I didn't go anywhere, I'm still at home.  Well, I did just go across the street to the mailbox...but that's it.

"Where did everybody go?":    Well, I went on a mini-adventure.  Wheee.smiley  Friend came by and twisted my arm to go with her on run to the Indian reservation (20 miles) for untaxed gasoline and some smoke.

Then, after getting gas we continued on (20 more miles) to the big indoor vendor's mall where they have various types of collectables, junk, trinkets, old china, coins, glassware, minerals, statuary, model trains, old military uniforms, etc., etc, ...

I really wanted to check out everything but I was pooped after the first big area (of 5) and just found a chair in which to sit and recuperate, and waited for her to walk by again and take pity on me so we could go home.

Then we stopped at a grocery store and I picked up basic consumables (bread, milk, eggs, salad greens, apples, bananas, etc.) When I got home I blearily put the groceries away and collapsed into my comfy chair for a late afternoon nap.  The last 10 days of being sick still have a grip on me, if my fatigue is any indication.

I'm not in the mood for a meal of crickets.  Do goldfish eat crickets?  I'm afraid to try as they tend to hop a lot.  I don't want a bunch of loose crickets in the home, though I did once had a stay cricket in the home chirping me crazy.

There is a candy store nearby that sells yummy bacon and cheese flavored crickets... As well as Bob Ross Positive energy drink...

And yes, those particular crickets are for human consumption.

Let's put a happy little cloud here, and some little crickets that live in the grass under the trees just here...

I would but my camera's busted.sad  And besides, there's six inches of snow and the temperature is 10F out there.  The crickets around here are screwed.surprise

Is this the bandwagon you want to hitch your star to?

I miss my grandmothers.  I dreamt about them last night.  I woke up remembering they are gone.

It still puzzles me... If those sellers or robots are minting tens of thousands of NFT's, do they have some backdoor into the blockchain or are they really paying a fortune in the process?

When you're 73 it isn't just grandmothers that you realize are gone.sad  So many of my people are gone and the world is being run by children.frown (Which might be a good thing because I know a lot of  stupid old people.  Then again, surviving to be old means that the really stupid ones were weeded out long ago when they were young.)indecision

Stupidity is not related to age...

Reminds me of a question that was asked from my colleque at a job interview... "How well do you tolerate stupid and slow people?..." laughcheeky

At least I have understood that you need to pay for listing and minting even before they will appear on the market for others to buy.

True... stupidity is the one equal opportunity feature of humans.

I used to find them entertaining to some degree, sorta like hamsters toddling around perpetually disoriented and confused, falling off stuff, bumping into and randomly biting each other... but not so much anymore... the last few years have removed that veneer of acceptance.

...there used to be a fellow here named Zilvergrafix who did so.  Haven't seen anything from him in years though  Th kink is to a small sampling from the Aiko and Hiro 3 Appreciation Thread from back 2012. Most of his work was on the old forums before then .

    So yes it is possible.

When will my ride to the eye doctor come?  I don't know for sure and I hate waiting games.

  • Sfariah DSfariah D Posts: 26,528

At eye doctor appointment but waiting to be seen.

If they have trouble seeing you, maybe you should make some noise.

I saw eye doctor and vision is about the same so don't need to get new glasses.

  • McGyverMcGyver Posts: 7,066

Vision is about the same?... how's Wanda doing?

    A little MCU humor there...

    Okay, "Bad" MCU humor...

    Terrible?

My funny is off today... somebody posted a thread titled "G8F Olive Eyes" and I decided not to quickly model a pitted olive and replace a G8F figure's eyeballs with them, render it out and photoshop a fake DAZ store product page and ask "Is this what you are looking for?"...

I think I'm the only one who laughs at that... and even I think those dumb jokes are bad.

Wanda isn't here, but Summers and Loki are.

(probably shouldn't do jokes on media I'm not too familiar with?)

There is a fictional fish named Wanda or something like that.  I never saw a fish called Wanda nor do I really know much about Wanda the fish?
