..Foxtrot.Yankee.India. Rare appearance of Stonemason's store on Flash Sale 60% off. Not sure hoe much longer it will last.

Just got Utopia Labs and Utopia City Blocks off my wishlist.

...ahh bugger could have saved another 6$, forgot I had the PA coupon from PC+.

    ETA....

So got the Village Courtyard & Pool Bundle for a total of 12$ and change.

Not a bad haul before MM.

I enjoyed browsing through the Genesis items. I had forgotten about many of them and I really wanted them at the time. Although I have bought some G2 stuff, I haven't used any of it yet. For me Genesis still has so many possibilities that I may never get to G2. I bought some and added a lot to my Wishlist. My theory is to only buy from my Wishlist during MM. I don't care what they come out with or how much they tempt me, if it's not on my list I'm not going to buy. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. For now anyway.

Good to see you back, KK. Kulay, you hang in there and stand up for yourself. There really is someone out there who will cherish you for the beautiful person you are. Congrats, Troutface. Get well soon. Sick people should stay home and quit spreading their nasties to others. Misty, you get well too.

    Hi KK!

Daffodils? Ugh! I don't know if they'll come up at all this year! The snow on that side of the house is at least 2 to 3 feet deep, deeper away from the house. And that's not from shoveling, that's just fallen snow. The drifts go toward the fence, where some of the snow is probably 4 feet deep. I don't think this stuff will melt before May! :smirk:

Something that I don't get is why people load up on milk and white bread when there's a storm coming. How much white bread can you actually eat in a few days? A gallon of milk usually lasts us about a week. We've had some tough storms here this winter, but none that have kept us stuck indoors for a week.

Unfortunately, I don't think a boot will do the job. It will take a front loader at the very least.

I'm going to watch the news now, and then I'll probably head off to bed. I've gotten my sleep schedule fixed a little bit.

Bravo! That could be the start!

    Dana

I'm insanely pragmatic.. it's not likely to happen. It's mostly for bragging rights, and I seem to have an audience.. so, I figure if I can make beer money I'd qualify as "successful". ;-) Plus, anything on the various compilations goes to help support and promote ambient music, so I get to give back to the community! :cheese:

    Oooh dat's pretty cool :>

Hehe, I always figured if I ever started making games, it'd be for the fun and enjoyment and less for being 'successful' or making money. Both great side-bonuses, but I'd rather have fun telling a story or making a game then exploring my own creations than worrying about it being a hit or something. Same goes for art - rather have fun than be popular. :)

bragging rights are good, gratz :)

I would take a picture of my pets not liking the snow but then they would die. They prefer to stay in their tanks where it is nice, wet and warm for them to swim in. Of course they are bettas what would one expect.

    @Rezca - nice raptors! :cheese:

    Complaints!

    - 21F now, high of 31F
    - Tonight down to 18F, tomorrow high of 31F again
    - Snow Saturday, Sunday, Monday :shut:
    - Need to shop tomorrow in case I get snowed in :long:

    This weather blows. :shut:

Har, talking to a headhunter in Portland, and one in PA (Harrisburg). Harrisburg has decent mass transit! Sure, the cold and snow bites, but if it's no worse than here I'll move just for the better transit system. I'd prefer Portland, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually. :)

Waiting for my ride to work.. saves taxi fare. At least I feel better today! :cheese:

*edit* succumbed to a sale.. got The Constrictor.. snakeyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! :snake: :snake:

Here, it's 23F and feels like 10F, we'll have a high of 27F and tonight it will go down to 7F. There was an unexpected forecast for a little snow this morning, but it looks like maybe it went out to sea to the south of us, it hasn't started yet. Although, it is still quite cloudy...maybe it's just late.

Whinge: why do all the jobs that fit my skills end up mostly in cold places? Submitted to a place in Harrrisburg PA, now Milwaukee WI. :blank: :blank:

Not sure how the Portland thing will work out, it's early stages yet. :blank:

Best to hole up if you can - too many folks I know where FROZEN WATER FROM THE SKY is coming down have wiped out just getting out of their driveways. :ahhh: :bug:

I already went and returned home. Safely, but just barely. People out there are so stupid. Hopefully it will stop and the roads will be properly cleared before Diane leaves work. She beat the snow in this morning.

I have to go eat. I haven't eaten anything yet. I had another thing I had to take care of first.
