sigh. some days writing trance doesn't wanna cooperate. half the day is gone.

Slept half the day away, was only going to snooze for another 5 after the alarm went off

setting alarm on a non-work day? does not compute

Meh traffic everywhere and I had to cross town, lucky the driver knew his way around and the trip took 20 rather than 60 minutes longer. That is a non complaint :)

Sigh, content money spent. Some shaders, couple of things for Vicky's Diner.

Spending is so much easier when you have a project, if it isn't useful for Vicky's Diner, it doesn't get bought. I will make an exception for Olaf-ready items, or for Night Wings book cover art, or for album/track art (although most of my album/track art is 2D work).

Spherical Light for city scenes, InaneGlory's table lamps for indoor scenes,. and DG Shaders for, well, everything. :blank: Still wnt the floor lamps for indoors, as well.

Don't need more writing books (have over 30), don't need more music gear (over 15 synthesizers and 200 effects loaded into my music software), don't need more software (happy with Wings, DS4.6, PS CS2, Scrivener, Jutoh, Tracktion, Cakewalk SONAR).

BUT I'M DOWN TO 2 BEERS AT HOME, OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMGOOGOGOGOGOGOG HELP MEEEE!!!

    :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

Will go out tonight, but beer shopping is Priority #1 for tomorrow! :gulp:

Need to think about TCN (Trinity College of Necromancy) next. And need to put some WIPs up in my Blogger site for Viky's Diner. :)

    BEER!

    no beer at home :ahhh:

put in for a grocery delivery for tomorrow, don't have to go out this weekend. can stay home and type and wait for puppies to come out and smoochie.

bit awkward. i have a commander kracken's field team in my story, but now that i'm adding kracken tentacles, sounds goofy now.
need a name to tippoff the character is nasty.

Appropriate character names are tough. For general side characters, it's easy - I have a book of baby names I bought and I pick a few at random. For fantasy names I go to foreign names, they can sound exotic and still have meaning.

Hero characters, though.. who ever heard of an evil villain called Bob or George? :blank:

At least the Night Wings heroine is Rachel DeLacroix, so no more occult porn novella (lol)! :bug:

More free sammiches and pickles.. omg.. skipping dinner tonight..!

ps. puppy smoochies nice, so are puppy huggles! :)

    "I am Larry! Fear me!"

-said the teeny weeny kitten. :)

are ships with man names, like Harry and Michael, still referred to as she?

"The Mary Rose was an early 16th century English carrack or "great ship". Although the pride of the English fleet she accidentally sank during the battle of the Solent, 19 July 1545."
sank accidentally? how does a ship accidentally sink?

i'm starting to not trust wiki-pages for facts.
