This is why I keep telling people to either cook the turkey or glue an Apple AirTag or some other tracking device onto the birds... They don't respect suggestions on where where to stay... But regardless, I'd check local bars, tattoo parlors or pool halls as these are common places to find turkeys hanging out.

They are soooo useless. Altice Cable keeps having ads for News12 saying "As local as news gets" which besides sounding pretty stupid and vague, I'm guessing if you are going by whatever they are probably trying to imply, that should mean they are on top of local news events...?

CNN has actually covered things that occurred out here quicker than they do... like a couple of years ago there was a big fire that took out a bunch of boats and a big marina's docks nearby and I actually saw it in real time on TV in a local dinner... News12 nothing.
There was a huge brush fire a few years back that sent up a huge column of smoke visible from the next county... they sorta mentioned it on the evening news. CNN covered it an hour later.
So apparently today at around 11:30 am or so there was a huge explosion on Fox island in the Great South Bay... it was heard and felt on the other side of the island as far as twenty miles away... it shook my house and I actually figured it was either F-35s going supersonic over the bay or there was a bad truck accident nearby...
Fox island is a nature preserve or parkland only accessible by boat... there is nothing there that should explode unless the seagulls are testing weapons for their upcoming war on the humans... So this is kinda concerning... on social media lots of people posted pictures of the smoke cloud (more like a big dissipated mushroom cloud) and the police have acknowledged they are investigating... but News 12?... "Megh... something happened we don't know what, but we'll let know know if we remember to check... Hey, did you see the snow flurry this morning!?!... we sent Dave to some guy's house to interview him about the snow that melted instantly 12 hours ago!... News 12 Yeah!"
Holy fudgenuggets they are useless.
So to make matters worse, on the north side of the island (the explosion was on the south shore by me) there was an incident near Port Jefferson, where an emotionally disturbed individual barricaded themselves in their home and was/is armed... apparently a local warning to that (small) town's residents was supposed to be sent out advising them to "Shelter in place and avoid doors and windows due to police activities"... instead of issuing the warning locally, some nincompoop sent the warning to the entire county... half of Long Island.
So now you have thousands of people wondering what the hell blew up and now anyone signed up to receive safety alerts received "shelter in place" warnings...
Guess what's happening on social media?
We found out what we know because my daughter's friend is a volunteer ambulance dispatcher in another town, but the news didn't fix that and no update or correctional message was issued.
So now you have rumors flying around unfettered and probably hundreds or thousands of people are expecting Martian War Machines to arrive any moment... gah... the stupidity.
It kinda sucks that in a day and age when instant accurate information is available, we are still pretty much on the threshold of 1982 most of the time.

I think I know what happened to your turkey. Mine all the suddden doubled in size and ended up with a huge one. I musta bought it's relative.
It is entirely possible your turkey took your sketch pad and ran off to Paris to sell charming sketches of the Eiffel Tower at the art stalls along the Seine... or he took it to draw out various diagrams illustrating his plans to extract revenge on mankind.
This horror story will inevitably end with the plans for the destruction of mankind being sold as an NFT.

I just love it how male characters are considerered nonexistant here. It's just so......I have no words anymore.

I hadn't considered that... but it makes sense... back in the 90s there was a movie called "The Arrival", where aliens were using extra polluting power plants to raise the earth's temperature using greenhouse gases as a way of terraforming the earth to make it like their home world...
But here we'll have fascist alien turkeys posing as Wall Street investors and using the greed and avarice of the Cryptobros to do their dirty work for them to raise the planet's temperature...
I admit I hadn't seen that one coming... but it makes total sense...
You lull humanity into thinking turkeys are harmless dumb birds who just want to get drunk, play lotto and be eaten... just by introducing a genetically manipulated dumb subspecies of turkey as part of the nefarious plan... meanwhile you get some disguises, pose as venture capitalists looking for a big score and convince some greedy humans that an incredibly unstable, inefficient and dumb form of virtual money is the wave of the future... lean heavily on fear of missing out, and you got yourself a whole new planet for basically the cost of a few high end suits and some sunglasses.

You can have "feasances" and "neurofibrils"... I hardly use those words anymore... I think you can have "yattering" too, I think I used that once in like twenty years, it's just sitting there in my brain with dust and bat droppings collecting on it... I'll dust it off first though, I'm not a barbarian you know... I keep getting mistaken for one, but I never paid the dues and it's really an exclusive organization with a lot of rules.

I found the perfect way to find paper cuts on my hand by using hand sanitizer.
Lemon juice also works for this purpose.

I bit the bullet and arranged for a newer, bigger power supply and a new motherboard for my "GreatUncleBear" computer.

