Got my pay stub and a nice pep-talk from my placement agent.. he's deathly afraid I''m just going to walk out, reassured him that I would ship this or die trying (I've already set my resume' on my two job boards to "not searchable") so he left happy and gave promises of many free lunches (heh).

An hour and temp minutes and I'm ou of here.. hit the liquor store for good beer.. then home to set up the projects for my final 2 album tracks, as well as the mastering project! Soon my album will be done! :cheese: :cheese:

Arrrrrrrrrrrg My store and account pages have reverted to gigantic size. I remember when they came online there was a way to go back to our normal smaller size. How?

Looking through my Product Library, I got this cute message. WTF, DAZ? I can't just run out and buy a bigger monitor/laptop/computer because you choose to program your site with hugeness for the mobile users.

ETA: You might learn how to spell too.

What kind of device lets you "veiw"? :blank:

So just beat DQM2, and am just slightly annoyed that the entirety of the credits is in English. All of it. Every single name and all the positions (Marketing Director, Art and Monster Designer, Programming, etc), is in English characters.

Really, why do they do that? Shouldn't the credits be in Japanese like the rest of the game? Why put in English input at all - and have the credits in English - when they've got no plans to localize the game anyway?! (Not that anyone ever really pays attention to the credits in a game to begin with....)

Well yeah, I do look at the credits in many cases. Usually they go by too fast for ya to read them (like in cartoons at the end) but in this case it was pretty darn hard NOT to notice 'em, since it was the only readable thing in the game :P

I wonder how many folks in Japan might be playing through and it gets to the credits and they just think "Yeah I can't read this..."
Probably not as many as we'd expect, since English lettering seems to be kind of popular in Japan for some reason, especially in games and manga/anime aimed at younger audiences.

Mm in the credits for Red vs Blue's S12 DvD, there were some funny names at times. Probably people using their screennames instead of real names, since I saw things like Sushi Monster at times :)
Also credited Obsidian Dawn. I wonder what they used her brush packs for?

Last night's forecast revised the totals. Now we're only expecting 1 to 2 inches. So, 50% reduction. Still...first day of Spring, snow. Maybe it will change some more, but there are clouds here already. Not heavy clouds, though, it's still kind of bright.

...yeah, for me most of the new offerings have been pretty much meh. Lots of fantasy stuff (as usual) but there also have been a few nice clothing items (wishlist) and a cool new pose kit (also wishlist). Other than the three Old Railway sets, only picked up a couple PCi items. Still need to use my 6$ regular PC coupon.

...that would require I have clear short path to the loo for the rest of the day.. Stopped going to Burger Sling when they kept messing up my orders and putting mayo on when I told them not to.

Just the thought almost makes me nauseous

    complaint #300,3012
I wish Daz would not make us buy 2 or more new releases in order to participate e the 70% sales. like the geneses 70% going on.
By the time I get done buying 2 things at 30% in order to get the 70% off items . i no longer have the money for the 70% items
so the sale to me is a rather moot point.
there must be others feel this way too. I understand Daz wanting us to buy the new releases. but this is March Madness after all in the old days
the march madness sale items were clearly marked no guessing at what on sale that day. no puttings items in your cart to see if its on sale or not.
its makes it a heck of a lot easier to see whats in sale in your wish list as well if items were clearly marked on sale .

How About Daz guys? can you please make it a little more easier to participate in the sales with out having to buy the farm to get the animals,

Was hoping to get the Genesis G suit to do some superhero work (the G-Suit for G2 is HD which is a killer when it comes to rendering on an older system).

Mother to child: Dessert withheld until you eat your broccoli and turnips.

Mean prison guard to starving prisoner: "I've got a meat scrap for you, but first you have to cut off your foot.

Rumplestiltskin to miller: I'll spin straw into gold to save your daughter but I get her first born child.

DAZ to catalog addicts: Here, my pretties. Just what you've always wanted, and cheap too. But first you must give me a pound of flesh. (massive apologies to William Shakespeare)
