupid thread! SOMEONE has been putting stuff under the cupboard below the sink and the hot water tap below the sink was dialed close to closed. Funny how one will assume the worst and not consider the simple possibilities.

I have over 1000 files that I have installed with the DIM.
Now every time I want to use anything to put together a render in DS, I have no idea what the name is, or where it is.
I always find it eventually, but I spend more time running content searches than rendering.
If it wasn't for Smart Content and Content Library/Products I'd be totally lost.

DIM is magic! I cant believe I held it off so long! After a fresh install, re-installing massive amount of products fully up to date ... Wow. Would have taken me 12hrs to do manually. Now I gotta install all the Rosity stuff.

Question... Do I need M4 V4 installed to use auto fit with clothing?

Some nights you just gotta sit down and render...

    ... random facial drop...

(lesson for today people - if you turn Bump setting up too high (like 100%, -0.10 .. 0.10), you may end up with interesting self-intersecting black shadows at the corners of the lips, around the edges of the nose, and the ears. Trick to getting rid of it is to turn the bump setting back down again (v_v)...).

On Genesis? Just the Iconic Gen 4 Shapes for Genesis to get a good fit on their clothing, if I'm understanding your question.

Hey fabulous thx MFM :) Why not weld seams on object export, does it mean something other than welding verts?

<(^_^)... it's not really my work - originally the script was produced by JWAS84 and Duke533... I just cleaned up the material translation stuff to (hopefully) avoid crashing now when using it with newer shaders. I believe that ExportObj() stuff in the middle there was produced by Rob Whisenant (and nobody has been brave enough to touch it since -- "It works, don't fix it" (^_^)h).</p>

I _think_ that option might be equivalent to the "Use Bone Welds" option on the OBJ exporter settings pane... and that appears to be only activated when exporting to Poser (there is, of course, no documentation for the DzObjExporter object...). Hmm... is it worth bringing that param out to the UI? or would it be better to just wait and see if anyone complains about it?

Don't know, is a bit ambiguous so I guess if it aint broke...was just curious :)

I've found that the search in 4.6 works pretty well if you know the product name, at least for stuff from Daz. If I find I can't remember the name I've taken to firing up DIM and going to the installed products tab, sort by name, and scroll through it until something rings a bell :)

That has the advantage of being able to take you to the products readme page so you can see the picture and maybe find a file list.

I've also been slowly but surely adding metadata to all the stuff I have from elsewhere so that I can find it in the searches as well as Smart Content.

Since I occasionally participate in the Freebie challenge I'd already created a spreadsheet with product names and download links for the freebies so I can search through that to find stuff as well.

No, unlike the gen 3 sahpes the Gen 4 shapes are not required for AutoFit support (or UV sets) - they are purely the user-settable morphs. Genesis includes the Gen 4 UVs and clone shapes as it comes.

Ah cool. I assume the actual figures M4 and V4 arent needed for Auto fit to work for genesis... This time around I decided I wouldn't install Gen 4 figures, as simply I just don't use them anymore. If they are indeed needed then I'll install them of course.
