Okay! Here she is! If you want comparisons, request them. She's listed as "Stylized":

I'll just start off with Genesis 2 Female Base, just to give us something to start with:

They took Giselle and scaled her head up. Now she is called Ninive. ;-P
Next thing they take Giselle, scale her head down and call her Ysabeau. ;-)

Any hints of a new dog somewhere? Or maybe a scaled down Big Cat? :-)

Unfortunately, as we saw from Belle 6, being put in the 'stylised' category doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Well, actually the thing with Belle and brodie is that the actually are a bit stylized in the face. compared to Josie/Jayden and even Julie/Justin. Later products helped to show that they're supposed to be a double use as young teens and elves.

Though, I do admit that nothing is really coming to mind with a name like "Ysabeau"...

I noticed that this morning. I assume it's another female figure.

There is an "Isabeau" from the 80s movie "Ladyhawke", played my Michelle Pfeiffer.

Quantity isn't necessarily a guarantee of quality. :)

Yes, there are lots of G2F characters, but quite a number of them can often seem generic/interchangeable (to the point where you know you could pretty much dial in the same shape with G2F and/or V6).

It's part of why I wish more preview images of new characters were rendered bald. Hair can dramatically change a character's appearance and removing it takes away that false aesthetic illusion. We would get a much better idea of whether it's worth adding the newest to our respective digital 'gene pools', in that way.

That's a really interesting name, it would be neat if she were some kind of slightly alien or animal/human hybrid like a Na'vi or a Thundercat or something. :) Of course we're always wrong and almost always disappointed, but maybe we can at least give DAZ the occasional good idea for future characters with our speculation.

To me Ysabeau sounds every bit as Arthurian as Ninive, if not more so.

Looks curvier than Ninive, but no other associations come up off the top of my head.

I certainly sounds European, medieval too.

Ysabeau \ys(a)-beau\ as a girl's name is of Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Ysabeau is "God is my oath". Ysabeau is a variant of Isabel (Hebrew):

    Spanish variant of Elizabeth.

sheesh, I though Ysabeau was French. I was thinking she was going to be another fairy/pixie/elf type character......or i was trying to picture something like an aristocratic figure (er, not THE aristocrats, of course)

Someone mentioned above about Belle 6 being "stylized" - I could never work out what the difference between Belle and Josie were. To my mind, they were teenage girls. Both of them. The same age.

I am SO tired of all these "new" characters!!! I REALLY AM. Every single one of them has a new and different UV, and every single one of them could be handled by just releasing different morph packs! Like in the days of V4 - the muscle morphs, the elite morphs etc. Will it ever stop??? This is getting so damn ridiculous.

Well it's pretty much how DAZ makes money I would guess.

I don't mind the way the morphs are released either, the only thing that really bugs me is that the texture sets have become so damn interchangeable.

Isabeau or Ysabeau is indeed a French name too (indeed derived from a Spannish version of Elisabeth). It's an old name (there was a French queen called Isabeau in the middle ages), and quite rare nowadays, the other variant Isabelle is much more frequent.

It probably is how DAZ makes most of their money these days. DAZ knows very well how enthusiastically some of us here constantly pillage through product FBM and the wiki Readme's or how quick we are to announce and jump on leaked name threads (even though they say they don't frequent the forums). Just look at how much they've changed the ReadMe page just to keep us hunters from finding out... :)

    Ysabeau was the LadyHawke lady.

I'm hoping Ysabeau and her male counterpart are like pacific islander couple.

I think Isabeau is also the full name of the lead character "Bo" in the TV show Lost Girl.

    Just an FYI.

Well seems that Ysabeau 6 http://www.daz3d.com/ysabeau-6-bundle is another version of Giselle 6 just maybe a bit older or younger hard to tell, as the blurb for Ysabeau 6 mentions fairy ears and fairy eye morph as well..
