Oh yes ... there are some nice skins incl. morphs in Fastgrab atm.

And in case anybody has missed this, at least temporarily, I have a turbo lift, a hallway and a couple of tutorials posted over in my DA Gallery.

    Cheers.

Read both halves. I thought it was kind of rushed. Just "hello- Good-bye" and that was it. They could have done a lot more with it.

Trying to spice up a bridge, not sure if it works.

    Suggestions?

Looks great, I do feel its kind of shiny (only issue is the time it takes to render). but of course, the overall look of the ship should reflect the mission.

Oh the pointing again. They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do? Assemble a cabinet at them?

No, they're not screwdrivers... I just thought someone would like to use them as a Phaser alternative weapons.

I created them with primitives and they only have material zones on them ( ie. very rough) I'm hoping to make these my very first freebie so I'm trying to finish them up before I post them up. This is a static prop (no morphs), the regular force lance which supposedly can be lengthened to the longer tonfa baton, and staff.

Before I do, I'll want to assemble a cabinet.

Paul, I think the main issue with the bridge is the colors. Grey and blueish grey gives far too little contrasts, even when mixed with a light tan color.

For the main floor, try a moss green or dark green, maybe a wood texture in the circle on the floor beneath the captain's chair. That'll liven up the image for sure?

Oh COOL!!! Starfleet is issuing ASP's to the away teams now! Who needs a phaser when you can do a common peroneal strike! Now this is a prop that would be awesome! I can see it now ... A group of highly trained Starfleet Security Officers wading into a penal colony uprising and dragging the ringleaders to the hole ... or at least Starfleets version of it.

Anyone looking for a new ship to render.

Follow this link: http://www.deviantart.com/messages/#/art/Beautiful-and-Deadly-215352342?hf=1 then click on the link in the write up to the download site.

I don't know the format and will have to futz with it for a conversion.

I'll ask the creator of the ship if it can be added to the list, later today if a obj format can be made.

This prop is of the Andromeda Ascendent Force-Lance. (Gene Roddenberry's other TV show)

I created this as 3 static props from primatives ... The regular forcelance, the baton, and staff. Its used a both an energy and physical melee weapon. There are material zone so you can personalize it.

This is my first freebie so I hope people can make use of this. I made this in Poser, but I'm including the OBJ so people can import into other programs.

    Heads up...

On RNDA is a nice "air duct" prop (by Evil Innocence) which can easily be adapted for your star ship renders.

    Almost ready for prime time!

Should be coming out sometime this weekend. Just need to finish making a DAZ Studio runtime with needed settings while Roy finishes up the Poser runtime with settings.

Other colours are Green, Purple and White.

This will be for the V4 Bodysuit.

    What division does purple represent?

I hold you folks accountable for diverting my attention from other things and wanting to play ;) which is a good thing.
There are some great resources and people in this thread, so while I finish up my first proper Trek inspired piece, I just wanna say thanks.

A few more finishing touches needed on the lighting/shadows and the Gorn-like fellas, etc, but this is what you inspired me to throw together last night.

the promo image uniforms are from a few of us over here at the forum.

The men's uniform textures are mine. (before I knew how to make transmaps so the color ring goes all around the neck.)
a few of the women's uniform textures are from Dopefish,
and the last one is from Mylochka's collection.

Looks like we're getting our stuff out there for people to use.

Congrats on the other two for getting your stuff made and seen.

Hey Jag I love the concept of the holo controls and the whole bridge you have here has a really cool minimalist look to it. I look forward to seeing how this goes. Is this a Generation Beyond design?

New prop... Klingon PainStik (TNG period )- based on images from the web.

Again, this is a simple static prop, materials mapped. Included will be the OBJ file so you can import to other programs.

    Comments welcomed.

Question of practicality: What if the holographic projectors get knocked out? How do you access your systems then?