Poor ancient GreatUncle. Originally he was a Vista machine. I rescued him from the trash many years ago when one of my customers decided to upgrade to a new machine instead of fixing the old one. Yeah, he only had a 10mb/s LAN, and only 4GB of RAM, but at the time that was acceptible. And actually it was his LAN that was broken (lightning via the telephone lines) [another reason for an UPS with both power and phoneline surge protection]. I brought him home, gave him a new 10/100 Mb/s LAN card, and he served for a couple of years as the office computer for the local small airport, before he was retired to the shelf.
Apparently before donating him (temporarily) to the airport, I'd replaced his motherboard with one on hand that had 8GB capacity, and replaced the HD with a "Corsair: MX500 500GB SSD" and upgraded to Win8.1. That helped a little with his sluggishness. However, after he returned to me I installed Win10 which made him even slower. Yeah, it works, but sooooo..., sloooooowwwww...
So, he went back on the shelf (actually he was my bedroom computer, though rarely used). 
Back to the present: GreatUncle is annoyingly slow, but he does have an SSD, a decent case and could have a 2nd life in this decade with just a little push. Considering that I still have that AMD: Ryzen5-1400 CPU that I just replaced with a Ryzen5-5600G in BabyBear. And that I have a spare 16GB (2x8GB) of Corsair: Vengeance LPX 3200 RAM just begging to have a new home. And I already have a Win10 license that can be applied to a new motherboard. GrandUncle is about to go through a major makeover. New motherboard is an Amazon BlackFriday $50 bargain, "Asus: Prime A320M-K" AMD motherboard.

Yeah, a little dated, and bottom of the "300" pile, but perfectly fine for modern frustrationless home or office use.
Replacing the Motherboard, CPU, & RAM will be adequate, but possibly underpowered. Accordingly, I also ordered a Corsair: RM650x 650w power supply to replace the EVGA-500w PS in BabyBear. The removed 500w PS from BabyBear will be transfered to GrandUncle replacing the 12 year old generic 250w
PS he currently has.
Yeah, pretty sure that after checking specs for the HP a6500f computer tower it seems that I did replace his motherboard sometime in the past because it doesn't match the catalog specs. Yeah, now that I think of it I had a used motherboard with an LGA-775 socket (for the Intel Pentium Dual Core E222 CPU that originally came with the HP system) and swapped it out many years ago, that's how it ended up with 8GB of RAM which is double what the original motherboard could use. Ancient history, long forgotten.
Sometime in the past, the system also has had a 2-port USB3.0 interface card and an "N" WiFi card installed. The original DVD drive uses PATA connectors, but I've ordered the conversion adapter for use in the SATA system that the new motherboard brings with it. The 2-port USB3 card can go back into stock because the new motherboard has it integrated. Finally, the Ryzen5-1400 CPU doesn't have integrated graphics, but I also have on-hand either a GT-730 or a GT-1030 graphics card. I'm all set. Wheee...
Yeah, yeah, I know, it will probably never do hardware IRAY rendering but I don't expect it to.
Yet, if someday someone wanted to, it will have enough power and functionality to handle at least a standard (non-OC), small (2-fan), RTX-3060. Space and cooling probably being the limiting factors.
The result will be a quite modern, zippy, hungry for work, mid quality computer for home or business use, in an antique looking case.
With all the new, quality parts it should be of non-frustrating use for at least 6 or 7 years.
TLDR: Summary: For about $150 I'll have created a machine equivalent or better than an out-of-the-catalog system costing about $700. But only because I had some of the parts on hand.

Complaint I was told my home didn't pass inspection because of dust on the tv and dust on a bed that isn't being used. It seems to be an impossible thing to pass if just a little dust can fail the inspection?
i forgot to see if the any clothes for male genesis were on sale during Black Friday sale. Ah, I guess I'll wait for the December holiday sale to go shopping at the Daz Store.
I got a headache. I took a pain killer 2 hours ago. I also took a nap as I think I was told to nap. The headache isn't gone but I don't want to sleep anymore.
...ah, so far Giving Tuesday hasn't been the disaster I expected it to be. Didn't wake up to find 200 - 300 emails in my inbox, most of which solicit donations (particularly given the upcoming midterms). Looks like the array of filters I spent time to create worked well.
Still have that headache but I don't know what to do?
Complaint: I finally saw the HD grand piano and the HD violin in the 60% off carousel...had to go out to do some things, came back, put them in the cart...and they show a higher price! Also put a hair in there, but that price remained the same. But, the two instruments were in my wishlist for a while. Disappointing. Not clicking on Check Out.

Pain killers don't usually help with the ordinary headache. They only really work on tension headaches, mostly migraines. You need regular Ibupropian, Tylanol, Motrin, Asprin and such.
