    I wish the thumbnails that came with the assets (that show up in the content library) were as nice as these!

    At the moment there is no exact specification for the grey material.

    I think I'm using a modified version of https://www.daz3d.com/clay-style-shaders-for-iray But I'm not sure 100%, because it is a shader preset I saved. The base color value however is 0.27 in all three channels in my renderings.

    The nice thing is you can decide, whether you want to keep the bump and normal maps or not. For my renderings I leave the normal and bump map in place.

    I have to say, that I have actually purchased characters based solely on the great images @markusmatern and @sisyphus1977 are posting here. They really help me decide whether a skin will be good or not. 

    As I have the daz browser add on, when they link the character to the store, I see the link and am able to come directly here which is fantastic.

    Thank you for continuing this thread Markus! Feel free to change the render setup if you like of course, maybe it would be better overall with pure white lighting (like a 3-point setup) or to show torso detail (with a small bikini so the posts aren't removed).   :)   I wish I'd known that Babina 8's body texture has permanent bikini tan lines before I bought her; it's an excellent texture but that's going to be a bit of an issue if I use her in any fantasy skimwear pics.   ;)

    As far as improvements, the chacters and morphs and body shapes are all diverse and perfect. But the genesis 8 textures seem to be lacking in "photorealness". There is a lack of detail. Looking at the post for Monique8 (one of my favs) I saw very little difference between normal/bump/hd set ups. I request more detail. Not really requesting shaders (As artists we are pretty good at expirementing, but I would definitley like to see more detail.)

    I don't want to change the light, because this would somehow "invalidate" all the already existing renders.

    I was thinking about full body shots, but think they would need to be huge for the needed details.
