Good to see a Filipeno style base character finally.
I can always use pirate stuff. It tends to kitbash splendidly.
Like the character, like the add-on characters. Like the hair, but one of them is Iray only.

What's the character in the main promo for the Naval Officer Uniform?
Also, too bad that the beard from the Volta hair set is for men only, while the hair goes both ways. Not the end of the world to fit it, but still would have been fun for a disguise.
I would expect that the beard should fit women with auto-fit, too.

Good one, Daz! (Even though I have little use for pirates). Keep doing what you've been doing this year. It's working for me. Males with good skin! Hopefully, Valentina 8's coming to say, "Bali Hai."
Yep, that would have been amazing. A full galleon, maybe not in the bundle but at least on offer. Though there are ships to be had..would be nice to see a new build 'decked' out to the nines.
This one and the bundles look like a winner to me. Great clothing, characters with great photo-real textures, and hair and beard.

And RiverSoftArt recently announced the upcoming release of Now-Crowd Billboards: Sailing the Seven Seas (shown below with upcoming Now-Crowd Conquistadors), so with an added ship you can go epic.
I like the character but have no need for pirate stuff and the deal is awful even with the extra 20% off, The same old Daz Originals that have been picked through over and over. If the 20% deal didn't require a code, I may have purchased just the character and used a PC coupon, but since this is an either or deal, I'll pass.
If you're PC+ HMS Victory is $10.47. If you got a purple banner, it can be free.
Guess it's been awhile when I wanted almost the full bundle, but didn't want the 60 dollars off DO's. The category seems to be going really empty.
But then Valention IS a beauty with decent clothes.
Maybe an Iray add-on with updated HD texture sets could have been cool. This is a beautiful piece though, bought it in a sale a loooong time ago.
Valentino 8 is really handsome, and the bundle(s) and Add-Ons look excellent. What a temptation...
The pro bundle really looks cool, but the "deal" coming with it isn't. Without a purple banner - due to not buying enough pro packs - I end up with ~ $70.- for the Pro Pack and four addons. And the classic DO items only come with the basic 30% off DO reduction, meaning those free $ 60.- give a lot less than during other Pro bundle sales, when there were additional %s off due to other sales.
So off it goes to the wishlist, where all the other Pro bundles wait that didn't came with a deal that I could afford... which means no purple banner for me in the future, too... self fulfilling prophecy it seems...

I'm not impressed by the PA characters, they are common. Asher look like Armand but he's the only one I would like to purchase.
The pirate clothes are interesting but it's not my first priority. Sci-fi first !

Well I don't recognize any inspiration for the main characters in the bundle but if you look at the The Pirate - Expressions for Genesis 8 Male and Valentino 8 the mix used there is somewhat reminiscent of Cassius Clay (and I'll even venture to spell Muhammad Ali if that's correct for that particular one): but only with the right expression. If an expression is too strong then the resemblance to Muhamad Ali is lost. I think though those renders are a mix if Darius 8 & Valentino 8, although Valentino 8 from some angle with some expressions looks similar to me, especially in the eyes..
Was NOT expecting another new Daz core character so soon after Alawa and Dasan!! I've not taken a hard looking at Valentino yet but his description mentions Spanish seas as his pirating territory so that + name suggests he's to be of Spanish/Italian lineage. His skin textures look very good! Alas, with the addons and a PC coupon applied it's still above $60 marks for me... can afford but can't justify spending at the mo! Fingers crossed can combine with another deal in the next few days and snap him up that way
Well, another all or nothing theme bundle.
While i would prefer proper sci-fi stuff, good pirate stuff is better than retro sci-fi.
The deal seems the exact same as with Alawa, but a little worst since the extra 10% on DO from honorary platinum is not available any more. Still very little difference.
Also, alawa deal only got interesting after most daz original got an extra 50% discount during another sale. AND an additional 30% discount on cart.
Speaking of that discount, with alawa it was better than the purple banner. I do not get those, but if it is the same 20% and still requires entering a code is a really bad reward.
I'll wait if later this week another deal makes this one good, if not i will save my money for the female counterpart.

The figure is okay, but pirates aren't really my thing. I will look again in the morning but I think this is the first male pro bundle I don't like. I just never have been interested in pirates.

It's the same as Alawa 8 all over again. The exact same deal, with a 20% given by a coupon so we are almost surely not going to use it.
I also have no need for pirate stuff any time soon but I like how it looks and could see myself maybe doing something with it in the future (compared to the Alawas stuff which I am sure will never interest me).
However, as you said the deal is just so bad I can't see myself picking this. Maybe if we get some more deals over the week to combine with this.
The coupon based purple banner rewards though are beginning to make me rethink their worth. If all offers are coupons now and you can't combine them anymore, not even with the PC+ coupons (I couldn't use the over 18$ one in April as any purchase over that amount will now apparently use a coupon).
My thoughts exactly. I will go though even further and say that if the offers keep remaining like this I might not purchase any pro bundles in the future.
There is nothing I need any time soon for what I'm working on at the moment and I just can't see myself spending so much money on stuff.
I think if things continue like this I will save my money (hopefully gather some store credit with some nice gc discounts) and wait for the PC+ sale in the Autumn.
