No I don't have a RAM tester. I tested one stick at a time and ran at least one full pass of the latest free version of "MemTest86" booted from a USB thumbdrive. I was lucky and the first stick I tested failed almost immediately. I let it run through the full pass and it found 150+ errors (where one is considered fatal) so I was pretty sure that was the culprit. But I tested the other half of that pair in its original slot and it tested OK. So I reasoned that I had a good stick and a good slot so I moved the good stick to the slot that the bad stick had been in and it tested OK so I now had a good stick and two good slots. I then removed that stick and put the bad one back into a known good slot and it failed as expected. Confident now that only one of the lighted RAM sticks was bad, I tested the other two slots and the two non-lighted sticks at the same time, and they were OK. So, it is just the one RGB stick that's bad, but since they come in pairs I thought it best to remove both of them and use the good one for bench testing or wimpy machines needing only 8GB.
Oh, and I was testing at base speed of 2133. Not the overclocked rated speed of 2666. So, if it was going to work, it should have worked at that low speed.
Note: (I'm not sure, but I believe the warranty is expired on those RAMs. But I'll check.)
'Nother Note: Wheee..., the RAM sticks (Corsair: 2x8GB "Vengeance Pro" 2666), according to the info on the box, says (in all caps) that the RAM is "BACKED BY A LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY". I know all about limited lifetimes, because I have one myself. But I don't believe I'm warranteed. Regardless, I now have at least a little hope of getting some measure of satisfaction for my faulty memory purchased back in May.

My long term is great. My short term is only good for about 23-48 hrs. Still waiting for my appointment to go over my brain MRI. At least I know they verified I had one.
With some people you just can't tell if they have brains, even if they're talking. The Scarecrow got it right when he said this:

No... No, I did not... Of course if the package contained something that could talk, like a clown or sentient octopus, that's something else...
Still, I wouldn't go by an octopus' word as they are very unreliable in estimating travel time... or time travel either.

ROFL! If it was a back MRI I could read it myself and the images. I've had so many of them I know all the lingo for that and what to look for on the MRI. I tried reading the report from this MRI and thought WTH is that. I hate when they do tests and not give you results till your next appointment which was a month and a couple weeks away. So gotta wait till the 23rd to talk with her.

At least I think that's what they are saying.
Well, if they're going to assign a gender to the Multiverse why couldn't they have "women-branes"?

Complaint: Not feeling well today. Started last night about this time. Headache, backpain, neck pain, stomach pain. Hardly got 3 hours of sleep last night, terribly uncomfortable & fidgety. Today started out with major headache but a couple of Tylenol eased it for a while. Spent most of the day in my recliner chair under my wool Afghan granny-blanket trying to keep from shivering. I did manage to get another couple hours of sleep. But, now my headache is back as is my neck and back pain. Although I did manage to dump most of my stomach problems (the normal way) during the day but I'm still not 100% stomach-wise.
I know I'm sick when I resort to eating Chicken Noodle Soup.
I hope I'm not coming down with what's goin' 'round.
Non-complaint: My MommaBear computer is behaving correctly now, but still with only 16GB RAM. No more failures to shutdown or other weird behavior. Apparently Corsair will replace my bad RAM but with a pre-owned one since it's been more than 30 days since purchase. But the warranty office is only open Monday thru Friday.
I don't feel well. I think I'm on my cycle, which would be two weeks late. I hate being on my cycle.
Anyway Other news is I'm trying to figure out how to keep my aquarium filter cartridges clean. I do feed my fish and they don't leave anything uneaten if they can help it. Most of my aquarium issues are with fish poop and algae.
I'm guessing it's a bicycle and not a unicycle, but either way if you are not feeling well you really shouldn't be on either one... even a motorcycle for that matter... But I can understand your determination if it's two weeks late, you might want to try it out before you can't return it... I'm guessing that's what was in the talking package?...
Generally bikes don't talk... just snarky robot Trans Ams... but those have four wheels...
I'm wondering... If a bicycle is a "bike", is a unicycle a "unike"?... it should be... I move that we make this so.

