I fell in love with Star when I first saw her, but had to wait for my check to make her mine. She's turned into a big hit. I just wish I could have everything that is released for her.

I wish I could remember my rdna password but she will be mine soon enough hopefully.
...if you use Firefox, do the following:

Go to: Tools>Options>Security there should be a button there that reads "Saved Passwords". If you saved your password under FF, you can click that button and it will bring up a list of sites which have passwords saved. You can either scroll down or use the search option to find the name of the site (e.g. "runtimeDNA"). If it is there, you can then just right click on the username listed and it will give you a choice to either to "copy password" or "copy username". Copy the password and close the Tools window. Then when you get to the login page for RDNA, paste it into the password field.

I do this a lot, faster than dealing with most sites' password recovery routine.

Just got this super-adorable drawing of a Komodo from Dragon Quest IV / DragonQuest Monsters <3<br /> (Also known as Mini-Dragons in the first two Monsters titles, but usually just Komodos)

    They're so cuuuute~
The one sitting there eating a pomegranate is the pic I commissioned, the others are official depictions of them :)

...yeah,now they cost almost as much as a paperback novel did a few years ago.

    ...and they still have Adverts!

part of y rationale for never wanting cable television. If I have to pay nearly 100$ a month for it I shouldn't have to deal with commercials. Back in it's early days the advantage of what was then called "Pay TV" was being able to get commercial free programming.

I do not see the point of television any more other than to watch ads for different companies with some kind of stupid program mixed in it most of the time.

I am guilty of settling down to watch a good show on TV only to find that it's not a show. It's just a commercial. Once upon a time, many years ago, there was a one-hour broadcast without any commercials. I don't remember what the show was, but the sponsor who didn't interrupt with commercials was Revlon.

Last night.. go out to bar, it's crowded, stayed for 2 beers, came home and chatted online. I used to not mind crowds, but as I've gotten older I'e developed a serious crowd aversion... :blank:

    Oh well...

It's called maturity or enochlophobia I forget which.

I dislike going to dinner with more than two other people. I'm dreading my 50th high school reunion.

Bars are vile places where people talk too loudly, act too weirdly and smell badly. Which is OK if you're on a booty hunt but I'm long past that.

Restaurants are vile places where people talk too loudly, don't control their kids, and the air is full of clanking, clattering, and incompatible smells.

Major amusement parks are vile places where one has to walk too much, stand in line too much, pay too much for fast food, pay too much for the privilege of even getting into the place, and watch kids badger their parents. However there is often a new attraction that I simply must see so I put up with it.

I hear you about going out, Leather Gryphon. Last time I went out to eat with family, there were about 12 of us. Ten were glued to their cellphones the whole time. I didn't even have mine with me and the other was a young boy who didn't own one. I think my condition can be summed up as old and cranky.

That's why I don't go to places like IHop or Dennys for hotcakes or waffles because they don't have the "real thing".

I'm an odd one in that I mostly just shuffle into a corner and try and pretend I'm not there whenever I go out to eat xD
When with family though it's... Well, mostly the same. Quiet and just don't get into the conversations much. When I was younger it wasn't a cellphone but a gameboy or something, but that sorta died off when I was getting into my 17 ~ 19 years. Mostly just was shy and reclusive, unless a topic I was interested in popped up hehe.

Can't stand amusement parks because the thrill rides horrify me, and there's too many people. I like the food sometimes tho, and the nicknack stands :)
Got a realyl cool dragon figurine at one once

Is that some kind of tradition there? They let you get away with that?

We went to IHOP a few weeks ago, first time I've ever been. I had a spinach and mushroom omelet. First time I've even had an omelet, too. I thought it was really good. We returned a few weeks later to have another. It's not something we do often, but we plan on going again now and then.

Partially because of all the data they can store in them, partially because of how they're saved. If it's Photoshop, it SHOULD ask you if you want to include Layers (Increases size), as well as IF and HOW it should be compressed.

Selecting No Compression (Default) results in very, very, very, very big files.

Tagged Image File Format? I haven't heard about TIFFs in years. Simple reason: most TIFs are not compressed like GIFs, PNG or Jpeg files. Some software programs are able to save compressed TIFFs.

how many color bits is tif?

    i think, hdr is 32-bit.

there's some hdri light sets makes shmootzy shadows. trying to figure out how to fix those.

i'd like to put together a lightset library for every hour of the day/night, and seasonal winter summer spring autumn :) -without splotchy shadow results.

before starting to mess with iray, etc, i really want to master 3de and carrara lighting.

i realllllly hate those fb popup

Somewhere in one of the threads here I posted a link to the Wikipedia article (I think) about TIFF images. Interesting info.

Despite the huge size of TIFF images I save all my static renders in that format. If I postwork them then I save those results as PSD just because it's Photoshop's default format. And I can tell my originals from my worked files by their type. But, both PSD and TIFF specifications are controlled by Adobe. TIFF can be losslessly compressed but I rarely worry about it.

From the following chart it looks like each pixel in TIFF has 24-bit color data (three 8-bit color channels) or 16Million colors.
