Thanks guys :)
Sorel I dunno how much I am allowed to say - but I did wait much, much longer than I normally do to make an announcement if that helps at all.
I suspect it will release before I am able to buy it, so I will be sitting here staring and dreaming about it while others get to play ^^ Still looking forward to it!
I've been trying to figure out how to eliminate white circle around iris and sclera in G8. This looks like just what doctor ordered. : ) When you have the time, can you explain a little about how Natural Eyes works?
I'm just not that familiar with add-ons.
Looks terrific so following this one for release date. : )
Thank for reading

I can see myself buying this. (Nyuck nyuck!)
There shouldn't be a white circle, unless you are applying G3 materials.
Ah. G3 iris on g8 the culprint then? Learned something today. ; )
thx
This set is so simple to use. Create your character and add your skin set of choice. Then just open up the natural eyes folder under the materials for the corresponding figure ( as Ive done seperate folders for each male and female) then click on the options. The morphs for the eyes will have a dial under the eyes - and you can dial in however much effect you want.
Barbult is right about the white ring.. however sometimes if your settings are not perfect ( like having a gloss on the iris when it shouldnt) can also give you that horrible white ring too.
Thanks.
Reason I asked was I’d tried a product that used its own UV set & required changing SSS to mono. Also added a layer in the LIE every time tweaked something. Don’t remember it having a ‘zero out’ script though. Start over, or manually remove layers. Not bashing the product-- probably just wasn’t using it correctly... :)
Yours might offer more efficient workflow and of course better eyes. :)
@Barbult
Will look into that. More tools in the tool box so to speak.
Thank you both for your patience. Back to lurking... : )
Best wishes

They are here!
I saw this just got released tonight. It's in my cart - but I want to verify that it is indeed a merchant resource? I see on the sales page and Read Me that it said it was a "resource" but didn't say it was a merchant resource, so I thought I'd better check to verify before getting it.
Yes it is a merchant resource :)
I thought so, but wanted to check in case you changed your mind since I didn't see "merchant resource". lol :) This product looks great and I'm very much looking forward to using it for both personal renders and future products! :D
Thanks Diva! Please enjoy :) Now I'll sit back and wait for pretty pictures!
I am also including optional fake reflections on my characters, because sometimes, the angle of the lighting won´t show flattering reflections, or things that you don´t want reflected are there, or sometimes there is just nothing to reflect (maybe you don´t want to use a photographic HDRI, or environments or real shaped indoor lights all the time.)
I like to concentrate on an overall good lighting for the whole character instead of working around on what is reflected in the eyes. Sometimes fake reflections look more realistic or better, than the real deal.
I guess that i am doing something wrong, because the eyes are always black as soon as i render the image. I select Genesis 8 Female first and apply the eye colour after that.
I seem to be getting loads of duplicate script errors... any clues?
Hmm.. I just donwloaded the files so I could make sure there wasnt any errors, and Im not seeing anything. Nemesis can you be more specific?
Wizard I am also unsure why yours are rendering black. Can you be more specific about what exactly you are doing?
Thank you very much for your fast reply.
I selected the complete Genisis 8 Female figure first, because i guess that it is not possible to select the eyes directly. After selecting the figure i click on the eye colour of your product and on the render button. As soon as the render starts the complete eyes are black. After rendering the image for some time the eyes look better, but they look still very strange in my opinion.
Wizard are the eyes changing color in the viewport? Are you using Iray as your rendering engine?
Hmm I didnt see the attached picture when I replied the first time. I think you may very well need to adjust your render settings. Under render settings: Progressive rendering: Set the min samples and max samples up more and see if that clears it up.
Yes, the eyes change the colour in the viewport, but they look a little strange, too. I use Iray as rendering engine.
The eyes look a little strange because they have refraction added to them. Sent you a pm Wizard :)
Just got it! It may take till end of October to play with them, but I'm really looking forward.
The eyes look very good if you wait until the render is finished, but the product requires a lot of ressources, because finishing the render took about three times longer.
Glad to hear it!! I hope it works well for your needs :)
Im glad we got that sorted wizard :)
Installed Natural eyes - loading G8M gives a duplicate error message, unistall Natural eyes message no longer occurs when loadin G8M.
Could this please be sorted.
Scorpio - I will send a message to qc about this, but it probably won't be sorted till Tuesday because of the holiday.