About the aquarium filter, the best way to keep the filter clean is to either not feed the fish or to hook it up to a budgie cage instead...
Usually fish poop and algae are the biggest issues with keeping pet fish... unless you have piranhas, then there are other things to deal with.
When I worked at a pet store in high school, a customer used to complain that her cat would pee and poop in the fish tank if she left the cover open... cats are real jerks sometimes, but apparently cats like peeing and pooping into water, it's probably a predator thing, to not want to leave a steaming poo behind that will signal to your prey that you are around waiting to eat them... that or they like the tinkling and splashing sound.
People don't talk about unicycles enough for anyone to need an abbreviation.
To be honest, when I said cycle, I wasn't referring to a bicycle. I was referring to this issue I get sometimes and I hate it. I know that about half the adult population never had a cycle.
Oh about not feeding the fish, that probably is impossible for me. If both Loki and Summers are begging at the same time, I feel like I have to feed them! Mr Summers doesn't like to beg. Well not as much as Loki does.
...but they make excellent gardeners.
I once had FedEx say my package had been delivered, but it was not there. A day or two later, after I had already told Google I didn't receive my sentient cockroach, an Octopus showed up at my door and said the package had arrived at his home instead of mine. I'm pretty sure this really happened. But the cockroach might have been a Chromecast and the Octopus may have been a random guy who went out of his way to get me my box.

