Wasn't much of a challenge it seems, maybe a fun game instead? :)
Dunno if either of these were mentioned yet, but I thought of two more:
Beowulf (Ergh... ^^; )
Disney's Dinosaur
... Hmm hey, anyone around here pretty good with reptile anatomy? I'm trying to work on a critter design and is in need of some general advice o3o
Is sort of based on a few animals, but is supposed to be mostly reptilian x)
(Also looking at an eBook from 3DTotal on conceptual creature design, is helping quite a bit but hey - more advice the merrier!)
This isn't the creature I mentioned (Is someone else's) but it's relatively similar - and is also cute! :D
They can open their mouths ever so wide D:
Not great with not human anatomy, sorry, but did come across a branch of taxidermy called Rogue Taxidermy that makes fantastical creatures from parts of ordinary ones, there are a few links at that wikipedia url :|

Heheh, not interested in human anatomy anyway - humans are boring :B
We see them every day and stuff ^^
Mm well thanks for the link ^^
I'll keep browsing my pretty eBook (Which pretty much suggests the same thing - study the anatomy of like animals to what you aim on designing)
Thought of some more movies too:
Lion King (Mentioned already?)
Kimba [Questionable, since the full title is "Kimba - the WhiTe Lion]
2012
Scary Movie
[Dunno if this was a film, but I am almost positive that one of these two games had been adapted into a film relatively recently. Too lazy to fact-check :) ] Quake / Doom (Both veeery old first-person shooters)
Also I did a drawing:
(Not the critter I'm trying to design though.)
Escape From New York
Lake Placid
Alien 2
Argo
Prometheus. Oh no, haz a T
Escape from New York is on TV. Snake Pliskin is going in.
Hehe teh cute draggy redness
This was easy, one thing you can say about Australia is there are plenty of camels outback
Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters are on TV. The witches seem to be athletic but incompetent :>)
Goldfinger
Independence Day
Alien
Superman
Dark Shadows
Dana
Although it seems to have been nearly forgotten these days, Superman is not the full name of the film. :)
And Rezca, it's The Lion King. :)
This is going nowhere and anyhow how not to compose a picture XD

The first 'Aladdin' movie as well :)
There are? I didn't know that! I thought camels were only African and middle eastern. Were they brought there by colonists way back?

Dune was mentioned yes :)
Also this drawing a friend of mine did of a Titanoboa teaching a history class reminded me of two other films:
http://clazzeh.deviantart.com/art/Class-is-in-session-407026698
"Snakes on a Plane" (Apparently this titanoboa historian hates that movie xD)
and
"Anaconda"
Morning. A back to winter kinda day, gloomy grey rooftop and pavement crouched chilled under a cool south breeze outside my window :>)
