My latest w.i.p., Benjamin Lafayette Sisko.

I'll be releasing this as a freebie soon (along with Kira and maybe Odo) after a few more touch-ups.

Whooe! Thats nice, I better hurry with my sets!

    That's what I wanted to hear! ;)

blubeetle 3 nice sisco would you be up to doing a morph for warf as well?

I think he means Worf. :)

Yes, Worf is in the future. Right now, I'm putting the final touches on Sisko and started working on Jadzia Dax.
...Which brings me to this: does anyone know of a good hair to use for Dax. Right now I'm using mylocka's Romulan Commander hair 2. It's a pulled-back look with that nice poof at the hairline that Jadzia had. Unfortunately, no ponytail.

Also, in case anyone's wondering about the girl in the promo art above, she's a 'slightly' tweaked version of Maddelirium's "MDD Rhona", available over at the Big-R competition.

Another View of the USS Thor's bridge Changed the color of the dentist chairs . Sorry Paul I still like them.

What is the origin point of the control holograms?

Have you considered expanding on the hologram idea for the remainder of the bridge, to make it seem like the bridge officers are immersed in space, like an Astometrics lab?

I updated my Force-Lance so it is now one prop with morphs to change modes (ie. Default, Baton, Asp, and Staff). I am offering it as a Phaser-Alternative weapon.

To be blunt, I didn't really like the 3 static props idea and wanted to fix it.

Please review the readme. Hope you find use for it. Thanks!

Does anyone know if there is a model of the USS Prometheus that is in its three separate parts? I thought there was one, but I can't find it anywhere, so I'm thinking maybe I was mistaken.

TOS Textures? The whole purpose for the set was for a TNG based look of the TOS bridge. Since it just came out, be the first to have them!

I'm still futzing with the JJ-Bridge to have a Generation Beyond look.

I know - I like the redesigned look of the bridge - I thought it would be cool to use as part of a midlife refit.

The Bridge9 is the one from the ST:TMP, perhaps this would do for what you're looking for..

It's in there, as a LightWave model named "USS Prometheus". Good news, it's all-in-one and in pieces, so you can separate into the three individual ships if you want. Not so good news, you need something that can read LightWave .lws scene files, because there's only one engine nacelle object (the scene adds four in the right positions) and the "greeblies" object has the details (bridge, lifeboat hatches, phaser strips, etc.) for all three parts fitted together. Looks very nice, but needs a bit of work before it could be imported into D|S or Poser.

Thank you, Rshulte and SpottedKitty. I got the Prometheus now. I still thought there was a version that was split into the three parts that was usable in Daz Studio, I remember using it. Oh, well. I'm constantly putting the crew I created in different time periods because I can't decide which one I want them in. I was thinking of putting them aboard a ship like the Prometheus. I can't decide.

On a side note, I know this isn't Trek related, but, anyone else having problems getting into Daz? When I use IE, I constantly get a page that says that Daz is currently down, or something like that, due to a problem with The Cloud unable to access the website. This only happens wihen I try to go to Daz. So far with Chrome, no problem, yet.

Got the new set, it's nice, well laid out, a bit of a shock for the small viewer but then TOS didn't exactly have a 58inch flat screen either.

But...there is a but....the captain's chair doesn't turn, no swivel. it needs a swivel and maybe an up and down. Every chair in the set can turn, move or even be removed from the set.

Rduda, can an update be made to make the Captain's chair swivel? Not letting the captain turn his chair to face the science station and speak to his trusted first officer for the 'dire' moment of scientific clarity is needed. For me at least.

    Other than that.

THANK YOU SIR! THIS SET IS AWESOME!

Agreed, fantastic.... I have also notice the Captain chair does not rotate in Poser.

I see Starship Bridge 15 has been released.

Does anyone know if there is a set of TOS textures for it?

Interesting bridge, but I think it misses one of the principal functional design elements of TOS: the alcove design of every workstation is not practical for the captain to have an unhindered view of the ship's status.

When I really started to think about the original bridge, it hit me what Matt was trying to do with all those big overhead screens - they were poorly placed for the operators at the workstations, but they were perfect for allowing the captain to turn around and have access to the important activity of each station. The alcoves make it hard to see those screens for the captain, and they appear to also be ergonomically unkind to the operators, as well - too much neck craning to use them.

If I were to redesign the OS bridge in any functional way, I would convert all those little square screens just above the consoles to operator-centric displays, with a wider aspect ratio (similar to these, in fact).

Oh, and I agree, that captain's chair needs to turn ;). It's an interesting model, to be sure, but I'd honestly rather see it as a Klingon or Romulan bridge ;). And I agree that the chairs look really uncomfortable.

If you can export the chair .obj file out of D/S [don't weld it], then check and keep just the chair parts in Hexagon, export that back out. Then import it into D/S, technically speaking you might be able to make a .cr2 swivel with it. Not one of the sets I have and certainly any such work could not be redistributable.

HU - Generation 3 shape morphs for Genesis in Fastgrab! One of the packages is a bundle so check it first before buying all the separates ;-) Aside from the obvious making Genesis to have the basic shape of one's fav older figures, it also provides the auto-fit thingies to help make the old clothes fit the new figure. However it's been my observation that it is better to simply work an .obj file out of the older stuff and make the clothing "new". Many of the really old clothing files have broken mesh and honestly could use some updating so for the "new", why not eh.

I think it's a great bridge design with a lot of potential. Certainly better than anything I could pull off. When my budget allows, I'm getting it, especially since I asked for it to be made available.

I'm not knocking the set, It's a great set,

But I would just like to see this captain's chair able to swivel since it's a tribute set to the the TOS era sets.

As for the chair here, it's a static creation and part of the sets foundation obj. Rduda often makes the captain's chair part of the sets primary foundation. I tried removal of the captain's chair for the 1701-D bridge set so to raise it up on a pedistal with stairs to give it a MU effect and look was difficult.

Even going the 'removal' of the textures isn't truly an option since, if I recall right, two or three of the textures have an impact on other parts of the set.
