Mkay, I work in IT. Have for decades. It's always a known fact of "no-write-Friday". Friday is the day you make new cables, image your spare systems, tidy up your work area. You want a nice quiet weekend because Monday is usually a hellstorm.
Same here. I'm a software engineer. Yes, I would never deploy anything on a Friday. Turning up to work on Monday and finding everything in flames is horrible. As is the inevitable blame game witch hunt that follows in the inferfo's wake.

This problem is not limited to Macs. I have the same issure on my PC.
Agreed. I've got a Windows 10 machine and a Mac. Same problem on both. Basically the issue isn't at my end by the looks of it.
I can't log in to DAZ3DIM or the website. But a wierd thing happens with the website. Logins fail ... but then something signs me in!? Hence I can write on this forum. Something is amiss with the auth system perhaps?
It is now 9:05 EST, Saturday 14 October 2022. We have authentication problems across multiple users, time zones, and operating systems. Purchases cannot be made by many, or downloaded if they are. Are we expected to wait until Monday for this issue to get resolved? Personally, I was planning on loading assets to a new, more robust system this weekend. Having to start the work offline is less than optimal, although it is possible.
I can login into anything Daz that includes studio, central, and install manager. I may have made it worse with resetting the password. I also cleared the cache ,cookies and History off my PC. Even though the pass word change is not being recognized at all. The only place I seem to be able to access is the store website. Any help would be appeciated.

I can get around Daz3d.com not logging me in by logging in, getting the "I don't know you" thing and going to the shop, where I am surprisingly logged in ... but there is no workaround for DIM.
Could you retry please, a change has been implemented but as we weren't having the issue we can't really test
I was able to log in through Daz Studio 4.21. Thanks to Daz for addressing the issue after hours and the mods for bringing it to the attention of the IT staff. I hope others are having equal success.
as far as I know the only change made on Friday was trying to fix the initial issue.
Yeah, crap crashes at inopportune times. I also know from experience that test environment != prod environment sometimes. Do something in test, works fine...implement in prod...everything breaks.

remember the week way back when the credit card processor was running the cards ... filling the orders, marking them paid, but not charging the cards?
I noticed it the first day... tried to call ... left phone messages several places messaged richard and jack..
still took a week before it was officially noticed.
I was good... but it was really tempting to order a couple $500 or whatever the max gift cards were. (okay, maybe just too broke to take a chance on one of them going through, also).

Any official statement on this regard? This issue seems to effect alot now, including me.

It's not a local system issue. It's the cloud authentication server having issues.

Seems that the issue is fixed. I was able to log on to DIM again.
