Here is a texture add on for the the V4 courageous and the M4 Valiant sets that are meant to be a companion piece for the set done by my brother Paul for the Genesis Defiant set. You can download this set on my DA site http://fav.me/d7epx9j These suits were designed for a time after Star Trek Nemesis and to coincide with the David Mack Destiny series of books about the federation and their fight with the Typhon pact. There is also a comm badge set made by George Haze and listed here in the freebies or can be found at ShareCG.

    Thank you so much!

More than welcome. As Paul and I work on suits I will be creating the poser instal files for those that use poser or DS3+ to make things easier for everyone.

Hey shadowhawk1, do you still have that Poser version of the USS Phobos? I've been wanting a Poser version of that ship ever since mattymanx started doing ship conversions. Sadly, he's stopped, and the Phobos never got converted.

Little OT for the Season, hope all who want this grab it while it's still free for all.

Well, if we're doing OT posts - maybe the "spin" on this could be a holodeck adventure gone wrong?

As Madison chided me, it's about time I started making a comic!

All these years, I've been building sets for the goal of making a CGI animated 'remaster' of the animated episode "The Time Trap." Well, for the past couple months, I've been experimenting with PP's toon rendering, mostly to try to help out Kail Tescar, who has the Star Trek Animated website, and I've finally gotten to the point that I'm ready to try it out for myself; I decided, the animation is still the goal, but, hey, a comic book is really a storyboard, too, right? ;) Plus, making a comic means I'm not limited to recorded dialog or specific beats for the action, so this might actually be a chance to flesh it out a little ;).

I've found that I actually get better results by not using the toon nodes at all, but instead making all the materials grayscale, by plugging the texture maps into the 'value' channels instead of the 'color' channels. Light it brightly, render it with 'medium pen' outlines, and it makes a pretty nice b/w comic! ;). (Of course, I'm making it more of a "blue and white" comic ;)).

Hey Nightwolf, I just sent you a response in regards to this at DA, if you send me a note on DA I can work with you on this.

Thanks for the compliment on the uniform Jag. I love the look of your ship, it has a great melding of past with the round warp nacelles and future with the diamond wedge saucer section, and I love the Romulan influence with the warp nacelle mounts. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it is completed.

Glad it works for someone. After a year of hanging and crashing on two different HDDs, I gave up on it.

Then maybe one of you can explain to me why, on a custom built system- a system that's in better shape now than it was a year ago, it continued to hang and crash. Why, on a second HDD with a clean install of Windows 7 and Pro 2014- and nothing else, the program hung and crashed the day after I brought the comp home from the shop?
I'm glad it works for you guys, I just want to know why it refuses to work for me.
