Craig Ferguson? Readers' Digest? Then it must be true. :)
But watch out for the latest scam:
Baby ducklings causing distractions while their mother steals your cash.

    ...gahh frustration complaint.

Finally have the setting and lights the way I want them in the scene I'm reworking only to find a distortion in the front of the skirt on the main character which I cannot fix with the supplied morphs, smoothing or collision. The only option left is DForms but the only tutorials I can seem to find anymore are all video which are totally useless. I need a "real" step by step guide in PDF format which is a lot easier to work with when trying to figure this stuff out.

Really a pain to get all this way only to have some sort of bug in the mesh louse everything up. USing the Jersey Dress and when I posed the character, the centre portion of the lower front of the skirt bulges out unnaturally.

Is football grand final here in Melbourne today. For some reason the football final is at the Melbourne Cricket Ground just around the corner so so had to get out of the neighbourhood for a while. Somebody must have won; there were a mess of helicopters flying over like a mob of angry wasps when we got home :)

Modern Kraken is done to death in Victorian retro novelizations like for example The Doom of King Acrisius so yes I guess :>)

    ...frustration solved.

Applied the "Basic Dress" autofit selection from SickleYield's Dress Rig for G2F and the skirt now follows the pose more naturally (forgot I had that).

Screwed up the displace map around the neck I think, lotsa room to improve ;)

maybe if you merged the face and torso uv zones?

might have zone cross-talking though. i made v4's hip a separate zone, and then other vicki's i loaded copied the hip.

^-^ Is more that the values on the Torso map are'nt as well defined as I should have made them and seem to roll off to the middle of the range around the neck, have to go back and do it again erm the uv's there seem stretched as well, have to do some poking around :)

haz you played with the normal map types? the colours makes it go x y z. iz mysterious business.

The colours control the height of the bump, how much to scale the geometry in the direction of the vertex normal. Uh oh the bald Orc wants the dwarfs head :>D
    ...what, for dinner?

The trophy cabinet I think :>)

Tiki Bars are awesome. Pool side service is awesome. dreams sigh.

i missed Metallica on Colbert. doh.

is FRIDAY, oh what a nIGHT.

    i can't decide between wings and 3ds6.
would it take less time to chug away at modeling in wings?
or take the time to learn 3ds, would the road to completion even out? i bought the 3ds6 bible book. hoping it'll speed the learning curve.
still need to finish installing. argh
still need to make wm dragon wings.
still need to order the voice changer s/w.
    other stuff still need ....

that road to hell set and the scifi city kit should speed things along. yayy. :) after i finish installing 'em. doh

    doobeedoobeedubbuh
got some work to do nao
    scooby dooby doo
    where are yooo
    gotta render some villains

tee hee. decided to make a travel brochure and restaurant menus for the space station.
tourist towns usually haz the lil train to go around the parks and show visit worthy spots.

complaint - feeling abandoned by wooly

Wings is more oriented toward modelling than 3ds, unless you want to animate as well ;O

...just saw that, Have to take a closer look tomorrow. Late and running another (hopefully final) render test of my PC challenge scene.

---well so much for that, there's pokethrough all over the place that doesn't show up until the the rendering.

the real pain is I have to turn of a bunch of lights just so I can see the figure to make adjustments. OpenGL needs another update so it can display more lights than 8.

animating a conveyer belt in poser ess mind esploding.

trying to figure out what parameters saving an animated pose actually saves.
can it save a parent change?
can it save keyframes for image-map offset?

trying to figure out what parameters saving an animated pose actually saves.

you use an animation set to save out the morphs and parameters you choose. Windows > Animation Palette > Animation Sets > New

can it save a parent change?

use a constraint instead if it is available, otherwise you need two child objects and hide one until you change parents.

can it save keyframes for image-map offset?

you mean a u or v offset? If you activate the function on the material node with the key icon yes, keyframes will show up on the timeline in the animation window

a very long url that might help

PS when you save an animated pose you hit the select from animation set to save your animation set as the pose

click. tee hee i ordered the voice changer s/w. :) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000M9DOTS

sounds too good to be true.
"Superb voice changing algorithms and ultra-quiet background cancellation make it one of the cleanest-sounding voice changers available on the market. Its high-quality sound is perfect for creating voice-overs for your latest video or audio project. "

now, if only i could act. lol

scrapping everything to start over. ridiculous, yep. too much new stuff.

i needs a stop watch to time my stride. all 5' of it. foot up, to touching down to the pavement. arm up to touching the fridgerator door, 30 fps, how many frames to open the fridge door.

how many frames for a raindrop to drop> slow motion raindrop? :) raindrop bounce
