The joke is i got the pre-order Bonus but Not the Bundle to Download.

Ya well, did anyone who preordered, get any bundled content to download?

Meaning:

- preordered Victoria 9: you can download Victoria 9 but not bundled/freebies content like hair.

- preordered Victoria 9 Bundle: NO content, except Starter Essentials.

I found the issue with the G9 male tee shirt too, it seemed that when I tried to expand it, it just got worse. Gave up. Currently rendering G9M with dForce MI Business Suit for G8M and G8.1M. Only the shoes were a challenge.

The poses included for the base and males in Starter Essentials are a turn off. I only found one that is close to a masculine. And DAZ, I have been working around a lot of gay men for the last decade, and many of them don't strut around like a Genesis female is expected to. Can those poses get replaced or something?

While I ran into the issue with the brows, card and hair, they did load onto the character. I looked in my data file and there are a lot missing it seems. Both volumes of the G9 Starter Essentials were installed without issue.

When will Measure Metrics be updated for G8?

That being said, the figures look nice, and they rendered nicely (using my new RTX 4090 :-D). I'm looking forward to the Victoria 9 release 

I figured the missing eyebrow part out. The script is looking for a UV map that is part of the character essentials, not the starter essentials. (proper QA could have prevented that)

The shirt morphs still doing nothing. But you can workaround certain mishaps with, smoothing and collision iterations as well as a push modifier. (Again QA could have prevented that)

I can't find any preset expressions either, but the regular morphs to build an expression are working fine. So I guess the Genesis vanilla figure has to deal with not having easy to use presets.

Compare the list with the list in Genesis 9 Starter Essentials. Assuming that is right and not a mis-copy it looks as if we are getting the morph-pack equivalents free (I have sent in a query to double-check).

There is an update to G9 Essentials! Still no bloody V9 or bonus rewards though, what a joke!

Update to G9 Starter Essentials DLed and Installed. Same missing file errors.

Read Me doesn't list the revision, so no clue what was changed.

I also preordered the V9 bundle on the day of release. I have Genesis 9 essentials in DIM which failed to download. Will try later. No signs of anything else in DIM. Interestingly the V9 bundle shows as purchased in the store, but none of the individual items show as purchased.

Aren't the Victoria 9 HD textures supposed to be 8K, I checked and mine are only 4K. Hope this doen't repeat post as thought I had already commented on this somewhere, If so I appologise.

The detail maps are 8K, the rest are 4K as the detail maps are what do the work and making them all 8K would be resource-heavy.

There is a general issue, please don't send tickets unless/until Daz says the general issue is fixed and yours isn't.

I preordered the bundle and don't have any parts of it in my DIM. Hopefully that will get sorted later today, I'm anxious to give it a spin.

Thank you for clearing that up, found the Genesis 9  where you said in Skin_Details guess the Victoria 9 ones are buried in data unless it uses the same as base.

Sorry, the morph list is much shorter - I was thrown by the other items in the list or something.

Enter Victoria 9 in the filter box and hit Filter. Note that the manual downloads may not be available as yet.

It's [annoying] that people buying today get it before people who pre-ordered. It's worrying that a company like Daz were taken by surprise and forgot to add the pre-orders to people accounts. :->

Bingo.

We helped fund the product by preordering, then are shifting to the back of the line.

If DAZ wants to do this in the future they need it either sort out their (repeated) distribution errors...

Or they need to build the errors into the system by (planning) release of pre-orders on Wednesday and putting it on sale on Friday.

I think this is a learning moment that illustrates one more reason why pre-ordering anything is NEVER a good idea.

Woke up early this morning to play with the new figure before work, and it wasn't appearing in DIM or Daz Central. It looks as if the problem still has not been resolved? :( Well, at least I know that pre-ordering from Daz isn't a good idea now. Never making that mistake again. Really big "we already have your money, so get to the back of the line" energy.
