That's great news. I was hoping, but didn't see it listed with her. Whew!
Actually, I LOWERED the HD morph from 100% to 65%. I had boosted it from 55% to 65% on the image I did before the one you saw ;).
Here she is with light makeup, a smile and blonde ;). I made tiny adjustments to her face this time to suit the way I thought it should be, but it didn't change all that much...hehe.
Laurie
Laurie, you're working wonders with her! Now I'm actually reconsidering my no to her from before
They're supposed to be LIE overlays, but there's no folder for them. I suspect that it's ttime to file a ticket.
The only thing I want is the tattoo textures... to apply to my male figures.
Not sure if it worths $17.63
Thanks :). She looks so mad in all the promos...I thought I'd try and make her look a little more amicable. LOL
Laurie
OMG!!!
ITS PEGGY BUNDY FOR DAZ3D!!!!!!!!
(Sort of)...
I like her. Purchased the base model, the other bundles are rarely of interest to me. Once agan though, Daz, I have to knock several points off of the score for having a breast sculpt that is difficult to give a natural look to. Otherwise, I think shes great!
Oh, that is wonderful! (and I must say that even the balloon boobs fit the character type )
We've sent in a query on the tattoos.
I think Ethel is a good older figure maybe a bit older then Sydney but close.

Being in my late 50's I tend to gravitate to the older figures nowdays. But I have to say that Sydney looks like many of the ladies in my bike club yet maybe with a few less tats and less revealing clothing. But you can put Ethel in the same outfit and some L.I.E. tats
What an educational thread! I'd never heard of Susan Powter (thanks @nonesuch00)---seems she was born in Sydney too---nor Mercedes Martinez (thanks @Derry'sWork) I think both were references. Thanks @ANGELREAPER1972 for the outfit I.D. (and yay!, I've already got it!). Thanks, @Cybersox for the spray tan demographics. Thanks @AllenArt for all the demo renders and for the secret of de-oranging Daz Core skin sans Altern8 (though I love Altern8 too!). Hey sapat, but some people (like me) don't want dragons on their dresses, and pencil eyebrows may look ridiculous, but NO eyebrows often look monstrous.
Yay Sydney! I met the Love of my life in Sydney (taken from English mispronunciation of French "Saint Denis" [sohn dah NEE]); so, I'm highly partial to that name. Thanks Daz, for giving us another interesting type! Thanks, also, for the ultra-uber HD. Pro Bundle outfits are mostly useless to me, for the most part, but it balances out with the free stuff (which for me is slim pickings). All I need now is Daz Infant 8, and I can retire/demote Baby for Genesis, which has gone bye-bye from the store.
Does anybody know this outfit from Alabama's promos?
Quite nice - there she goes onto the wishlist - than you. :) Yes, I think I could easily see either of them riding Harleys with my inlaws :)
A new zip should be available shortly, I am told.
Couldn't you either make small adjustments to the textures in Photoshop (or your equivalent) - which would be the old school way - or, I think with the way Studio handles textures now, you could also add a tint in the surfaces tab, right? By making small adjustments to the diffuse / base or translucency color settings? But I'm still getting up to speed on Studio, maybe that's not right.
Not saying you should have to buy a character you don't like - but if you liked the shape and wanted a different skin tone, that would be the easy way, right?
You guys have really never seen this look? I've seen it almost everywhere, from New Jersy to Florida to California to Idaho... It's very middle class American for boomers.
Love that product. :) Well, Products, I guess. :)
I did not get the HD add-on. However, I do not have this problem upon dailing out any of the Sydney morphs.
Almost every pro bundle is at least half things I wouldn't choose on my own. I think they should do all "pro" bundles kind of the way they did the bonus incentives on this one - $XX in products on list A, $XX in productson list B, $XX on products in list C - or even make all the list categories together and say however many dollars on the whole list.
I can honestly say I'd have purchased every single pro bundle if that were the case. But, then, I don't generally look at characters in terms of wheter I personally like them or find them attractive, I look at them in terms of "Can I see this character (or any reasonable variation of them) cast in any role I'm likely to render?"
I also really wish I knew what they were going on to detirmine which purchases make discounts on which.
Now there's an interesting bit of history I did not know...!
Yeah I was way off though it was mouse skin during the Georgian period.
Thanks Richard.
Here is my Sydney 8 test. Again, there is no post-render work except for the addition of the names.
You can see the larger version here: https://www.deviantart.com/renderguyny/art/Sydney-8-Test-Large-781295216
I think it's this one: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-duchess-dress-for-genesis-3-and-8-females
Lovely older woman character. :)
Here she is "out of the box" but with her "Translucency Medium" setting.
I used Altern8 on her in this one:
I think it's cool to get age diversity with these characters. She's that age that rarely gets created as a character - older, but not "granny" with a walker age.
Her skin has some nice detail "out of the box". :) I like that her morph isn't highly stylized nor overly "perfect". And her slightly larger nose is charming, imo, and gives a nice touch to the character. So many characters often look like they've had nose jobs. lol :) I like Sydney's more natural face.
I wish people would stop posting their renders of Sydney! I was plannng to give her a miss, but now I'm wavering....
Thanks, @MelanieL. I missed that one.
Alabama is quite a beauty, no surprise here!
Sydney looks fine to me. She's totally an average to above average looking gal. Not ugly at all to me.
