Thanks for all those new examples guys! I've been sick (and still am to a degree), so I haven't been online much in the last week.

I'd like to ask about a few specific anatomical elements and what your personal recommendations might be. To start, I really haven't found any eye moisture settings that look that realistic. My eyes have been watering the last few days, and the wet area is not nearly as large as some texture settings make it, nor is it quite as shiny under typical indoor lighting. I almost feel like the surface needs a transparency map about half its height.

Do you have any texture sets where you think eye moisture is set realistically? Thanks!

I have tried various different settings (glossy, top coat, thin wall, opacity, PBR Specular/Glossines, etc.) for the eye moisture and not come up with anything yet.  I am thinking about trying to do a geoshell and see how that comes out, but I have never done a geoshell before.  I know others use it to create a wet look on skin.  I have this product wishlisted, you may want to take a look at it too.  It is Natural Eyes for Genesis 8 and looks like it may have better options for eyes.

Never tried to change something there myself, because I never did a render so closeup this would have mattered.

Did you take a look at this thread (and the answers)? I have actually bought Natural Eyes for Genesis 8 but have never used it

I would agree with markusmatern.

What are you unhappy with, and what should it look like? A render of what you're unhappy with, and a photo (for example) or what it should look like.

I have a couple of eye products, and use them or adjust the included textures; what I find, is that generally, the reflections matter more than the exact details in the eye. Perhaps I don't go so close in?

I do have Natural Eyes and that's actually a good example of what I was talking about, in one of its promo pics, the moisture on the lower lid is waaaaay too intense. You don't have to be zoomed in close at all to see that. I was just wondering if anyone had tried a texture that had better out-of-the-box settings where it looked less like a semi-transparent metallic stripe.
