58g of sugar in a mocha frappacino, is prolly too much? the tall size has 40g.

One cube of sugar is 4 grams. 40 grams = 10 cubes of sugar. :bug: :bug:

That'd put me in the E.R. :ahhh:

Well, let's see...a serving of Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries cereal has only 11 grams of sugar! So five bowls of that is still less than the sugar in that one frappacino. I'd say that's way too much! Even my Dr. Pepper has only 40 grams of sugar in a serving!

Morning. Somewhere up there way above all the grey clouds and a (presumably) rising sun the Rosetta spacecraft matched velocity and vector with comet 67P the past few hours :)

    Tuesday complaints!

    - Lighting is a pain in the neck
    - A diner looks weird just sitting alone on a plane, nee3ds surroundings
    - Coffee is cold
    - Outdoors is hot
    - Out of beer :ahhh:
    - Need to install city blocks to use as surroundings for the diner
    - Need the giant armadillo to attack the diner

    Non-complaints:

    -Woke up :blank:

I'd like to see giant armadillo attack the diner, along with alien space fishies

I grabbed the armadillo from DAZ in my last shopping spree, so we're good to go there. Creating the SPACE TUNA is going to be more difficult as bolting spaceship wings on a tuna isn't the easiest, or prettiest,thing... :bug:

    More coffffffffffffffffffffffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :blank:

ps. had this GREAT beer last night called "Dead Armadillo" - I kid you not. Strong and tasty, but didn't taste anything like I thought an armadillo would... :smirk:

I didn't even know DAZ had an armadillo. Thanks to you, it's wishlisted. As a Texan I have it. It's our state mammal, you know. How does "Dead Armadillo" compare to the Shiners?

Yeah, being an ex-Texan an armadillo is a nice reminder of past days at Ginnys Little Longhorn Saloon, listening to Dale Watson.

Dead Armadillo isn't as smoothly drinkable as a Shiner, though both are amber beers. The Dead Armadillo is a high alcohol-per-volume beer.. 6.9 as opposed to 4-something for Shiner, so it has a more bitter alcohol aftertaste, and it's very hoppy. 2-3 is my limit before I have t change to Shiner, Heineken, or the like. But after 3, you'll be pretty happy (heh)! :bug:

    ...mmmm...hoppy beeeeerrrrrrrr

Thanks I do not think I have him or that he is on sale.

Not having g a great morning. Just got a roommate last night and that did not go well. And there goes my bus.

ah crap ! Hopes your day has improved a little by now :) And your room mate :) I was in a traffic jam in a tunnel this afternoon. Hates going down tunnels, imaginary disasters just seem to crawl out of all those little tunnel vent things every time I do
...during the recent heat wave we had (finally back in the low 80s again which i normal for this time of year) our LRT tam has to run as slow speeds so as not to damage the tacks or overhead catenary (I think the transit system needs to get it's money back for such shoddy work) Well, Monday when I was returning from an interview, it not only ran slow, but made several stops between stations including on in the deep several mile long tunnel under the West Hills. Now not sure how earthquake prone Melbourne is, but here in the Pacific Northwest we have a seismic time bomb 70 miles off the coast (the Cascadia Subduction Fault) that is ticking away. Should that slip we will experience a quake and resulting tsunami worse than the one in Japan a couple years ago. The last time it triggered a quake was in 1700 which produced a tsunami that was recorded in Japan.

I usually take a bus that goes over the hills instead, however as I wanted to get through downtown before the 5:00pm commute crush, I took the tram since it was there and ready to leave while the bus I'd usually take was on a 20 minute layover.

rant of the day: went to a certain online forum to ask about people's opinion about a certain electronic product. One guy gave a snippy remark which I didn't understand. Had to read the his next post to see this person was being sarcastic. Why are some people mean or useless when clueless newbies ask for advice?? Get off your high horse!

More info: There was a sale of portable music players where the players cost less than $100. I asked which one I should get. Person should've said that the all of them are poor quality. Instead, the poster said that "they are cheap for a reason". I'm like, yeah, what is the reason?? Are they popular or something?

Now I know why I stay on the Daz forums; people are so much nicer here.

sorry, had to get that off my chest.

edit: can't think straight because of headache.

MOST of the DAZ forums are nice. I got turned off by the snippy comments in Hexagon early on and never went back. There is no excuse for rudeness.

Spent my last $15 on a set of bone-filled catacombs and some cookware (thanks Exnem!) for Vicky's Diner. Now Vicky can chase Mike and Aiko with a frying pan!!! DDDDIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!! :ahhh: :ahhh:

...my networking lead took m to lunch yesterday (which I why I had to leave early) to a great little place in the "hood. Had a chopped steak sanny (better than any Philly cheesesteak I had) with carmelised onions and Gorgonzola which was almost buried under a heap of nice crisp (non greasy) hand cut fries. Washed it down with a couple pints of this really tasty pear cider.

Thank you all for the comments on the pic. Sent it to my Networking lead (who is working to get me in contact with various studios here in town) and he was totally floored by it.

Yeah guess sweet and wholesome isn't how they care to represent themselves. Pity, I think she would have smoked all the other contestants in the formal and talent competitions. Top prizes included GCs, PoserPro 2014, and for for first place, 500$ cold hard cash.

I wish they had a mechanism for feedback like challenges here, Fantasy Attic, and the Daz Creative Challenge Group on DA have

I haven't delved into the tutorials that I've gotten from Fugazzi, but he seems to get through to the end of a project in Hexagon, so I'm hoping that when I do start in, I have the same luck.

Don't talk like that! Rather, have a talk with the new roommate and try to find out why she doesn't seem to like you. After all, you just met. Perhaps it's just a bad first impression, or maybe it's something someone else told her that might not be true.

    ...new roommate issues?

That is why I gave up shared living situations years ago, though as I understand in your case you do not have that choice. As Dana suggests, sit down and have a talk with her no matter how uncomfortable it may feel at first.

...in a similar vein, no matter how old or crotchety I become, I will never live in one of those managed "seniors" communities where they force you into a lifestyle they "think" you will enjoy.

Love the old Brit Com Waiting For God, I'd be very much like the lead character Diana were I in one of those places.

Alright I will try to think better. I do not know how to get along with her but I will try not to cause strife.
