Barbult recommended this free HDRI from HDRI haven.

It is a very interesting urban scene at night by the water. I think it has a suitably hip but yet kind of mysterious. Its the modern buildings at night HDRI. I like HDRI haven because there are no strings attached to using their HDRIS.

That came out very nice! yes

Try a Dome Orientation Y value around 200. It is another nice view with nice lighting for this same HDRI. It has beautiful colorful reflections off of the water, a nice bridge, and brightly lit building windows. I posted an image over in the Now-Crowd thread.

Agent UnAwares made a refit for G8M of Aeon Soul's Everyday for G3F. Yeah, those pants are tight, but you can download  (link below) . You need to have the original outfit for the REFIT to work, no original files are of course included.

Fantastic work, and Aeon Soul always includes great undress morphs. Now... If we can get PA's to include male refits with their outfits. I would be very happy!

    Love your posing here!

Yeah Owen really looks like he’s squeezing into (or out of) that outfit.

Especially around his left thigh/hip. Nicely done.

Thanks, really think aeon soul makes some good undress morphs.

Ah I hate it when I render something and I notice a limb or a finger out of place. I think I will let it ride and do a spot render.... but ughh...

Wonderful render and post work.  Very eye catching and dynamic.  Congrats on making the gallery, well deserved!

I like the Valentines/Chippendales render too.  I know it isn't for V day but since it has a heart shaped box it could fit a V day theme.

Here's my newest one. In this scene Owen and Boyd (who is still in brain form), discover an injured or defective drone pilot.

Well it’s official Owen renders beat Boyd in the gallery. laugh Thanks for all the kind support.

Definitely. I was thinking Valentine’s Day when I rendered the heart shaped box. Holidays tend to creep up on me and I thought that looked cute. I want to do moar though. Perhaps one of the Boys will have to eat some chocolate. I haven’t tried doing an eating render yet.  I also bought an ice cream sundae set I haven’t used.

Another Day at the beach! I enjoy playing with different effects in Photoshop to achieve a retro-iish feel which I'm quite fond of.

This pose was really interesting, but I had to render it again, because I realized the pose was designed without using pose control on the neck and twisting the arm at a weird angle gave Boyd a very seriously odd shape to his right arm.

I think poses where one character is carrying the heavy weight of another character are challenging especially if it is two men. I think if I were doing this again, I'd try to have Boyd bend further back. Owen's 6 inches shorter than Boyd, but sometimes he looks bigger due to his fitness and perspective. I liked the expressions in this quite a bit. The HDRI is one of my favorites.. Its Dimension Theory's real world Maui.

You are right. That is a tough pose. I think Owen needs to settle into Boyd's hands more, so it looks like Boyd is supporting Owen's weight. Owen seems to be floating a bit.

That is excellent feedback. Yeah the sense of gravity and muscles actually flexing is a problem area with daz characters.

Okay so it is nearly February the month of love, what do ya’ll want to see rendered?

That is tough. You are more creative then me with your ideals for renders.

How about since Valentine gifts are commonly flowers and / or candy, and because it often snows in February and daffodils are often seen in the snow in February (I saw them once even in late January in snow) one of them picking daffodils in the snow for Valentine's Day gift, but only if you have both daffodils and snow shaders available in your content library though. Only problem is daffodils aren't typical Valentine's flower.

Owen and Boyd travel back in time to prevent the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre. I recently visited the Mob Museum in Las Vegas, where they have the bullet ridden wall on display. A lot of it is reconstructed.

That sounds cool. Like Sherman & Mr Peabody.

@nonesuch I  checked my runtime. And.... No daffodils. crying I like the idea though. Picking flowers in the snow would be rather cool. I'll keep an eye out, and if I find some inexpensively I will make them. Sadly since Lisa left daz we haven't gotten too many flower creators.

@barbult. Wow. Thats a challenge.  I'll have to think about that one.

How about Boyd and Owen in spacesuits recreating the sistine chapel painting? Get your Sci-Fi romance action mojo going.

Interesting. I would never have thought of doing that. And it will give me a chance to test out my new space HDRIS.

Okay, I redid this. Hopefully Owen looks more 'sunken' into Boyd's arms. Also changed the arm position. I really enjoy catching the pink light through Owen's skin whenever possible- as he's so pale he doesn't get a lot of color most of the time.

I am full of weird ideas like that. Ylu just gave me the opportunity to toss one out there.

I like that one too. It is funny & would be an interesting render visually.

Yes, he looks more like he is being carried now.

Jepe's bedding for M8! and an outfit by Dzheng.   I have to say that Dzheng really knows how to make male skimpwear garments. This is autofit from Genesis and it fit so much better than many Gen 8 outfits. Of course I can only show the front! =-) I recolored it with Metallic Leather Shaders I can't figure out where I got them, but they look really nice.

Boyd demonstrates that he now has a tongue that moves thanks to Sf-Design's Easy Tongue For Genesis 8 males. Just playing with the Photoshop, no, he has not contracted Jaundice. smiley

For some bizarre reason my guys tongues are very difficult to pose. I think maybe I raise the lips and mouth too much?

  • that looks really good. I think the difficulty in posing 3d tongues is that there aren't enought bones in them. I mean, a tongue is VERY flexible, and the amount of bend points in the tongues of these figures never seems to be enough. But that looks quite natural. I may have to pick up that product.

  • Serene NightSerene Night Posts: 17,669

Thanks! For some reason, I can't even get the tongue on either Owen or Boyd to go out of the mouth at all. I'm not sure why except that I raise the mouths up 100 percent since I think the default distance between the nose and the mouth is very low on the male figures. This morph set includes a pose to raise the tongue up and down the base. So... It now seems to actually come out in the proper way.

  • Carola OCarola O Posts: 3,823

Actually, I haven't been able to get the tongue out on the figures either, and i don't tend to raise the mouths. So I don't think it is that, more something to do with the tongue itself. That was a nice picture, it made me laugh at his attityde :)

    Too bad...

That shader does look good on that.

I never looked that closely at where the mouth was, I wonder if that's what bugs me about the males of the past two generations..
