    So... let me get this straight. It would have been cheaper to buy Vic *after* release with the coupon than it would have been to preorder?

    I guess you got Voss hair free, but you could buy that and a new release to get a discount, then use your $6 coupon on it, and it'd end up being cheaper. 

    And there's also been a bunch of errors with the preorders, and we've also not actually got said bonuses yet despite being nearly two days now?

    I was pretty vocal about not much liking the bundle since I first saw the items, but was happy to keep them for the things I did like and to support gen9. But after all this mess... at this rate I think I might return it like others, and just buy Vic and the lovely hair at a later date. 

    Especially since we haven't really heard a single word from daz about the whole thing. I haven't ever done a preorder from here before, instead just quietly watching the chaos they've historically caused, so it's on me that I bought into this one. At this rate I'm not gonna make that mistake again :p And considering how long it's been, I very much doubt preorderers are going to see any recompense from daz...

    Somethings is weird here, I ordered the weekly freebies and the v9 items load properly now. It was the same yesterday, just loading when I logged in, then they started working after I placed an order.

    Also I just noticed that the order number from the vic bundle takes me to the order I made just now when I click on it.

    There is a fix of some sort being waited on. But you can do tickets.

    i have an open ticket from the time before we ve been told not to ticket ;)

    and the response 2 days ago was,   "we are working on it and come back to you...."

    i hope it s not the same as on my last tickets that are in limbo for months now...

     

    and btw has anyone any idea when will get ... lets rephrase... when we ll be able to buy the body morphs jay was advertising for weeks? 
    Gen 9 and VIC are nice to play but without the ability to change shapes it s not much to do real work with...

    I got the pre-order items. So I'm convinced that at least in Customer Service everybody works hard to deal with the situation. 

    Who should get laid off are the number crunchers at management. They are responsible for this mess. They have decided to go the "El Cheapo" route for I.T.

    Yes, agreed. Such a train wreck is usually the result of a management-level decision. With any project, you have the "Project Management Triangle": Quality - Time - Budget. The thing is: you can only pick two. Fast and good will never be cheap. Cheap and good will never be fast. And cheap and fast will never be good. It seems they have opted for the later.

    ... and I lost access to the Victoria 9 HD Intro Bundle products again.  I had access for a few hours yesterday but they're borked again this morning.  In short, I bought the package a month ago, couldn't get to the items for 36 hours AFTER they were available for purchase, and now I can't download them again.  Refund time.

    Maybe Daz should stop having sales that rely on this automated system that grants access to items at a specific time in the future. This is the second time in 2 months for me that this system has failed (the other was the missing coupon from the Streak sale) and it obviously isn't ready for prime time.

    They've sold other products in the past that came with a limited time freebie. Arrived in the order.

    I've spent the past couple of days playing with G9 (male and female), V9, and autofit. The conclusion I've come to is that I will not be purchasing any G9 characters or clothing for quite some time. Autofit works well enough for the clothing items I tend to use. BUT until there is either an autofit process that converts shoes reliably or a massive collection of shoes available I've no use for the new generation.

    Daz is aware of the morph requirement issue. Unfortunately they cannot release the morph packs today, but they wil be out as early as possible next week we are told.

    yea a lot of shoes are not working at all :(  i hope they fix that

    but since i ve done first tests comparing 8.1 / 9 in the same scenes, i can t unsee the difference in quality. a lot of old renders to retouch and redo with exchanges/upgraded gen9s

    Are Sydney and Growing Up going to get their proper "required products" on their respective store pages? Unless people have daz deals and click on the links to the forum posts about them, people are going to be buying these products without realising they're unuseable in their current states (or require helpful but unofficial fixes from PAs)

    If I remember correctly what Zev said, Growing Up isn't supposed to require additional morphs. He has put an update to the store as well it is attached to a post in the commercial thread.

    And so I merrily went shopping, but golly gee ... near to the end of the store's day ... the offer to receive as many free items from a select pool*, as one has new purchases from the Growing Up pool, is NOT working. Not fighting with shopping carts tonight, sales here will have to wait for a better day.

    Well, since it's impossible to tell which characters do and don't require the morphs, or, since further delays are possible, when the morphs will become available it's hard to have confidence when making purchases.  Already had an issue with Growing Up.  That only got sort of fixed with a pose kludge that people will have to root around in the forums for.

    The Flash sale expiry times and dates are often obscured by the navigation dots (or whatever they're called) at the bottom of the slab.

    And, are we to believe the "Spooktacular" sale is until Oct 31st? A full ten days? Time to clear the wish list...

    I'm tired of this advance advertising about the new generation. I'm not going to ask for the Voss hair part of the V9 pre order and if it doesn't show up in my library, so be it.
    Genesis 9 is a great improvement over the previous ones, but where are the purchasable morphs/shapes? Very slow operation and now you can only find the ones for commercial use (Genesis 9 Body Shapes Merchant Resource) which are terribly expensive for hobbyist use??? Can we have them too cheaper?

    I want to do something with the new generation, i.e. Sell us the tools for it now and not next year.

    Shouldn't they have been aware of that possible problem BEFORE releasing that figure(s)? devil

    That sounds like an issue with joint adjustments. Which verrion of Daz Studio are you using?
