    System recovery update...

    As ya'll know, I had a multiple system crash. Now that I've started the process of recovery. I'm finding....wow, I really lost a lot of custom morphs!

    But dang is this fun recreating things,FYI...I've learned to re-enforce my skills and talents with morph creation (via zbrush) and general character building...but also on a humorous note, wiping my computer did kind of help motivate things...but I don't recommend my method for everyone, it's a bit extreme.

    For you DAZ Studio users....that 'data' file in your content folder....it should be backed up too!

    And now for show and tell....This is one of my recreated characters. Princess Tana of the Orion Syndicate.

    Her skin has been modified with !Ubersurface Base. With a custom setting to give a slight shine.

    I know some people don't like the waxy look but for this comic and Orion's in general I think it works. Opinions?

    You know I understand missing ebots, the forum is well know for that, but how do you get unsubscribed to the thread? I have followed the Star Trek forum back when it was the old forum and now I am getting mysteriously unsubscibed? Anyone else dealing with this problem?

    No, they are Sketchup models I converted to 3ds.... I'm hoping to contact the people who created them for permission to poserize them.

    Until then, you can use Sketchup to convert.

    NOTE: Once the Sketchup free period is ended, you will need to upgrade to regain the 3ds and obj exports feature (expensive), or you can just continue to use Sketchup to convert to DAE format and use Blender to convert to either 3ds or obj.

    That is one great looking suit! i really like the texture work you have done on this.

    Thanks! I'm hoping to finish this and a V4 version (with instructions for components) for down load. as with my response to Scatha, I hope to get permission to provide an obj for the rifles.

    other items in progress:
    Holster for the force-lance,
    Uniform textures for the Andromeda "High Guard" M4 Valiant and V4 Couragous
    Bodysuit M4 and V4 uniform for STO TNG era.

    For the moment I am running on a linux rig, until I can get my Graphics comp replaced... it died a horrible dead. Fortunately I managed to save the drives.

    Sad part is... sketchup has something against linux...


    I caved today and got the starship bridge 15 and Sotherland set...

    Shadowhawk, I know how you feel, I subscribed to this thread and the thread from 3DWizard for the new suit he's making, I got unsubscribed from both...

    Just a little cross over render she would be very handy for those away missions where you have to disguise yourself as some pre-indusrial type

    1) Female Star Trek Hazard suit (using X3d HEVS V4 Armor)

    2) And an Andromeda Ascendant "High Guard" uniform with V4 Courageous (there are 3 texture sets) (M4 Valiant also gets one)
    I added my holster for the Force lance. If I get enough interest on the High Guard Uniform, I'll post it.

    "I just can't seem to get any work done."

    Truth is I've recovered or remade some of my morphs. including the one for the A3 dress.

    Just thought I'd share my excitement of getting things back to normal.

    Test render of my version of the STO M4 Bodysuit (can also be used for Generation Beyond). I hope to create a bump map for this.

    Will move to V4 soon.

    And now the V4 version of the body suit.... For each of the bodysuits (M4 and V4), I created a trans map for the neck.

    The textures works well for the V4 bodysuit styles (ie leotard, and shirtless bodysuit) for greater flexibility.

    Comments welcomed...

    Attached is another STO Bodysuit texture for M4 (Black for Section 31) I added an option to change the Turtlenecks for both the V4 and M4 bodysuit to black, each also retains the trans map to expose the throat.

    Colors as per ST Online and ST:TNG:
    Black - Section 31
    Olive - Marine, alt Captain
    White - Medical, Alt Flag officer
    Blue - Science/medical alt
    Lt Blue - Science
    Teal - Medical
    Green - Shuttle/Fighter Pilot
    Red - Command
    Mustard - Engineering, Security

    Additionally I added another render of the Commonwealth High Guard uniform from Andromeda... This uses M4 Valiant.

    My force-lance holster "sucks" so I'll have to redo it.

    Yes she does, V4 gets the same colored body suit options as M4....

    I like the options you have picked, and off the top of my head can't come up with any different ones right now. I am really looking forward to getting my hands on the suit. It will be a great addition to the Star Trek line up.
