Playing with my new DS9 airlock set, Do you guys like?

    Looks good, Rduda.

On another subject, who needs Poser Pro 2014 anyway?

    I do.

    As do I.

    I do too!

Lovin' every minute I can spend with it!!

Then maybe one of you can explain to me why, on a custom built system- a system that's in better shape now than it was a year ago, it continued to hang and crash. Why, on a second HDD with a clean install of Windows 7 and Pro 2014- and nothing else, the program hung and crashed the day after I brought the comp home from the shop?
I'm glad it works for you guys, I just want to know why it refuses to work for me.

What kind of video card are you using?

I have it saved as a Poser Prop, a lot like a lot of Matty's ships so I am guessing it won't be an isue for you?

As Madison chided me, it's about time I started making a comic!

All these years, I've been building sets for the goal of making a CGI animated 'remaster' of the animated episode "The Time Trap." Well, for the past couple months, I've been experimenting with PP's toon rendering, mostly to try to help out Kail Tescar, who has the Star Trek Animated website, and I've finally gotten to the point that I'm ready to try it out for myself; I decided, the animation is still the goal, but, hey, a comic book is really a storyboard, too, right? ;) Plus, making a comic means I'm not limited to recorded dialog or specific beats for the action, so this might actually be a chance to flesh it out a little ;).

I've found that I actually get better results by not using the toon nodes at all, but instead making all the materials grayscale, by plugging the texture maps into the 'value' channels instead of the 'color' channels. Light it brightly, render it with 'medium pen' outlines, and it makes a pretty nice b/w comic! ;). (Of course, I'm making it more of a "blue and white" comic ;)).

Fantastic. I'm *really* looking forward to this. What character style are you going with, Chip 'n' Cookie, or more realistic toons?

If I can achieve this level of quality consistently (and I need to do some more experimentation, not to mention trying to cook up a reasonable Lt. Arex! ;)), I'm going to try to use naturalistic figures.

no, I have a lot of matty's ships as well, so prop is fine.

Thanks every one on the DS9 comments, I got a lot done last night in small details. There is a lot to do here, but it's a fun project. I'll post more Picts tonight.

Took a break from the Generation Beyond work and started on a uniform we've all seen but no one has tackled as a freebie. Well here ya go.

This will be for the v4 bodysuit.

The original image can be found here http://douglasshuler.deviantart.com/art/Captain-Talon-151383840

I'll try to get it as close as possible.

The suit is looking great Paul! Can't wait to get my hands on it to work my magic on it.

Here is a test render of George Haze's Generation Beyond Tricorder, this is the Poser version and Paul has been trying out the DS version. I am going to love this prop, it works great and has a left and right pose for both V4 and M4.

    Almost ready for prime time!

Should be coming out sometime this weekend. Just need to finish making a DAZ Studio runtime with needed settings while Roy finishes up the Poser runtime with settings.

Other colours are Green, Purple and White.

This will be for the V4 Bodysuit.

I would think the helm and nav station chairs would be a little uncomfortable if used for a long period of time.
