    This is kind of silly.  It sometimes takes Daz over 2 hours to get its sales sorted out, but they hold 50-minute Flash Sales.

    Ohhh interesting--it was Daz Deals doing it, but I didn't have any filters checked to exclude stuff. It only stopped happening when I removed the extension entirely. I'll try reinstalling it, thank you for steering me in the right direction!

    OK today they are getting my money but it’s like I can’t do anything else in my life, have to stay glued to the store but the sales are worth it. I’m guessing they’re still going to do props, creatures, clothes, characters, nature, etc...?

    Same for me - the latest sale (Lights) is fantastic... a lot of the HDRIs rarely go on sale and have been on my wishlist forever.

    So there's a rash of 50-minute flash sales just as I'm going to bed? Great stuff. Not gonna be annoying at all. Crossing my fingers for a catchup-sale in 9-10 hours.

    This is....really, really poorly executed and explained.  [Goodness].  I don't care how good the sales are, I think I'm done buying from DAZ for awhile.  The 5-for-50 BANNER was still up on the site and the discounts wouldn't propagate for me.  That's truly [silly], and NOT a way to inspire confidence in the consumer base.  Thanks, DAZ.

    I think you can actually use the flash sales more than once. The Lights sale banner is still up and the sale still working, and when I tried an put some more items in my cart, they stayed at 5,00. Just for those who could use some more lights! ;-)

    It's not a coupon, which is the only thing that has limited uses.

    Same, I'm still building up my library so if the deals are great then I either have to go for it or potentially wait a year or longer. I didn't planned to buy anything today because my good will is wearing thin, but now we FINALLY have awesome PA-focused buys. Lots of wishlist stuff, lots of creators I want to support. What I don't want is to be tethered to the computer and I resent that DAZ seems to expect that.

    I had the shader selection still loading in one browser while another loaded lights, even though I'd bypassed the browser cache during a reload with both. The timing is all over the place, so you can't make an educated guess. Lights have been going for what, nearly two hours now? Shaders lasted longer, too. The banners say 50 minutes but really it's "keep interacting with the site for hours on end, it's good for our numbers." Anyone who doesn't live in the US is missing it all and there's no guarantee of an all-category catchup. If there is I can't imagine that it'll be at a reasonable time for those living outside the US since flash sales are usually a few hours at most and rarely start first thing in the DAZ day. Even if there is one posted later it'll drop at a weird hour for many people, when the US crowd who may have been at work is going to bed, and while many overseas are still asleep or at work. Also if there is one and the deal is even better, anyone who bought earlier in the day is gonna be hopping mad (including me).

    Also, whoever updated the banner did a bad job. Select lights for $5 but an extra 10% off select shaders, when that sale ended hours ago and the products have long since been removed from the category?

    Unfortunately, no more bargains to be bought seem to be forthcoming. Lights sale is still up for like what, three hours? It's past one in the morning here. Yawn. Work tomorrow. Double yawn.

    Okay, Daz - I finally bought some KA lights. Can we please move it along to the next category now?

    Or back to tutorials for a bit? I grabbed four of them earlier, but I'd build another cart with what I've found in the meantime.

    The idea of the 50-minute rotation sucks in the first place, but it's even worse with the actual amount of time not being consistent.

    I was thinking we'd cycle through each category multiple times, but at this rate... probably not.

    Some people have to go to work in 6 hours... 

    I go to sleep because the last offer will still be available in 5 hours. Generally there is no other update until Daz midnight

    LOL if you have Daz friends you can trust, they can always text you when the sale changes :) (And they won't go to a grungy truckstop and in the men's / women's bathrooms grafitti on the wall, "For a good time, call XXX-XXXX" )

    Yes, please. I was really hoping for a catchup on the tutorials which took so long to have the price right that I wasn't abl4 to get all I wanted

    That's right. Sometimes there is a catchall at the end with everything from each of the previous short flash sales, but I don't remember them ever cycling back throught the same individual sets again.

    I have seen some times when there are multiple flash sales during the day and then they all are lumped together at the end of the day for a sort of catchup; but with these low prices that is probably too much to hope for this time.

    Yes, we had a tutorial sale and a shader sale that were about 50 minutes  each and now we have a lights sale that has lasted for hours.

    I seem to recall a series of flash sales (or coupons) that repeated over the course of a day a couple months back? But I don't remember the details.

    Regardless, configuring a series of rotating flash sales seems beyond Daz at present - we appear to be stuck with the current one.

    Wonder if we'll get another round tomorrow, perhaps with new categories? Good prices, and I'm sure that I'll check the site a few times, but it's a dumb sale - I'd probably spend more if I could take my time looking at the selection and filling a cart. That's assuming I don't miss it altogether - I don't plan on spending the whole day monitoring Daz.

    I'm guessing the light sale is the last for the day, as it's been up for over 5 hours now. 

    I have to say, that the first day of the PA sale and this light sale have been the highlights for me - i'm LOVING this light sale, and could easily wipe most of the category clean LOL.

    I definitely loved the flash sales. Wish I hadn't missed the tutorial one. Spent a lot that I wouldn't have otherwise spent, so maybe I should be glad that I missed it.
