    1 product = 1 extra Freebee (if released on 5th).

    Subtotal = 2 items in 5 days (then we hunt again for 4 days)

    Total =12 freebies

    But who knows? This is simply a guess. Which is what easter hunting is all about :) Thank you DAZ.

    Lucky you. I miss the woods. They were a big part of my past until I left Canada in 1999.

    We started on the 8th so there were no eggs on the first 7 days.... that leaves just 23 days. 23 days is just 5 products it's missing a day to be 24 days and 6 products. (+1 Extra for collecting all eggs)

    Another way to think about it is if there are 4 days with egg and the 5th will be the product day. (They might do this not to mess up things.) If they do this there will be 4  free products (+1 Extra for collecting all the eggs)

    If you collect every Easter Egg in the month of April   <= This is just the end of the month, not every 4th-5th day.

     

    Thank you. Makes total sense. This is why, as a youth  I sucked at math in school. I was trapped inside a basement, deprived of fresh oxygen while others were out easter hunting. And since 2009 fresh oxygen is a scarce expeience.How I manged to do tax returns for others still amazes me. All I can say is thank God for Simply Accounting and other programs. Maybe it was all those walks in the woods and on the beach (pilfering nature) that saved me. LOL.

    My guess is that they miss out on the first gift and a free gift from the summation but there are still freebies for everyone.

    To echo what @nemesis10 said...

    In terms of an individual item, that's what I infer from, "Collect all 4 in a series to get a FREE* Item!" + "Each Easter Egg is available for one day for Daz+ Members only, so grab it before it’s gone!"

    At least there are a few potential other free "egg" items for any members who think it's worth the effort to collect.

    UPDATE: On my end, the link is fixed! While the URL still says "4-of-4" the product shows the correct 3 of 4 for today. I assume that is what really matters and the URL is superficial.

    when I clicked on the link it gave me an error but I was able to click on the cart and was able to "purchase" it anyway, doesn't matter really since I missed the first one as I didn't know this was happening as no email or anything

    That is a wildly incorrect URL that Daz has put onto the page. The daz3d.com part is missing, and it should be part 3 of 4, not 4 of 4.

    The correct incorrect URL is https://www.daz3d.com/daz-easter-egg--dd-pbr-metal-grille-shaders--4-of-4/ -- the item is actually there, but, as mentioned, it should be 3 of 4 in the URL and not 4 of 4, so when they fix it, this one will probably break -- 4 of 4 will be reserved for tomorrow's final quarter.

    Actually, it seems that today's item (#3) wasn't loaded properly. The link to the page is trying to open #4 of 4.

    i think we get 2 products - metal shader set (as the 4 eggs) and the character - a companiontoon animal  to Toon Horse for DAZ Horse 3? I could only hope! laugh

    I believe theer are going to be some (guessed at but not confirmed) number of "easter eggs" requiring several free purchases, and anyone who gets a full set (I would expect some kind of limited catch-up opportunity so don't despair if you miss one or two, but do try to grab them at the time) will also get another item, a character of some kind (Genesis 9 Female would seem most likely).

    I collected the four pieces of the egg, and I found a free tree (hooray it rhymed) in the shop. Is that a bonus for collecting the first egg?

    When was Kashmir Cypress Trees added? It was only Wollemi Pine Trees and Circulare Natural Environment when I checked that section on Wednesday. Medieval Behemoths and POD Living Construction Kit weren't shown on the page at that time either.

    Daz+ releases are supposed to happen on Wednesdays, and I'd have missed this free item if you hadn't mentioned it and the normal rollover happens tomorrow... Bit annoyed. Are these early releases (or mistakes)?

    Those were released today, and yes they're early releases from the new batch of Daz+ items which would usually have appeared tomorow.

     This how I read it, too. And the "What's included" in the description in my Product Library for each (!) part of the Easter Egg reads the same, showing the same metals, the same textures and maps etc.

    So as I got all four (shader) egg parts today, I expect the full product to be ready to download for me tomorrow as it says on the product page for the 4th part of the egg:
    "Free items will be added to your account before the end of the day following the release of the fourth piece in each series."

    And there seem to be more Eggs supposed to come in during April, as there's another line saying:
    "Collect all of the Easter Eggs for the month of April to receive an additional free character before the end of the day May 1"

    Many thanks to DAZ for this successful fooling of customers. In the future I will no longer pay attention to special offers from DAZ.