Non-complaint: Yay! My weight loss program is proceeding. I was without a bathroom scale for a few weeks one week (cheap digital
) So, I bought a little better cheap digital scale and it arrived a couple days ago. I can now report that I was 205.8 before I lost the scale and I didn't get a daily dose of reality so my eating habits regressed. My new scale which arrived a few days ago showed me at 206.9, two pounds up.
But at least I had kept it relatively steady during the scaleless period. So a couple more days of 206.9 then 205.5 then I got sick for a full day. No vomiting, just pain and no energy. Still sick this moring and the scale now says 203.1. I had lost 2 and half pounds (a little over a Kilogram) in 24 hours. I have experienced a two pound increase in a day but had never lost more than about a half pound in a day. I know I didn't crap that much, so where did it go? Did I experience a stealth crap? Regardless, I'm now under 205 and heading for 200 (wheee...), the 2nd major goal (220 was the first). Yay!
Complaint: I'm still sickish. Back hurts, head hurts, joints hurt, but stomach has settled. Also, I notice that my hands are no longer steady. I shake quite a bit when doing simple things like lighting a match or handling tweezers or small screwdrivers. I have to place my palm or one of my fingers on a stable object to keep steady enough. I hope it's just a symptom of the virus running through me. I don't like not being able to do fine work easily.
My weight is coming off, but way to slow for me to be excited about it. Have only dropped 2 lbs in 3 weeks. I completely changed my diet, but at least it is coming down. I bought this scale from Amazon and what's nice is it's Bluetooth and it downloads into an app for your phone, iPad and such and tracks a lot of things for you and will give you reports. It is very accurate from what I can tell. I've tested between my weight at other doctor's appointments and with other stuff I know an accurate weight for. I first weigh something with my digital kitchen scale then take it up and put it on this scale and it's the exact same down to the oz so either both scales are fubared or they are very accurate. You can never tell these days. Could be a big conspiracy to trick people into thinking they are losing weight and doctor's are getting kickbacks from the big pharma for weight loss meds, lol.
I'm sorry your not feeling well. Have you tried taking anything for it? Did the shaking just start with this sickness? Once I became a diabetic and started taking the meds for it my hands are pretty steady now. I know my back, legs, and feet have been absolutely terrible the last few days. Been maxing out on my pain meds, muscle relaxers and Ibopropen. Sucks cause I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so maxing out for me is very unusual. I usually have half my prescription left at the end of the month cause I only take them when I'm on the verge of crying. I hate the damn things and want off of them so bad. They just need to get off their butts and increase my pain pump by a higher % with each visit. Put it this way I have Fentanal in my pain pump and I'm allowed to go up to 5,000 mcg a day and I'm at 365. It's been almost 6 months now since they started putting this med in. As far as sleep goes I've been averaging about 2 hours a sleep a night. Up for 21-22 hours then repeat.
All my life I've had shaky hands so it was always hard doing fine work. I use to have to hold things like screwdrivers the same way you described. Picking up very small objects like circuit board screws or various computer screws was impossible and even worse trying to put them in.
Hope you feel better soon. You should get checked by a doctor and tested for COVID and for flu ASAP.
+1, the fire dept was just next door yesterday taking out my neighbor who is now in very bad shape do to COVID and rushed him to the hospital. We haven't heard anything from his wife yet today. I hope they got him squared away and on a ventilator. I don't like the guy in the least but I hate seeing people like that and wish them the very best.
I still don't know what happened o my missing package.
Two pounds in three weeks isn't bad.
If you examine my chart below, you can see that over-time I lose 5 pounds in about 40 or 50 days. Lots of bouncing up and down, but everytime I bounce up I link it to some way in which I've violated my rules and pay particular attention to them until I get below the trend line (light blue line) calculated by the spreadsheet.
My rules?
One big meal per day.
Smaller portions every meal. (half a bowl instead of full, half a potato instead of whole)
Lock the candy away. Or at least only bring out two or three for the day.
No full candy bars. Only the miniature snack bars.
NO POTATO CHIPS!!! (sends me 5 pounds up by time the bag is finished. And the salt's not good for me either)
Eating out is allowed. But the day after is not permitted a big meal, only small ones.
Yeah, it's frustrating, I like to eat and I particularly like large bowls of soup, chili or potato & gravy or rice & gravy. And as Basil Fawly had said regarding his wife's opinion of his gambling habit: "That avenue of pleasure is no longer open to me."
Pizza is OK, but only less than 1/6th of a "large". Never two slices.
My shaking has been around for perhaps a year but had become really noticeable during the last few days. And I'm a little danger to myself if I'm handling a long knife. My hands may be shaking only imperceptably at the finger tips. But out at the end of a butcher knife or a long screwdriver, the tip is waving menacingly.
Trying to put a small screwdriver tip into a small screwhead is like trying to push two northend magnets together, they just don't want to unite. I have to use both hands, one on the handle, one on the tip, guiding it in place while both hands are stabilized on something close-by.
You should resolve that with the shipper as soon as possible, especially if they said it was delivered... either it was delivered to wrong address or it was stolen, so you need to let them know you didn't receive it when they said it was delivered.
I hope you only have a regular flu... be extra careful and get a Covid test just to be sure... they even sell home versions if you hate your doctor enough.

I often make jokes about falling out of my chair, or bumping my head under my desk because I was chasing a dropped cookie or other food item... there is some truth in that...even about the stabby gnome under sofa who I fight over food with...
My computer desk is actually by the back door and often when I'm working in my shop or outdoors, I'll come in and plop down on my office chair and stuff my face with food while reading and taking an unhealthy snack break... often in a reclining position... which leads to dropped food...
So I usually go after it because damned if any food is getting away from me.
Well, I was just eating some caramel mini rice cakes and half of one fell on the floor, so I swooped down and snarfed it up (five minute rule)... so a moment later I knocked over the ryobi lithium battery charger under the desk and I went under there and stood it back up... and found the missing half of the mini rice cake...
So... what the hell did I just eat?
Probably styrofoam, because that's the only thing that's the same consistency and texture... also, I've been opening lots of packages over there too.
Well, on the plus side styrofoam isn't fattening.
This could be a new diet fad... I'm sure if I figured a way of NFTing it too I could become a millionaire.
Also... I just realized that I know if I were to look it up there probably already is an NFTdiet, because people really are that stupid and I know if I see that it will destroy whatever remaining respect I have for humans...
So if there really is one or you look it up and find it's a thing... don't tell me... not now... I'm too tired to deal with the thought.
