Perhaps the website has encountered some space-time distortions and has rolled back a day or so :>)

Huh? :) I've personally never liked the look of gamma correction because the colors appear overly saturated. I would think this was because most content creators design their products colors with the gamma turned off in their test renders.
I usually on the other hand always liked Gramma correction as it came with sage advice and cookies and milk. :)

...however in these cases, the progress monitor has already disappeared from the viewport (which signifies the rendering process is complete). I can perform any other function while the cursor is still spinning, such as selecting items in the viewport, changing tabs and menus, and making camera moves etc. all which are usually locked while the render engine is still calculating. It's just unnerving to see it do this.

The only way I can get rid of it is to save the scene, exit and then restart the programme.

I get this especially with large scenes with lots of objects. I always thought that since much of the rendering process is temporarily using disk space to store parts of the rendering calculations so as to not "flood" and overfill memory, the cursor spinning after the render has finished is due to those temporary files are being deleted from the HD when no longer needed - a bit of "housekeeping" going on (the HD active light is usually blinking and glowing while the cursor is still spinning). Could be that the computer can multitask this operation while you're providing new input in DS?
    I don't know, really just guessing. :)

...possibly, I have 8 processor threads to work with so it probably only takes one or two to clear the temp files once the main process is completed. I wasn't aware that Daz Studio did memory swapping. I thought only Carrara and Byrce could.

...however, it does make sense as I have a lot of reflectivity in this scene with all the DZ Fire Real Metal shaders I'm using.

I believe I shall be putting on airs today. I've never tried it before so I'll probably stink at it.

Degree, yes. Used it? Not much. Mostly just the Chemistry (I did lab work for 30+ years at a coppertop battery manufacturing company whose name I am not at liberty to divulge.
I love Monkey Flute Music. :)
And that guy behind the counter should be wearing one of these to go with that vest.

Got an email from Britney, who says she sees me as active. She said to log out and back in, and send her a screen shot if it still shows inactive for me...which it did, so I did. It is annoying. There are two things that should be free right now. But for me they are...well, right now they're not even showing up! WTF? When I clicked on New Releases, it took a while to load, then there was a momentary flash of that ClodFlare screen, then the catalog page showed up. But the new stuff I saw there last night is not there now! I wish they'd dump that damn service! It does more harm than good in my opinion.

OK, this is just weird! I opened last night's newsletter and clicked on the Outdoor Fun Set and a new page opened and it shows as free now! So I closed the page with my account and opened a new one. But it still shows me as inactive in the PC.

Excuse me, I'm going to grab that fun set while it's showing as free...

    complaint...

NO decent coffee place between work and new job location.

    McD doesn't count..

I'm going to need a bigger thermos to bring enough coffee to get me through to lunch time...

I sorted by type. Shank, two hole and four hole. I sorted some of the shank buttons. I am still working on sorting the buttons with holes in them
